"Is he going to be okay?" Kyungsoo asked when Lay stood from the bed.

He had carried Baekhyun home. As soon as he got into the apartment he asked Lay to check if the omega was alright.

He lived with 4 other roommates and 3 of them were home. Lay, Sehun and Tao immediately helped him bring in the little omega.

"He is perfectly fine. Just exhausted physically and from what you told us emotionally as well," Lay responded with a sigh of relief.

"Thank goodness. I was worried those rogues might have touched him before I got there." Kyungsoo was relieved the young wolf was fine.

He knew what rogues were capable of and was relieved he had arrived just on time.

Baekhyun's POV

I was running as fast as my little legs could carry me, but it didn't seem like I was going fast enough.

I could hear the footsteps behind me getting closer and closer but I never gave up and pushed further.

I refuse to be caught and taken back to that hell.

NEVER.

Before I could take another step I was tackled to the ground before hearing the familiar sinister laugh that always haunted my dreams.

"Found you my beautiful omega."

"Noooooooooo....!!!" I screamed opening my eyes as I jumped up, just before crushing to the floor.

"Oh my gosh. Are you okay?" I felt hands wrap around my shoulders and I was about to fight back when I inhaled Kyungsoo's now familiar scent.

"That's it. Just breath. No one is going to hurt you. You are safe now," he said as he caressed my hair. I stopped shivering and after a couple of minutes my heart rate was back to normal.

"How do you feel?" Kyungsoo asked.

"I...I'm...okay." I took a deep breath "I'm just a bit tired and hungry," I said.

He let go of me and that's when I realized we were not alone and I held his hand tighter.

"Don't worry Baek. They won't hurt you. These are my roommates and close friends," Kyungsoo explained.

"Are they also vampires?" I asked because their scents were also unfamiliar.

"No. I'm the only vampire here," Kyungsoo said before sitting both himself and I on the bed.

"Hello there, my name is Lay," the tall one with pink hair said as he took a step forward, "I'm a fairy but everyone calls me the healing Unicorn because of my looks and abilities."    

"I like your hair. It reminds me of cotton candy," I said with a giggle. He was cute and didn't look like he would hurt a fly.

"Hi.. My name is Tao and this grumpy looking guy next to me is Sehun. Don't mind him. He is a cool guy but likes to keep to himself," the one who looks like a panda spoke and pointed to another tall guy next to him who had a poker-face. He was serious but very handsome.

"I'm a cat shifter and he is a demon, well half demon, but don't worry. He is a good guy and will never hurt you," Tao explained.

"Half demon?" I said a bit shocked. I knew there were a lot of supernatural creatures but meeting so many different types that I never knew existed was kind of cool.

"Wow...that's amazing," I said with a smile. They all looked at me like I was crazy but I was genuinely fascinated.

We spent the rest of the day chatting and getting to know each other. There was an extra room and I was glad they wanted me to stay with them. I was getting comfortable around them and was glad this was my new home and I had easily made friends so soon.

Kyungsoo was definitely the mother of the household and was already protective of me. Holding me close, we cuddled on the sofa watching a movie. He made sure I was fed, clean and comfortable.

Sehun was quiet most of the time and gave a one-word answers which just fascinated me even more. I wondered what abilities demons had. He was so handsome and nothing like demons portrayed in movies and how I imagined them to be.

Tao was childish and very talkative and fun to be around. We were definitely going to be close friends.

Kyungsoo explained there was one more roommate I was only going to be able to see him the next day.

He took me to my new room and gave me some clothes to wear to sleep. They were going to buy me clothes the next day and I was more than grateful for everything they had already done for me.

I knocked out as soon as my head hit the pillow. It was the first time in a long time I slept with a smile on my face.

I woke up later that night because I needed to use the toilet. On my way back to my room my nostrils were invaded with the most beautiful, intoxicating, mouthwatering scent I had ever smelt. It was like cinnamon and honey. It was faint but I followed the scent to an empty room.

It must be their other roommate's room. The scent made me feel pure bliss and comfort. I lay on the bed where the scent was the strongest and inhaled deeply. I was a bit confused with my behavior until my wolf purred 'MATE'.
