Firestar

Firestar has made it into every single top 10 Warrior Cats book I have made, and there are several reasons why!

Gosh, he's just such an interesting protagonist in the first series, and he's such a unique character to read about. He is relatable but also a character to look up to. He screwed up many times but it was always because he had good intentions.

Firestar also didn't care what others thought about him despite him being a kittypet, in fact I don't remember that fact ever getting in his way even once! It's amazing that he grows to be one of the best leaders in the history of Warrior Cats. He is wise, and always thinks before he acts. I can't think of one impulsive or stupid thing he did as a leader. He also was consistently fair with the other Clans, as well as outsiders. He was always civil with everyone he encountered and was always welcoming.

He is also such an amazing and loyal friend to everyone around him. It touched me so much how he acted after Graystripe was taken. He refused to believe that he was gone, and would wait for him just as Graystripe had waited for Firestar. He is a great mate to Sandstorm (except for when that pesky Spottedleaf catches him off guard😒) and a great father to Leafpool and Squirrelflight.

Great StarClan, he's just such a cool guy. I have to say though, after the first series he definitely lost his personality a bit after losing his protagonist role, but he still remains one of my favorite characters in Warrior Cats!
