Trollstopia AU

One day Poppy is just walking through Trollstopia enjoying her morning. The sun is high,bright and warm as it warms the trolls nicely with it's heat. Cool light breezes blow through cooling everyone down. There are few clouds floating around up in the beautiful blue sky.

Queen Poppy smiles as she walks pass her fellow trolls. She spots Barb as she slowly walks. Barb is talking to Val near one of their Rocker Caterbus. Poppy decides to greet her two Rock troll friends since she is in such a good mood like she usually is.

" Hey Barb. Hi Val. ", Poppy happily greets.

Val and Barb stop talking when they heard Poppy's voice. They smile as they turn to see the Pop Queen waving at them. Val just waves back as Barb folds her arms while she greeted her best friend.

" Hey Pipsqueek. ", Barb greets chill.

The Pop troll continues walking forward after passing her two Rock troll friends. As she walks she soon spots another one of her friends. It is Guy Diamond with his son,Tiny. The family members happily see Poppy as well so they happily greet her when they walk

" Hi Poppy. ", Guy Diamond greets in autotoon.

" What's up,Aunty Poppy?", Tiny calls out happily.

" Hi guys! Just taking a walk.",Poppy replies happily.

As Poppy talks to the two trolls she continues to slowly walk pass them. Moments later the Queen is still on her walk. She is in a different part of Trollstopia admiring it. Trollstopia looks so glorious to her. In that moment her mind starts drift away from Trollstopia to something else or rather someone when she sees some trolls carrying firewood,blue cupcakes and some leaf like decorations. The random trolls just walk away not noticing at all. Who is the Troll Poppy is now wondering about? It's none other Branch.

The Queen stops in her tracks slowly as she thinks about the man she's in love with. Poppy and Branch are not dating but,she wished they were or at least know that he felt the same way. Their is a bit complicated. They subtly semi - flirt with each other with their banter but, yet they would call each other their best friend. Their relationship is different from everyone else. The pink troll is so lost in her thoughts at this point that she doesn't notice DJ Suki coming towards her.

" Hey girl! Did you get lost?", DJ Suki says playfully and a little chill mannerly.

Poppy snaps back to reality when she heard DJ's voice. She turns around confused then it fades away when she sees her friend. DJ is one of Poppy's closest friends. The Royal smiles friendly at her friend.

" Oh hey DJ. Have you seen Branch by any chance?", Poppy says.

" Yeah I did... I saw him doing his Survival classes at the Squish Ball course. He might still be there. ", DJ says honestly.

" Thanks Suki. I'll see you later. ", Poppy says happily.

Then Poppy runs off to Branch's morning class happily. Soon the Queen is close to the Squish Ball course but, then she decides to do some Branch watching as he teaches. Poppy watches Branch in awe and love struck from the bushes quietly. Her spying on her handsome Best friend is in a non - creepy way of course. It's more like a loving and shy spying secret admirer manner.

The class had just ended and most of the students are leaving. Branch smiles happily then starts wiping the board. The students happily chatter as almost all of them leave. A beautiful troll named "Lady Stella" smiles at Branch innocently while holding in her fangirling as she puts her stuff in her bag. Lady Stella is wearing a pretty green dress and leaf shaped earrings. Lady Stella is a fangirl of Branch like lots of other girls in Trollstopia are.

The fangirl slowly walks over to Branch as he turns around. He notices that she is still here. Stella smiles at him happily. Branch finds nothing wrong with her actions. He has met a bunch of his fangirl before and Stella is one of them that doesn't go crazy.

" That was an amazing class. ", Lady Stella says honestly and happily.

Back in the bushes, Poppy sees Stella talk to Branch but, can't hear everything she is saying. Poppy couldn't properly hear what Branch was saying either. She sees and hears Lady Stella laugh at something Branch had just said. Then she just straight out hugged Branch which didn't sit well with the Pop Queen. She growls jealously as she sees Stella touch Branch's subtle she and Branch blushes out of discomfort and surprise at Lady Stella.

This caused Poppy to feel both jealous and yet also heartbroken at the sight! The Queen has no context with the actions but, she believes that she is losing Branch to another woman who seems to see something in Branch like she does.

" Okay, I'll see later. Bye Lady Stella. ", Branch greets calmly and friendly.

" Bye Branchie. ", Lady Stella greets back happily.

Twelve hours pass in Trollstopia which is experiencing the night at this moment. Branch is in Lady Stella's pod fixing her leaking pipes. She had asked him after class to fix it for her since the guy she hired to do it earlier cancelled on her. When Poppy thought Stella was flirting with Branch she actually talking about the pipe problem. The whole thing was more innocent than it looked!

The blue troll tighten the last pipe properly with his tool fixing the problem easily. Growing up an orphane and alone he learnt to do all these things by himself since he was always relaying on himself than other trolls during his Grey days...

" And done!", Branch exclaims happily.

The handy troll removes his tool from the pipes then gets up and closes the pod flooring like nothing happened. Stella smiles at Branch happily. She was really tired of hearing the sound of water drops at night! It would keep her up til she grabbed her noise canceling headphones in annoyed.

" Thanks Branch. That leak has been bothering me for days. ", Stella says happily.

" It's no problem. I should get going. See you tommorw. ", Branch says kindly.

" I will. Enjoy your night. ", Stella greets back kindly and innocently.

Then Branch leaves the pod as his mind drifts back to a certain pink troll. The blue troll slowly walks on the tree branch he is on. He hadn't seen Poppy all day actually. It was bothering him honestly. He didn't know if she was just busy or something happened. Something didn't feel right about her absence from his day. It worried him...

" Maybe I should go to Poppy's pod and check on her...", Branch says to himself.

Luckily for him Poppy's pod isn't too far away so he reaches in minutes. When he walks up to the door he let's out a nervous breath then knocks on the door. Poppy knew it was him since he was one of the few trolls who knocked on her door. The Pop Queen had a open door policy you could say. No matter how upset Poppy was she wouldn't leave him outside so she just opens the door.

" Hey Poppy. Can I come in?", Branch says.

Poppy does her best to act like nothing wrong. She didn't want to act like a bad or rude and jealous but, she couldn't push away her feelings just like that. Branch could tell something was wrong as he came inside. He knows for a fact that sometimes she hides her feelings despite how expressive she is. Now Branch is inside standing in front of Poppy with a worried look on his face.

" Are you okay? You seem a little off... You that you can tell me anything right?", Branch says concerned.

" No,everything is fine.", Poppy denies trying to sound convincing.

Branch just gives her a blankly serious look. She wasn't convincing enough. Branch's look breaks Poppy since he unknowingly had the power to go through her like nobody else. Poppy knew she couldn't keep it inside anymore...

" Well...Earlier I saw you talking with this girl after your Survival class. She seemed to get really chummy with you... Who is she?", Poppy asks bothered and subtly.

Branch is confused at first but, he realizes that she talking about Stella. Branch didn't know Poppy was there or that she would be bothered by Stella. It almost like she is jealous which surprised and confused Branch. Why would Poppy be jealous?

" Oh that was just Lady Stella. She was one of those fangirls who joined my class. She was telling me about leak problem and wanted me to fix it for her...", Branch explains truthfully.
