JESSICA

I turned the shower on and felt the water sprinkling on my face. After training Yoona, I decided to take a shower since I got wet. I don't want to get sick of course. As I scrubbed myself, an image suddenly went inside my head. I heaved a sigh.

'Idiot, he just had to jump in'  I thought. I washed myself up, turned the shower off and went out of the bathroom. I quickly changed into my clothes and went out of the room. From there, I saw Taeyeon eating.

"Hey," She greeted as she continues devouring that burger of hers. Where did she got that burger anyway? I just smiled at her and directly sat at the couch. I grabbed my phone and checked some stuffs. I heard Taeyeon cough afterwards. "Why so quiet today, Sica? I'm not used to it."

"Don't mind me, Taeng. I'm just doing nothing here." I told her without removing my eyes at my phone. I then felt her sitting by my side and showed her burger in front of me.

"Want some?" She asked. I just said no to her favor then looked the other way, my eyes still gazing at my phone. I heard her groan and she started to outstretch her arms upwards. I'm still focusing on my phone. I suddenly received a message so I quickly pressed it and read it. My face went blank afterwards.

Be careful next time, Jessica. Don't make me always saving you.

"He really texted you?" I almost jumped out of shock when I heard Taeyeon speak near me. I even almost dropped my phone. I glared at her as she gave me a peace sign.

"Don't scare me like that! And yeah, your one-freak-of-a-brother just did." I told her angrily and placed my phone beside me. I heard her chuckle all of a sudden so I faced my gaze at her. I then raised a brow. "Why the sudden chuckle?"

"The both of you are so cute." She replied while smiling. I just twitched at her remark then I quickly looked in front of me. She still continues to speak. "I'm still wondering why the two of you aren't together anymore. We could have become sisters-in-law."

I became mute after she said that. I then stood up and told her that I'm going back to my room and left. After closing the door, I leaned against it. I heaved of a heavy sigh and looked up. Why am I so bothered right now?

Because of déjà vu?

FLASHBACK

I then felt myself splash at the lake. Gosh! Now I'm wet! Didn't expect that Yoona is this strong! I was about to swim upwards when I suddenly felt that my right foot was stuck. I looked down and saw it tangled with other seaweeds.

No, not again!

I tried to remove the seaweeds from my foot but doing so is just making me lose oxygen. I'm not even at the surface yet! I tried to swim instead but my foot is stuck. I kept on swimming and resisting the seaweeds around my foot but still, it didn't budge. I even swallowed some water by accident. I then felt myself drop because I'm slowly getting tired and running out of oxygen.

That's when I heard someone dive in and swam towards. Before I closed my eyes, I saw him swimming towards me. Looks like it happened again.

Kris.

I blacked out.

"Come on, come on!" I heard some muffling voices and someone pumping at my chest. I suddenly felt the water coming out of my mouth that's why I sat up and let the water go out of my mouth. I started to inhale for oxygen afterwards. I then suddenly felt someone hugging me. "Jessica! I'm glad you're awake." I slowly removed the hug to see who this person was and when my thoughts were correct, I hit on his chest and looked down.

"Why.....did you save me, again?" I then looked up to meet his gaze. I secretly chuckled inside my head. He still has that look. "I can save myself."

"Is that how you save yourself? Just swim and keep on swallowing water since you're foot was tangled in seaweed?" I let my gaze look the other way and saw Yoona beside Lay, who is healing her wounds. I then stood up and ignored Kris who was still kneeling and went to check Yoona.

"Jessica!" I heard Taeyeon said and helped me in walking, getting the attention of Yoona and the others. I just gave out a grin and patted her shoulders.

"You did good Yoona. But let's fight in a safe way next time. I don't want to get killed again." I exclaimed and she just smiled at me afterwards. When I noticed her looking behind me, I decided to walk out, Taeyeon still helping me.

"Taeng, I'm fine. You can let go of my arm now." I told her gently.

"You might regret saying that." She replied while looking at our back. My eyebrows furrowed at her so I also looked at the back. I then gave a blank expression afterwards.

"Oh, you're right." I mumbled at her and was about to walk when I felt his hand stop me by grabbing my other arm. I then looked at him and gave him a glare. He still gave me that look. Tch, pathetic.

"Noona, can you please leave us? For a moment?" He asked Taeyeon, which she quietly obeyed. As soon as she was out of sight, I let go of his hand which was holding my arm.

"What do you want to talk about Kris? We're both wet and soaked yet you still wanna talk?" I asked him as I cross my arms and raised an eyebrow at him. Yeah, I'm like this towards him and I think he got used to it. People often will just walk away or just twitched at me.

I suddenly felt myself softened for a minute when he hugged me again. Argh, you're falling for his charms again Jessica! I was about to push him away when I heard him whisper at my ear.

"Please don't make me worry like that. This is the second time you gave me that feeling. Please, Jessica. I know that you were just training Yoona but I couldn't get these feeling inside me." He slowly removed the hug but his grip is still there. He then looked at me in the eye.

"Jessica, though you're always like a damsel-in-distress, I'll always be here for you."

FLASHBACK

YOONA

"How's the training so far, Yoona? They taught you well?" Uncle Sam asked as the two of us were having our dinner. I happily nod my head since I'm still busy eating. He smiled at me and ruffled my hair. I quickly swap his hands in annoyance.

"Uncle, please not my hair." He just chuckled at what I said. We continued to eat comfortably. After that, we placed our dishes at the sink as I started to wash them. Uncle then started to speak.

"Is Kai still courting you?" I almost dropped the dish I was holding when he said that. I slowly nod at him, flustered. His look on his face still didn't change as he asked me another one. "Do you feel anything for him?"

I don't know why when suddenly an image of that person came in to my mind. Nope, it wasn't Kai. It was someone else. I just sighed and looked at him.

"Uncle, I always feel guilty whenever Kai give me those things." I then pointed at the flowers Kai just gave me awhile ago, a reward for doing my best he said. "I just don't feel the same way as he do." I added.

"Maybe time is still not in you. You will learn to like him I guess." I just remained a blank expression. Its not that easy, Uncle. "Or someone got your heart already?"

I was surprised at his words then the spoon I was holding dropped. Thank goodness it was a spoon. I picked it up and quickly washed it. I then noticed that his expression finally changed.

"So someone did." He just patted my shoulders and gave me a smile. "Its okay if you won't tell me for now. You're probably still confused with you're feelings. If you want any advice, just ask me and I'll give you." He then left. I turned the faucet off and let my hands rest at the sink as I continue to think deeply.

Why did I remember you instead of Kai?

THIRD PERSON POV

It was now very late in the night as Prince Lay decided to go out for awhile. He passed by the garden, just to see someone sitting inside it. As he took a closer look, he smiled. He then went inside and greeted him.

"Hey, Luhan." The young man looked at him and was a bit surprised.

"Lay. What's up?" He greeted him gently. Lay just gave him a thumbs up then sat beside him and they went on an eerie silence. Lay noticed that Luhan was thinking deeply by the way he was acting. It seems like Luhan was having problems on his own.

"A deep thought we're having, eh?" Luhan looked at Lay, thinking how did he know his state. He then realized that Lay's a good observer in these things. He released a sigh and looked up to see the starry night.

"Lay, how were you able to—"

"Are we going to talk about her, again Luhan?" Luhan just nod his slowly, which made Lay slump his shoulders. "I don't know if you call this moving on Luhan. I guess time just healed the pain inside me. One thing's for sure," Luhan continued to listen to Lay.

"She survived that town fire." Luhan stared at him for a few seconds and he then leaned at the bench they were sitting at.

"I know that. But you also said that she's not staying there anymore. She moved here. " Luhan continued. Lay just looked at him and smiled.

"Trust me, she's here. My cousin is here." Luhan just mumbled a 'hmm' and again they were in silence. Lay knew that Luhan loves his long-lost cousin who was also the lost princess of Carnation Kingdom. With Lay, who knew more than him, just had to wait a little longer. Its not yet the time for revelation, though the outcome is so obvious already. He just knew that Luhan was just dense.

On the other hand, Luhan is still hoping for someone to come. But right now, he's feeling confused. He is slowly falling for Yoona. He knows that. Yeah, he is hoping for that someone to one day, come before him but doesn't know if he has to give up his feelings for that person just because of Yoona.

An image of Lay's cousin then appeared on his mind, and he quietly smiled. He may be falling for Yoona, but he'll always treasure his princess.

'Princess Yoona, I will find you. And when that happens, you'll be the first person to know who my special someone is.' He quietly said to himself. He then stood up and was about to tell Lay that he has to go back to the dorm when he noticed someone walking towards the woods.

He turned around to see who this was, and by coincidence, this person also turned his head. They shared eye contact and Luhan was bewildered as he realized who it was. This person then smirked at him and turned his back on him, then suddenly disappeared into thin air.

"Luhan, where are you looking at?" He heard Lay asked but because he was still surprised, he didn't move an inch.

'Was that Kai? Where did he go?'
