Friend: Chapter Four Very Real Problems
I left the classroom, and I went right over to my locker to drop off my things for lunch. I decided to take my time, so I just put my things away and grabbed a book, The Mysteries of Dar. I began to walk to the cafeteria, but I heard the faint sound of voices.
"Why don't you run over back to your mommy? Oh wait... YOU CAN'T! Hahaha!"
"Stop! Go away, you jerks!"
"Make us!"
"Please..."
"Why don't you pick up your not so pretty little a-" I saw what was going on. There were three wolves, two bigger than one. One of the big wolves was a dark gray with amber eyes. The second was black with green eyes. I looked at the small wolf. She was an off-yellow, with pretty blue eyes. She reminded me of desert grasses, with an oasis.
"First of all, grass. Second of all, go ahead and leave her alone." I said bravely. Mother, look at me now. I thought. The small wolf looked at me gratefully.
"Make us, you freak." The black one said. I was not a freak. My fur had grown more tan, and I had light blue eyes.
"Leave." I said, stepping closer. My hackles raised, and I bared my teeth.
"Uh, let me think- NO." The dark gray one howled.
"Leave." I growled, low and furious. I stalked toward them. They actually looked afraid. I won't actually hurt them. I must scare them off. I thought. I went closer, and the two bullies yelped and ran. I immediately got up, and ran to the small yellow wolf. "Are you okay?" I asked, worried.
"Y- yeah. Tha- thanks. My name is Angel. A- Angel Parks." She said, stuttering. I sat down next to her.
"It's fine. They're gone. I'm Lily Silvers." I said. Angel smiled up at me. "Come on, Angel. Wanna go to lunch?" I asked. Angel nodded eagerly. I decided to lighten up the mood. "You know what? Bullies are grass holes. Like literal holes of grass. They are just there, a hole with grass lining the sides; useless and stupid." We laughed, and we went to go have our lunch- together.
