Chapter 3: The Truth Is Revealed

Gohan's P.O.V

Despite my efforts to apologize to Tania, the girl took off flying away in anger. I sighed. Now you've done it Gohan; Now I made Tania mad at me...

"There you are! Gohan!" I hear Krillin call out to me from behind.

I turned around to see Trunks with him. They stopped in front of me.

"Gohan, Where were you?! We were searching all over for you." Trunks panted a little.

"Tania and I went with Vegeta and Broly to Planet Todokama to see if the legendary super saiyan would be there." I explained to my two friends.

"Oh... Well, Trunks and I had made a dis-" Krillin then paused and cocked his head to the side with a confused expression. "Vegeta let you and Tania come along with him?"

"Not exactly..." I answer while rubbing the back of my head, remembering what actually happened. "Tania had snuck in and I found her inside the spaceship."

"Let me guess, you decided to come along to protect Tania from danger, huh?" Krillin snickered.

I raised my eyebrow. "Yeah; Why is it so funny?

Before Krillin could answer, Trunks interrupted and reminded Krillin that they needed to tell me something important.

"Oh yeah. Gohan you need to come with us right away! Thankfully Paragas has offered to have dinner. There is some friends we would like to introduce to you." Krillin insisted.

I nodded my head. "Alright."

We then flew south.

"I thought you said Tania was with you. Where is she?" Questioned Trunks.

I narrowed my eyes sadly. "Tania went somewhere else. We got into an argument and she got upset with me."

Tania's P.O.V

I began walking up the stairs with Broly, Vegeta, and father. All Vegeta was doing was complaining about how the dangerous saiyan was nowhere to be found. As we continued walking up the steps, I saw Goku sitting on the ledge of one of the windows.

"Hey Vegeta and Tania." Gohan's father greeted us. I smiled and stopped to say hello.

"I don't remember you on the guests list." Vegeta says with a slight smile after stopping when I stopped.

"Aw come on Vegeta; It's not like your having any luck finding the super saiyan." Goku replies with an innocent smile.

"Broly, do you believe that we could find this saiyan that's been doing a lot of damage to the galaxies?" I whispered into my older brother's ear while Goku and Vegeta continued on with their chit-chat.

He didn't reply and instead clenched his fists and glared coldly at Goku after Vegeta left.

Goku had hopped off his seat and returned the look my brother was giving him. I stepped back with a confused expression. It feels like those two have a score to settle. However, i'm positive this is the first time they even saw one another... What's the deal then?

Soon enough, a still very drunk Master Roshi, holding onto Oolong's ears came rushing to father demanding that he prepared a ship so that he could leave since he didn't enjoy being on New Vegeta anymore.

"That's Roshi!" Goku exclaimed before turning his attention back to Broly. Soon brother had calmed down.

"Good, because I should also mention that this little kingdom is all dumb! All the palaces are alright, but what about the rest of it? It's boring! You need a video store, magazines or something!" Roshi expressed while balancing with one foot with a screaming Oolong still in his grip.

I laughed after seeing Paragas getting annoyed.

I then felt my stomach growling. "Oh no, i'm hungry..."

"Now that you mentioned it, i'm pretty hungry myself." Goku says after hearing his own stomach growling. Dad came over to us with Master Roshi still complaining about every little thing.

"Are you hungry Tania?" Dad asked; I nodded. "Yeah, I haven't eaten anything since the picnic."

"If you go into the dining room down the hall to your right, you will be able to eat as much as you like." He informed me before turning his attention to Goku. "And you! Didn't you just eat a couple hours ago?"

Goku rubbed the back of his head laughing innocently. "Yeah, but my stomach has a mind of its own sometimes. Honest."

"It's true father. Goku has a very hopeless stomach and his appetite is skyrocketed off the charts." I tell my dad with a smile. Gohan's father's eyes widened a bit. "Paragas is your f-father?!"

I nodded and laughed. "Yes, I forgot to tell you that."

"B-But how do you know for sure?!"

"It's a long story Goku." I answer.

Dad just grinned and told us it was okay for Goku to eat again, before him and Broly went their own way.

"So Goku, how did the interview go?" I asked after finishing my 43rd plate.

Goku kept eating, but froze when I mentioned the interview.

"ChiChi's gonna kill me when I get back!" He yelled in fear. "I had to go to King Kai's midway through the interview!"

I fell out my chair then got back up and shouted, "You're kidding?!"

Goku shook his head, sweat running down his face. "I'm serious! King Kai had to inform me about the legendary super saiyan..."

"I sure am glad i'm not you right now." I confess, feeling sorry for the spiky hair saiyan. "Otherwise, I would be the dinosaurs dinner."

Goku clapped his hands together. "Wait, I Know! You can talk to ChiChi for me and tell her what happened!"

"Me?!"

Goku smiled. "Yes, why not? ChiChi is a lot nicer to you."

"Do I look like i'm trying to get knocked out cold with a frying pan to you?! I'm not doing it! That's suicide! Ask Gohan to do it, he's your son!" I reply, getting panicky just thinking about confronting ChiChi with Goku's lack of presence.

Gohan's dad then got onto his knees with his fingers intertwined, giving me sad puppy dog eyes. "Gohan's not really good with that; Please, if you do this for me, i'll repay you a favor. It could be anything. Really!"

"Anything, huh?" I repeat, an idea coming into my mind. Goku gulped then nodded.

"Tania?!" I hear Gohan's voice down the hall. "Tania! Are you here?! I need to tell you something very important!"

I sighed. Now what does he want? Doesn't Gohan know I don't want to be bothered by him right now? Geez...

Before Gohan got to the dining room, I noticed Goku slowly crawling away from me.

"Uh-Uh! Where do you think your going Mr. 'If you do me this one favor, i'll repay you'?"

Goku shrieked. "D-Don't mind m-me; I was just um..."

The door then opened. Gohan was relieved to see me. "Good, I found you." The hybrid then saw his father and was surprised. "D-Daddy? When did you get here? And why are you crawling on the floor?"

"It's a long story son." Goku chuckled. He then picked himself up and told us that he was gonna go to sleep. On his way out, he took with him about fifteen more plates of food before heading to another room.

I glanced at Gohan, sighed, then began to walk out the room into the hallway.

"Hey Tania, wait up!" He shouted as he catched up to me. I ignored him and continued my stroll. Gohan then jumped over my head and landed a couple feet in front of me.

"What do you want?!"

"Look, i'm very sorry for hurting your feelings Tania, but something is definitely off about this planet! Krillin, Trunks, and I found these helpless creatures that we think Paragas forced to create some sort of illusion to this planet." Gohan quickly informed me.

This made me even more mad and annoyed than before. "So now Krillin and even Trunks is in on this whole lie."

Gohan's face soften. "You think i'm lying to you?"

"Well i'm not saying your being honest." I replied, rolling my eyes in annoyance. "I think that your just being really insensitive! The actual time I meet my real family, you think they're up to something!"

Gohan lowered his eyes to the floor, his bangs covering over them. "If that's how you really feel Tania... Then i'll just leave you alone."

I didn't say anything as he went into the same room as his father did. I felt a little bad about what I said, but I brushed the feeling off and flew out one of the windows.

I flew to a spot next to a huge lake. The water was reflecting the moon's bright light. I layed on the grass and stared at the starry night sky in deep thought.

The way father built this place for Vegeta is absolutely breathtaking. It must've taken him most of his life just to build this. It would've been such a disappointment if Vegeta wouldn't have agreed to be their king. All that hard work put to waste.

I sat up and looked at my reflection on the water.

I wonder... do I really belong here? Is this new life i'm having a lie or not? Everything is just so... bizarre. It's been a long while since i've been at this place that i've adjusted to. Man, everyone I have met are really special to me...

My thoughts then drifted to Gohan.

How did I just end up in the woods when I first came here and what was Gohan even doing before he found me? If I had to take a random guess, I would say that he was probably ditching his studies to go and get some fresh air. ChiChi sure does make him study for hours. I'm just glad that she doesn't make me study for that long. After i'm done with my homework, I just sneak into Gohan's room and throw paper airplanes at him for fun. But that's not the point...

This whole legendary super saiyan thing is really bugging me. Who is the saiyan that's causing such destruction? I know it can't be Broly or father. They're not even stronger than I am. I don't think they can even turn into a super saiyan yet. I wish I knew the truth behind all of this stuff...

I heard explosion noises from behind. I leaped into the sky without hesitation when I saw something coming my way quickly. What the heck was that?!

"Tania!"

"Goku?!" I respond after witnessing what happened. "What are you trying to do?! Kill me?!"

"No! Look behind you." The saiyan ordered.

My eyes widened when I saw my brother at the center of the lake. His power was drastically increasing with every passing second and he had a enormous aura surrounding him. "B-Broly?"

"Die Kakarot!" I hear Broly say before speeding towards Goku and I.

I moved to the side while Goku flew up, with Broly giving chase. Goku then kicked Broly in the face, much to my horror. However, brother just looked at Goku, blood sliding down the corner of his mouth with a soft expression before switching that look with a smirk. He then licked the blood off his face. I was disgusted. "That's just nasty!"

Goku took it worse than I did. "Eww! That was completely unnecessary! Disgusting! Guah!"

Broly proceeded to throw energy blasts at his opponent. Goku managed to dodge them, but they all came down towards me. I saw Goku flying to me. He grabbed my arm and flew out of the ki blasts way. While holding onto me, Broly appeared in front of us.

"No Goku! Don't hurt him!" I yelled, after watching Gohan's dad punch Broly in the face.

I then realized that Goku's attack didn't faze Broly one bit. It looked like he didn't even feel it at all! Brother then roared; His power increasing far higher, giving me a huge shock.

"That's the energy I was following!" Goku stated.

There's no way... No! Broly can't be the saiyan who's been destroying everything!

"Broly!" I shout, running up to my out of control brother. "Broly, please calm down! You're too out of control brother! Please stop!"

"Tania! Get away from him now!" Goku attempted to warn me.

I didn't listen and continued to bring my brother to his senses. Broly was about to attack even me, when suddenly, dad appeared and held this device up at brother, causing him to stop his attack.

"Broly stop! Cut this out son! I command you!" Dad demanded. Goku also tried to tell brother to listen to his father, but all Broly did was continue laughing like a crazed maniac!

"Stop! Stop it Broly! NOW!" Father commanded, still holding that device at his son.

A few seconds later, brother had powered down and returned back to normal. I watched in shock as father instructed Broly to go back to the palace.

The two left and I was frozen where I was standing. There's no reason to deny it any l-longer... Broly...

"He's the one Tania." Goku concluded with a serious tone. "The legendary super saiyan."

Goku walked up to me and rested his hand on my shoulder. "I'm sorry..."

I slapped his hand off of my shoulder and took off to the sky full speed, heading back to the palace to get some sleep in my comfortable king-sized bed. This all has to be a dream! It has to be! My sweet older brother isn't a murderer!

I heard birds chirping. Opening an eye, it was revealed to be morning. Getting out of bed, I observed the outside world. I took a deep breath and warmly smiled. Everything seems to be perfectly fine! I knew I was just having a horrible nightmare.

"Argh! How long is this gonna take for you idiotic fools to find the super saiyan?!" I hear Vegeta with my sensitive hearing. I saw that father and brother was with him too, heading towards the ship we all came in.

Without hesitating, I jumped out my window, with my regular gi on and flew over to the three. I landed right next to Broly while father ran in front of the prince of saiyans.

"My lord... We found him. We should be able to pinpoint his location by tomorrow at the latest." Dad claimed sounding exhausted.

Vegeta growled and kept walking, telling Broly to hurry along. I noticed that Broly was then becoming bothered by something. That's when I heard Goku suddenly speaking to Vegeta in the spaceship we were approaching. He asked if the prince was in there and that he was tired of waiting on him. Goku's stomach began to growl and after a few moments of silliness, he got serious.

"Vegeta, you don't have to go anywhere. The super saiyan you're looking for is right here."

I lowered my eyes and clenched my fist. No... This isn't happening...

"Paragas, why don't you tell Vegeta here that Broly is the legendary super saiyan?" Goku questioned my father. He then looked at me. "Tania knows it too!"

"Say what?!" Vegeta yells. Father then tried to convince the prince that everything that he was hearing was completely false and that Broly was even weaker than he was. He then suggested that everyone should return to the palace. I stood in place not really knowing what I should do.

"Father!" Trunks screams as he flew to our destination. "Don't listen to him! This so called Planet Vegeta is nothing but a fake! An illusion..."

Trunks pointed his finger out to the lands. "Just look at that! Ruins! He didn't build this for you. Paragas twisted everything you see here, using these disadvantaged people. They'll tell you everything!"

Gohan and Krillin came to us holding the people Trunks was talking about. I could feel an overwhelming fear building up inside of me.

"This cannot be true!" I yell out suddenly, catching everyone's attention. I jumped over to the little people who were by Gohan. "Please little one... The tall man with the black, long, spiky hair wasn't the one causing chaos, was he?"

The little kid I was talking to looked up and gasped, pointing his finger at Broly. "That's him! That's the one who destroyed our home planet!"

"You tricked me!" Vegeta had responded quickly afterwards. Father then insulted Vegeta before explaining how he set everything up. I slid down to my knees as I listened to every word he said. I noticed Gohan staring at me with sympathetic eyes. Deciding to find out more, I hopped up to the cliff father was standing on.

"Why father?! Why would you choose this planet for your plan?!" I asked.

He laughed evily. "I chose this planet because in a short few hours, it will collide with Comet Camori; An astronomical object of colossal proportion!"

Paragas slowly backed up to Broly. "And when you're gone, I will rule the earth or any planet will go completely uncontested."

"Dad, you don't want to really do that..."

"Of course that's what I want Tania!" Father spat irritated. "Now why don't you be a good little girl and stay out of daddy's business!"

Gohan gritted his teeth after hearing my father talk to me like that. Suddenly, Broly muttered "Kakarot." and began to walk forward, transforming into a super saiyan while doing so, despite father's orders to stop.

"No... I don't think so; This saiyan is mine!" Vegeta speaks, before turning into a super saiyan himself. I watched in awe as Vegeta had kicked my brother on the neck, but with no affect at all. Broly continued walking towards Goku in a creepy way.

"Whoa, Vegeta's attack was like nothing to him." Goku stated just before jumping back a few feet. "Lets get something straight! Some friends call me Kakarot, but i'm Goku, and you're not my friend."

Paragas burst out into laughter. "Well, I may not have to wait after the comet to see you die! Seems Broly has other plans for you. Broly attack!"

The device dad was holding onto had begun to glow a purple color. I felt Broly's power increase. Vegeta formed an energy ball in his hand and ascended into the air.

"Vegeta No! STOP!" I scream just as the saiyan released his attack. I raised my arms over my head as the blast had made its impact on Broly's back. I saw father being blown back from the intensity it created.

When the smoke cleared, it was revealed that brother was not hurt. He didn't even have a scratch on him! The only thing that Vegeta was able to do was get brother more angry. The super saiyan began to roar and his power level began rising exponentially. The whole ground began to shake uncontrollably as if it was experiencing a huge earthquake.

I jumped in front of Broly in great concern. "Broly, stop it! Please stop this madness or the whole planet will be destroyed!"

My plan had seemed to work and Broly relaxed. However, after about five seconds, Broly let out a powerful shout and his power just exploded and a greenish light emerged from his body, completely consuming him in a blinding light. I covered my eyes since I was the closest to him. The wind began to blow roughly and I could hear mountains ripping apart. I could also feel the atmosphere getting very heavy too.

I opened my eyes and was immediately shell shocked. My brother... He looks like a m-monster right now...

Brother's ki was amazing! His body had gotten very big and he was a few feet taller than before. I was about half his height and i'm only 5'5 or 5'6. Just looking at my brother's transformed shape scared me. I could tell that Vegeta was terrified too. He was trembling as he landed on the cliff on his knees.

"He's the one... The saiyan of legend." Vegeta panted.

"B'Broly, is that r-really you?!" I questioned my brother as he glared down at me.

"Why don't you just die along with Kakarot, you annoying little nuisance!" The powered up saiyan smirked at me evilly before he kicked me in the gut.

"Tania!" Gohan shouted as he jumped onto the cliff and catched me. "You'll pay for what you did to her!"

Broly shot towards Goku, Gohan, and I at a blinding speed. Goku had pushed us out of the way then grabbed onto our hands, taking flight. Broly chased after us and Goku had accidentally let go of me. Broly went after me and shot a ki blast that was way too close for me to dodge. I began to fall to the ground.

"Dad! Let go of me!" I hear Gohan shout. The hybrid then came to my rescue and catched me in his arms before I landed to the harsh ground.

"Tania, are you alright?" He asks as he shook me. I became a bit frustrated, but worried for my brother. "I'm fine, Gohan. I was just caught off guard unfortunately. I'm sorry for not believing you earlier. I just wanted everything to turn out good for me..."

Gohan grinned as he let me float on my own. "It's alright Tania, I forgive you."

"Look out!" Trunks shouted to Gohan and I. We looked ahead to see Broly coming towards us. Gohan took my hand and began flying away from my brother as fast as he could. Broly launched more attacks, but somehow we managed to escape from each one of them. Soon, we made it back to Goku, who unfortunately got blasted with an energy blast that quickly set him on fire. Gohan and I hurried and got out the flames before they could do any harm.

Broly stopped in front of us and roared. Again, he threw energy attacks and I was seperated once more from Gohan and Goku. Luckily, Trunks was with me and helped me escape from Broly's rampage of assaults. When Broly came very close to me, I ducked his punch and went under him.

Broly shot a strong energy blast where all those friendly aliens were and murdered them. I looked down at the scene as each one of them screamed in pain. Broly began to laugh while I was getting furious with him. He may be related to me by blood, but he sure as heck is not the brother I had gotten to know! He's a psychopath!

"If you wish not to fight back, I understand; But I am going to destroy this planet no matter what!" Brother vowed to himself.

"No you won't!" Goku retorted, continuing to turn into a super saiyan. Gohan and Trunks joined him. I descended to the ground and chose to fight as well. I raised up my ki and transformed into a super saiyan too. "Let's get this started brother!"

"As you wish..." Brother replies. The bulky super saiyan came rushing towards us, stopping at nothing. Goku attempted to punch Broly, but was too late as Broly had already elbowed Goku in the face. He then kicked me in the side, punched Gohan in the chest, and kicked Trunks in the back.

We all then began to fly away from the monster as fast as we could. It felt like the chase went on for a long time. We all finally decided to stop. Brother also did the same.

"You think four on one will do any good?" Do you really believe you have enough power to defeat me?" He asked Trunks, Gohan, Goku, and I.

"Broly, you really surprised me, so i'd say you've won the first round, but now it's time for round two." Goku announced.

I heard a loud ruckus and looked behind Broly to observe Master Roshi falling on his face. A whole bunch of little aliens then landed on top of him. Oolong had rolled in front of Broly and squealed when he got a look at him. He climbed on top of everyone and began running in place on the top of Krillin's waxed head. "RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! HE HAS ME IN SOME KIND OF TRANTO BEAM! I CAN'T MOVE!"

"Uhh, hey Krillin." Gohan greeted our friend.

"What's up? And where's Master Roshi?" Goku questioned.

Master Roshi had shaken all the aliens off of him and stood in place."All right, i'm here, i'm here."

The turtle hermit had gotten pretty serious. "Thought you could use some of my help. So..."

In an instant, Master Roshi had buffed up, tearing off the shirt he had on. I watched him in wonder.

"Roshi?" Goku says.

"Broccoli... Just give it up! It's all over!" Roshi suggested. I sweat dropped after hearing him pronouncing Broly's name as Broccoli. And here I was thinking that Master Roshi was being serious for once.

The old man began to show off some moves before taking out a mask and playfully making faces with it. Oolong hurried and kicked Roshi to the side. "Sorry, next show is at 11:00."

"Hey uh Goku, I think he's a little sick from our flight over here." Said Krillin.

Broly had noticed the little aliens that was behind Krillin. "Oh look. The little slaves have decide to be brave."

Brother turned back around and looked at the sky. "I noticed that you love to look up at the sky at your silly old planet. You're probably dreaming you could go back there some day..."

An energy ball then formed in his hand. "But, it's just a dream!" He shouted as he released the attack towards the aliens then to the sky, aiming towards their planet.

"I WON'T LET YOU BLOW UP THEIR PLANET BROLY!" I yell, jumping in front of my brother's attack to everyone's surprise. The blast hitted me straight on.

"TANIA!" Goku and Gohan shouted as they saw me hit the ground. Blood apparent on my face and body. I was still in my super saiyan form, but after a few seconds, I dropped back to my normal form.

Gohan held my head up. "Tania, what were you thinking?! Why did you do that!"

The others gasped when they saw me cough out a little blood, worrying them and Gohan a great deal. "Those p-people need a place t-to go home to. I know how t-they feel... T-To be stuck in a planet your n-not familiar with, just w-wishing you could r-return someday."

For that one moment, I saw Gohan have a few tears in his eyes. He didn't let them loose, but I saw them slightly. After a few moments, I had completely blacked out.
