Squirrelflight

Squirrelflight has always been one of my favorite characters. I have to admit though, I don't like that she hid the whole Leafpool kit scandal from everyone, especially from Brambleclaw. I reaaaallllyyyy think that at least he deserved to know and I really don't understand why Squirrelflight was so against letting him be in on it.

But besides that, I really like Squirrelflight. Her character development is absolutely amazing, and she is a character I enjoy reading about. When she was an apprentice, she was a little annoying, but she was also so spunky and hilarious, and also incredibly brave and determined. We really get to see her grow throughout The New Prophecy, and by Sunset I think she is a very mature warrior (still with some spunk though😂).

She also is incredibly loyal to her family members. She is very caring of Firestar, Sandstorm, and especially Leafpool. While the choice of hiding the fact that the kits were Leafpool's from certain cats was a little stupid, she did it all for her sister, which I think is incredible.

Once Firestar is killed and Brambleclaw becomes leader and chooses her as deputy, I don't think he could've made a better choice. While I do think it was a little biased of him because of their past, she definitely is a very brave, strong, and trustworthy warrior who was worthy of being deputy.
