"Kai! We missed you!"

"Where have you been? We've been looking everywhere for you."

"You're not even in your usual hang-out places."

"We even tried to look for you in the trees but you weren't even there-Oww!"

"Stupid! Did you really think you could find him on top trees?!"

"It was just a guess!! Pssh."

"Stop that guys. I'm really okay." Says Kai, making them look at him and the atmosphere became quiet. He then just smiled at us. "Be grateful though that I'm back to be with you guys."

"That reminds me," Seohyun suddenly said. Then she pointed at the boy beside Kai. "How come he's with you?"

"Mark helped me when I was lost. He led me back here." Kai answered. Seohyun just let out an 'ahh' then didn't talk right after. The others then blurted out questions to him.

I'm glad that Kai came back safely. Indeed I was the happiest when he suddenly appeared to me and Luhan last night. But something just seems so off.

FLASHBACK

"I missed you, Kai." I said while hugging him tightly. I really missed this guy so much! How worried was I these past few days?

"I missed you too, Yoona." I heard him say and hugged me tight too. I just smiled from behind. I then saw a man walking towards us so I slowly let go of the hug.

"Kai? Where the hell have you been?" Luhan asked as he gave Kai a manly kind of hug. "Me and the guys were looking everywhere for you." Luhan then also noticed the guy I saw awhile ago. "Mark? What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Easy there Luhan. Ask slowly so I could answer them." Kai said as he places his arm on Luhan's right shoulder. "I got lost and he helped me. It was bit of a distance so it was just so great that we met by coincidence." He explained, also pointing at this 'Mark' guy when he said his name. My eyes widen upon hearing the reason.

"You just got lost?" I exclaimed. "But you know this place since you were a kid." I added. Cause really, he always tells me about his adventures around SMTown and I'm sure he memorized each and every place here. How come he got lost?

"Well, maybe I didn't know some places here which were hidden." He said. He then walked towards Mark and slightly pushed him so we would see him clearer. That's when I realized that he's Seohyun's cousin Mark. "But I'm just glad that this guy here helped me to come back here after days of wandering around. I owe a lot to this guy." They then did a fist bump.

"Glad to be of help, hyung." Mark then replied. I unconsciously moved my head at the side a bit, looking at them with wonder. Their reasons doesn't make sense at all. But their moves convinces me. I feel something is a bit off here.

I was about to ask another question when Luhan butt in. "Its getting pretty late so we'll just tell the news to the others tomorrow. Mark, please take Kai back to the dorm, if you know?"

"Yes, I know hyung." Mark said. Luhan just nod his head at him and gazed at Kai.

"Get some rest Kai. You're probably tired." And with that, Luhan took me home.

END OF FLASHBACK

"Hey, are you okay?" I was suddenly taken back to reality when Luhan snapped his fingers near my face. I look at him and saw his eyes worried. "You're spacing out. Is something wrong?" I quickly shook my head at his question.

"No, its just nothing. Just thoughts getting in my head." I told him as my reply. He just nod at me and looked at the group of people now walking farther away from us. We walked a bit faster just to catch up with them.

"The others decided to take their lunch at the cafeteria. Wanna come?" He suddenly asked. I just waves my hand as a 'no' to him.

"Its fine. I'll just take my lunch at the garden. You go ahead. We'll meet each other later for my training." I told him and we then parted ways. I directly went inside the greenhouse and grabbed my lunch Uncle Sam made for me.

Though I'm eating my favorite food, I still can't get the fact out of my head about Kai. Him suddenly appearing just made me wonder. I just realized that he came back safely. No signs of being tired or worn out. He doesn't even feel pain anywhere.

Or am I just over-reacting?

I should be grateful that he came back fine right? That nothing bad happened to him? Why am I even thinking about these things? Aish, being a friend for that guy is bothersome. But I still care for him anyway. I then released a heavy sigh as I put another spoonful in my mouth. But I can't avoid the fact that its making me tired mentally.

"Don't you know its rude to place your elbow on the table while eating?" I almost choked on my food when I heard someone's voice talking to me. As soon as I saw my tumbler in front of me I grabbed it and drank instantly. I placed the tumbler on the table and gazed at the person who came in. I glared afterwards.

"Freak you Shawn." I told him. He just gave me a grin. He then took a seat in front of me.

"You should thank me for helping you breathe again, Yoona. You got choked up." I just rolled my eyes at his statement and continued eating. Tsk, he disturbed me and didn't even say sorry so why do I have to thank him? I have a point right?

"Heard that you already found him. Was he alright?" I gazed at him when he said that. I just gave him a thumbs up, since I'm still eating. "He wasn't hurt or anything right?"

"For some reason, he wasn't" I answered him as I swallowed on my food. "Please don't mistake me for being an awful friend to him since I'm thinking about this but isn't it weird that he suddenly came back, acting like nothing bad has happened to him?" I asked him, a bit nervous on what'll he tell me. He then placed his hand on his chin, as if thinking deeply.

"Now that you mentioned it, it does seem weird and, strange." He straightened up in his seat afterwards. "But I think you're just over thinking about this. Are you on your period now?" I blushed at his statement and threw a snow ball at him. The weather is still cold here but its not snowing. I glared at him.

"No!" I said and ducked my head low, him just laughing his butt off. Oh I could just strangle him now. Its true that I don't have it right now. But I'm starting to feel a bit of dysmenorrhea these days so I'm getting there. Gosh, I feel like I wanna puke.

"N-Nevermind about that." He stuttered cause he's still freaking laughing. He wiped his tears off his eyes then looked at me, biting his lips not to laugh. "Anyway, I was told by Tito Sam to tell you that he'll take care of the garden this afternoon since you'll be having your 'training' later." He said, emphasizing training in his sentence. I just mumbled a 'hmm' to him and finished my lunch. I stood up and placed it inside my bag and went out, feeling the cold air hitting my skin.

"You don't have any errands today Shawn?" I asked him as I saw him at my side. We just looked at the sight in front of us. Most of the flowers are starting to cover a bit, probably because of the cold weather.

"I do, they're just a few anyway. Just going to help them in their preparations for the Christmas Snow Ball. I could still come and see you train." He explained. I nod a bit at him and clutched on my necklace.

I forgot to mention that its now the second week of December, which means that every student in the academy are now preparing for their annual Christmas Snow Ball to be held this coming weekend. I still can't believe that time flew so fast and their Christmas Vacation is almost here. It also means that my Vacation from work is also coming. I could just lay down all day. Sigh.

To tell you the truth, December isn't my favorite month of the year. A lot has happened in this month, which were bad in my memory. I sighed at that thought. I don't want to remember it. I suddenly thought of mother, which caused me to smile a bit.

"Hey, what's with that sudden smile?" I heard Shawn asked me. I just shrug my shoulders at him and grabbed the broomstick.

"Anyway, go do your errands for now. We'll meet up later." I told him and started sweeping. He just nod and gave me a salute before heading out. I then looked at the flowers and smiled at it.

I remembered my mother told me that when I was still months old, we once lived in a very beautiful and peaceful place. That place was full of beautiful flowers, most were Carnations. She didn't tell me where that place was, but I do believe that it was memorable for her. I don't know why she said that the Carnation flower was the source of energy there, which explained why those are the most kinds of flowers you could see. If you could, cause I don't really remember.

Too bad that I just got to stay in that place for a few months because months before my 1st birthday, we migrated in Moon Kingdom. Up until now, I don't know the reason why we had to move.

I shook my head at that thought and focused myself upon sweeping.

"Ready for your training?" Jessica asked me. I just nod at her in return. She then did a fighting pose and so did I. Taeyeon unnie said that the training will be about how I will use my powers for fighting. I don't know if this was necessary but I had to anyway. I might spoil Jessica's fun activity today. Like yesterday, Luhan, Shawn, Tiffany and Taeyeon unnie came to watch. But this time, Kai is also here. All of them are at the side, just a distance away from us. Jessica then stated the rules.

"For now, we'll fight using the powers of ice and snow since the weather also agrees."

After she said that, gusts of cold wind came. That's when I realize that Tiffany just made the place snow. I know that she's just making an illusion to fit our kind of fight but I couldn't ignore the fact that it looks and feels real. So real its making me have goosebumps. But I just shrug that thought away and focus. "Okay, Jessica." I told her. She then charged towards me.

She formed her hands infront of her and threw ice spikes at my direction. I quickly made an ice barrier to shield myself. I quickly ran towards the side as she continue to throw ice spikes at me. As soon as I found an open space where I could hit her, I quickly formed a snow ball with spikes and threw it towards her. It was too late when she noticed my attack. She just grinned at me.

"You're good." I just smiled at her statement. I was then surprised when she just ran towards me and released a big wave of snow, making me go backwards and hit a tree. "But you're still a bit of an amateur." I heard her afterwards. I could just describe Jessica in four words: As cool as ice.

"Don't hurt her that much Jessica! She's still training!" Tiffany shouted, making Jessica look at her.

"I won't! Don't worry! I can be soft!" She shouted back. I grinned secretly. A chance! I thought and charged at her, releasing the same big wave of snow and it successfully hit her. She was dragged backwards with her arms crossed to shield herself. "Tsk!" She cussed. Before she could give me another attack, I charged ice balls towards her and created giant and thick snowflakes that has the size of one round table.

Her eyes were wide open in surprise as soon as the ice balls hit her. As soon as I threw the giant snowflake at her, she made an ice barrier around her but she was still dragged backwards as the snowflake hit her before it bursts into snow. Jessica then removed her ice barrier around her and without a thought, released gusts of snow towards me. I had to cover my eyes with my arm because of the snow. I then formed my hands to create a gust of snow and directly charged it to Jessica, who also did the same.

Our gusts of snow hit each other, making a very great impact which almost blew us away but because the two of us were strong enough to handle it, we stood still. I then used two hands to create a greater impact, but Jessica also did the same. I could just feel the cold wind getting stronger, blowing my hair. The both of us were so focused and were slowly adding strength on each of our attacks, until it created one big cold explosion, making the two of us fly away. Jessica landed in the lake, while I was about to land at some trees I think.

I closed my eyes tight, getting ready for this great impact, until I felt someone hugging me, making me land on that person instead. The both of us rolled until we hit a log, making me go on top of this person who is still hugging me. I opened my eyes just to see the grass again. It just so means that Tiffany removed her illusion already. I slowly lift my head to see who just caught me. My eyes widen to see who it was.

"Are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?" I shook my head slowly at his questions. The both of us slowly let go of each other and stood up.

"I'm fine." I just told him. I didn't notice him going in front of me and lifted my chin to meet his eyes. He then smiled.

"Good. I'm glad that you are. The both of us still need to get married." I blushed at his statement and hit him on his chest real hard. He just laugh it off. Okay, that wasn't funny! It was so damn cheesy. So cheesy I want to puke. That just made me realize that he's still courting me. Ugh.

"Kai! Yoona! Are you two alright?" The both of us looked at Taeyeon unnie, who is now running towards us. I noticed Luhan and Shawn behind her. I placed my one hand at the side of my mouth to shout louder.

"Yeah! We're alright!" I said and Taeyeon unnie stopped running, since she caught up with us. But her eyes were wide open upon seeing my arm.

"Its bleeding." She muttered. I looked at it and saw blood coming out. How come I didn't notice this? The injure wasn't that big, but the blood's flowing very fast. "We have to get Lay to heal you."

"No, I'm fine-"

"No, you're not." I was then surprised when Luhan suddenly grabbed my other arm and dragged me towards Lay who just came. The rest just followed us. He was surprised upon seeing my other arm bleeding but looked at Luhan first. "Heal her Lay." Luhan seriously told him.

"I know Luhan." And with that, Lay grab hold of bleeding arm and in a matter of seconds, the injury stopped bleeding until it was completely gone. I thanked him afterwards.

"Jessica!" Our attention was then at Taeyeon unnie who was helping Jessica in walking. She was wet all over but she still managed to give me a grin and patted on my shoulder.

"You did good, Yoona. But let's fight in a safe way next time. I don't want to get killed again." I just smiled at her. I then noticed that Kris was just behind her, and he was also wet. Did he save her from drowning? I secretly just shrug it away. My gaze accidentally went at Luhan, who was just looking at me seriously. I gulped a bit afterwards.

Why is he looking at me like that?
