Jacob's PoV

Violet's head was bleeding, and her right arm was bent at an odd angle. She looked awful. Her brown hair was red in some places and she had scratches all over her.

Bri looked okay other than a bump on her head. Her eyes suddenly opened, and she groggily sat up. "Where's Violet? Is she okay? Don't tell me she's dead!" She was suddenly full of energy and seemed distressed.

Phos looked at Bri and calmly said, "Bri is not dead. We're going to take her to the infirmary and she'll be fine." Bri calmed down, so Phos called a boy named Gabe and a kid named Mitchell over. They looked a lot like her so I assumed they were her brothers- half brothers sorry. They gently placed Violet on a stretcher and took her inside. I tried to follow them, but Phos grabbed my arm and shook her head 'no.'

I shook her hand off and started to go in again, but she stepped in front of me. I looked her in the eye using my deluxe I'll-kill-you-glare. I tried, and somehow succeeded, to keep my my voice calm, "Please move. I'm going to see my sister."

She shook her head, "Jacob, no." She wasn't even being sympathetic. She was being an a- butt about it.

"Why not?" I could feel my temper rising.

"Because." Really? That's so immature.

"Don't act like a two year old. Tell me why." I'm surprised I didn't yell at her.

"Because I said so," she said like the butt she is.

"Get out of my way. Now." I pushed past her and walked to the infirmary. I looked over my shoulder and saw her face. It was priceless. She looked outraged, like no one had ever done anything against what she said.

I walked around the Big House until I found the infirmary. When I walked in and saw Gabe and Mitchell working on Violet. They saw me and waved me over. I noticed Violet looked much better. The blood was cleaned off, her head was stitched up, and her arm was in a cast.

"So she broke her arm?" I asked.

Gabe nodded. "In three places actually. Luckily there's no head damage beyond the cut on her forehead. When she wakes up she can tell us what happened. She should be ready for the quest by next week."

"She's not gong on the quest," I replied.

Mitchell looked over at me weirdly and asked "Why not? She sort of has to."

"No. She's my sister, and I said she's not going."

"Well I say if you don't shut up I'll make you leave." This is why I don't like Gabe, but I did sit down and stayed quiet.

Gabe and Mitchell finished up on Violet then left. I was left with her for a little while. "Hey Violet. I don't know if you can hear me, but I want to let you know we'll find Mom and Dad. It'll be alright. I won't let anything happen to you or the boys. I promise." After that I dozed off.

I was sent out of the infirmary with the guarantee that Violet is going to wake up today or tomorrow.

I was walking around camp when Phos walked up to me. "Hey Jacob," it was a sneer. She sneered at me.

"Yes Phos?" I said trying to stay civil. For whatever reason I didn't like her.

"Chiron wants you. I don't know why so don't ask." She turned on her heel and walked off.

I was actually glad she left since I'd have time to think on the way there. I had a conversation with myself and it sent like this.

'What does he want?' The mind asked.

'I don't know! Maybe a favor?' Was my reply.

'No he'd have another camper do it...' I reasoned.

'Violet,' my mind replied.

'Oh gods I hope she's alright,' I thought as I started running.

I walked into the Big House, but didn't see Chiron. "Chiron? Where are you? Is Violet okay?"

"Over here my boy, and your sister is fine." I heard him call from the other side of the room. I walked over to him and saw a ladder leading up to a trapdoor.

"Chiron what's up there?" I questioned. It looked weird and I'm curious.

Chiron sighed, "Memories. Lots are you mom and dad's. That's why you're going up, or at least you can go up."

I nodded then climbed up the ladder into what I assumed was the attic.

The room was full of junk and I started walking around looking at it. After awhile I noticed a lot of the labels read 'Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase ____' The ____ had the date and quest on which the object was found.

My parents had found these objects when they were my age. Some when they were younger. I felt tears coming to my eyes then thought, 'Dry it up. You're a man now. Your sister needs you. Your brothers need you.' For whatever reason thinking this made it harder not to cry.

I picked up a Minotaur horn and looked at it. It was broken at the end, and the label read 'Percy Jackson, Minotaur battle, Half-Blood Hill' So this is the horn my dad ripped off when he was twelve. I decided to keep it with me, then went down the ladder.

I talked to Chiron, and he agreed I should keep the horn. I said my thanks after our conversation and left.

Chiron had decided I can stay in the Poseidon cabin, or the Athena cabin. For some odd reason I actually chose the Poseidon cabin. It had a low roof and was covered in shells. When I walked in I smelt the ocean. There were only about ten bunks and, one of them had seagreen bedding, light blue sheets, and a white pillow with waves forming a horse. I'm guessing that's Sarah's bed. Near the window was a foutain, and it's mist, along with the light from the window, made a rainbow. In the bottom was a bunch of golden coins. I put my stuff, including the Minotaur horn, down on the other side of the room from Sarah's bed and made my bed. I did the same for the boys, but Violet's stuff was in the infirmary with her. (Some campers retrieved it for her.)

Phos came to my cabin to show me around when some girls from the Aphrodite cabin ran over squealing. I caught a few words like 'Cute' 'Dibs' 'He's mine' 'Hot' and a few other words. They all looked around my age, so I had a slight feeling they were talking about me. (A/N You have to keep in mind that this is Percy and Annabeth's son.)

I felt extremely lucky when a girl who was about an inch shorter than me, had brown hair, deep blue eyes, and a big smile covered with braces.

She smiled at me, but not in a flirtatious way. "I'm Stella Ross. I can tell you don't get along so I can take you on the tour. If you'd like."

I was about to say it's fine when Phos spoke up. "Take him. I'm a very busy person who doesn't have time for petty things or people." She, luckily, turned and walked off.

"Thank you Stella," I said.

"No prob. Now girls leave him alone." She said the last part in a way that made me want to leave. The rest of the girls walked off grumbling. "Let's get this tour started!"

She showed me all of the cabins starting with One and Two. They looked like his and her's cabins. They were for Zeus and Hera. The Poseidon cabin is cabin three. Cabin Four's roof was made of grass, and there were lots of flowers around it. It was the Demeter cabin. Cabin Five was big and red. Barbed wire wrapped around it, and kids were sharpening their weapons in the front of the cabin. They were the Ares kids. Cabin Six is the Athena cabin. It was cool architecturally, I guess, it sort of reminded me of a library. Cabin Seven was almost too bright to look at. It was gold, but other than that it looked like a normal cabin. I guess it made sense for Apollo's cabin. Artemis's cabin was Cabin Eight, and looked like Apollo's cabin but silver. Cabin Nine looks like a steam factory. It's the Hephaestus cabin. Cabin Ten is the cabin the Aphrodite girls came from. It looked like a Barbie dream house. Cabin Eleven looked like a normal old camp cabin. Note the word old. I felt sort of bad for the Hermes kids inside, but then I heard how happy they were. Strangely Cabin Twelve was a guys cabin too. Dionysius's. His cabin was pretty plain with grapevines growing on it.

Stella looked at me. "Be careful around Sarah. She is sort of...spazzy...anyways she's part of 'The Group.'"

I was confused and worried about that. I'd been in school before. "What's 'The Group'?"

"Only the weirdest girls in the camp. They're actually really funny, and they stand up to jerks like Phos and Vivian. I'll be part if it soon. There's an initiation, but you should join. Paige is their leader, but she's not bossy. It's more like she founded it and we look to her for plans. So the other members are Tally, Sarah, Kathryn, Uriah, Max, Faith, Ashton, Carly, Lily, the Stolls, Russell, Stephan Blage, Mike Blage, Carlos Blage sons of Hermes, and James. I think you should join."

"I may..." Uhhh this is weird. She already wants me in a clique.

I guess she saw a weird look on my face because she said, "I know you're probably thinking, 'Cliques? Really?!' Well that's the thing, most people hate 'The Group.' If they don't they're neutral. A bridge. Like your parents were. Paige and I are trying to make Camp Half-Blood how it was, but it's hard. That's why we're trying to get to get everyone to join 'The Group.' Then there won't be a group at all. It'll be camp how it was before Phos and Vivian ruined the camp."

"Oh. That's actually something is help with," I responded.

"Yay! Friends?" She reached her hand out to me.

I grabbed her hand and shook it, "Friends."

"Good because I wasn't taking no for an answer." She grabbed me by the arm and started dragging me, "Come on! I've got the rest of camp to show you!"
