Ok so I went to this ramen shop called IPPUDO and they only had 3 items on the menu. One of the items was named the "Akamaru ramen". I just thought this was funny because ya know... Akamaru in Naruto. Any ways, Akamaru means "red circle" in Japanese so that would explain the red rim of the bowl.
