"Yeollie I want this one. Oooooo...and this one." Baekhyun jumped up and down like an excited puppy at all the pretty clothes he found.

"Anything for you baby boy," Yeol said with a smile. Actually, he was grinning and he looked like a goofy nerd with his glasses on. A lovesick nerd.

"Thank you Yeollie. You're the best mate ever" Baekhyun said as he stood on his tipping toes to kiss Yeol on the cheek before turning pink and running off to grab more clothes which were mostly bright and colorful.

Yeol just smiled like an idiot and admired how adorable his mate was.

He still couldn't believe he got such a wonderful mate and the way Baek was so cheerful and happy you would never suspect that he has been through hell in the past years.

For Yeol having his mate around had seemed to tame his wolf who was extremely well behaved which shocked him.

They usually only fought in the past but now they had normal conversations and admired their mate together.

"Someone pinch me because I'm definitely dreaming," Tao commented as the roommates quietly followed the couple.

"OUGHT... THAT HURT!" Tao turned to give Sehun the stink eye.

"Don't look at me like that. You're the one who asked to be pinched," Sehun responded with his usual poker face.

"It was a rhetoric request you idiot," Tao responded as he hissed at Sehun while rubbing his sore arm. Sehun's pinch hurt like a stab wound.

"Call me an idiot one more time and I will put you back in that damn sarcophagus you crawled out of and throw it in the depths of hell where no one will ever find you kitty," Sehun threatened in a low menacing tone.

"I told you not to call me kitty. I'm a full grown werecat of royalty and counting the years I was in that damn sarcophagus I'm way older than you, you idiotic fallen angel," Tao lashed out in a louder voice but low enough not to catch attention.

(for those who don't know:

Sehun was about to blow up when Lay cut him off.

"Guys, don't fight in public. Wait for the rest of us to make bets and you settle this at home." Kyungsoo laughed because Lay was only making the situation worse so he knew he had to step in.

"Guys, let's not scare off Baek. Today we are holding his welcome party so a fight at home will surely scare him off," Kyungsoo said trying to calm the pair.

"I bet $100 on Sehun," Yeol said as they finally realized the couple stood behind them.

"I also bet on Sehun", Baekhyun said before licking his strawberry ice cream.

"And why would you both bet on him. Baek I thought you liked me," Tao said with a sad face and placed his hand on his chest to symbolize his broken heart.

"I do like you but Sehun looks like a badass and he is a demon. Add that together you get badass unstoppable demon," Baek said and Yeol agreed. Sehun smirked at that response which caused Tao to sigh in disappointment.

"My baby boy is so smart," Yeol said before ruffling his hair and Baek smiled cutely with a box smile that Yeol now adored a little too much.

Everyone couldn't help but cooed at how adorable the couple was before Baekhyun dragged him to a toy store before begging for a wolf teddy.

"Yeol looks like a lovesick puppy. It's weird but I have never seen him so happy so I am happy," Kyungsoo said.

He knew Yeols struggles. They all did. Yeol didn't have memories of his early childhood.

All he remembers is that at the age of 6 he opened his eyes and Maya was there. She explained that he had been captured and she had saved him from a very bad man but he didn't remember anything.

But as the years went by he learnt there were people still after him and Maya always protected him. She was his everything and when he lost her he detached himself from his wolf and his feelings were shutdown.

Kyungsoo took him in and all he did was focus on his training and hunting.

This is why he was the best hunter alive even if he was careless and was harsh with his actions.

He never took a break but they were all happy because Baekhyun was changing all that.

No one noticed the strange pair of eyes that was watching them from a distance before he pulled out his phone and dialed a number.

"You are not going to believe what I just saw," he said before a sinister smile crossed his lips.

After packing all of Baekhyuns things in the car they all decided to go for lunch.

They all happily ate but Yeol mostly admired his mate.

"What? Is there something on my face?" Baekhyun asked when he caught Yeol staring.

"Yes. Beauty beyond words," Yeol said and his omega blushed. Everyone just smiled at their interaction but they all had to agree that Baekhyun was absolutely stunning.

"Have you ever visited or stayed in a pack when you were younger?" Baekhyun asked after admiring his mate handsome features.

"No. I moved around a lot before settling in the city but I never once stayed in a pack as far as I remember. Why?" Yeol asked.

"I don't know. You look very familiar somehow. I would know because I never forget a handsome face like yours. I think it was at a pack meet where lots of packs meet up, mix and mingle. I should have been around 13 years at the time and I'm 19 now," Baek explained.

"I'm 22 now so I was around 16 at the time. I was living here so there is no chance we could have met. I know I would have remembered you because your unforgettable," Yeol said and Baekhyun blushed.

"I'm serious Yeol," Baekhyun pouted.

"Whether we met before or not doesn't matter now that we have each other," Yeol said.

"Oh gosh I'm going to die. When did Yeol become so cheesy," Tao said and everyone laughed.

"I will be back I just need to use the restroom," Baek said before he kissed Yeol on the cheek and stood up.

"Do you need me to come with you?" Yeol asked standing up. He didn't like being separated from Baek even for a few minutes.

"It's okay Yeollie, I will be right back. Finish up your food," Yeol hesitantly sat back down at his chair.

"Don't take too long," Yeol said.

"I won't," Baekhyun said before disappearing at the back of the restaurant.

"Whipped," Kyungsoo coughed out and the whole table burst into laughter.

Yeol just glared at them but it was true. He was whipped.

Baekhyun was in the process of washing his hands when he looked into his reflection in the mirror he saw a man standing behind him. Before he could reacted a cloth covered his mouth and nose and a few seconds later everything went black as he lost consciousness.
