Bramblestar
(I refer to him as Brambleclaw throughout this chapter though because I mainly discuss him during The New Prophecy - Omen of the Stars)

Ugh, Brambleclaw is my babyyyyyy. I love him so much. Partly because of his personality, and partly because of his character arc. We'll talk about his personality first.

Something else I've heard lately is that Brambleclaw's POV's in The New Prophecy are pretty dull, but I have to disagree. I enjoy reading about Brambleclaw, and from reading his chapters I see that he is such a genuine character. He's not Mr. Perfect, and while he is portrayed as wanting to be a leader, he is very humble and unsure of himself lots of the time. Basically I find him to be very relatable.

He is also very protective of his friends, and the family he does have. On the sun-drown place journey, he always jumped to protect the others in danger rather than worrying about himself ("the others" mainly being Squirrelpaw but it's still super cute!) and he is very caring of his sister, Tawnypelt. He even was respectful of Hawkfrost up until the point he had no choice but to kill him to show his loyalty.

I also think Brambleclaw just has very rational thinking, and he handles bad situations really well. It's easy to see and prove by getting to read his thoughts throughout The New Prophecy. Like Firestar, I don't think he is impulsive at all, and always thinks before he acts. Something I also respect in this manor is actually when he broke up with Squirrelflight after Hollyleaf spilled that he and Squirrelflight weren't actually Jayfeather, Lionblaze, and Hollyleaf's parents (whew, that was a mouthful😂). I mean, even thought I love Squirrelflight, that choice to hide the whole Leafpool-kit scandal from Brambleclaw I think was pretty dumb and Brambleclaw deserved to be in on it. But instead, Squirrelflight lied to him for seasons. He was right to cut things off with her. Just another example of why I think he thinks rationally and is a very smart cat.

When it comes to his character arc, I think it might be the best one in the entire series (that I've seen so far). When he is first born he is doubted by everybody because of who his father is, and it is unfair to him because he is this little kit who feels forced to prove himself for no reason! As he grows into an apprentice his loyalty is doubted even more, and he even voices his worries to Fireheart (who stupidly is worried about him more than anyone else). One of my favorite lines in the series is when Bramblepaw says, "I know where my loyalties lie, I'll prove that someday." The reason why I love this line is because, well, he does prove his loyalty later on, and to specifically Firestar himself, when he kills Hawkfrost after trapping Firestar in the fox trap. At first, he lets other cats' worries get to him, and is even pushed down more by Tigerstar himself, but over time he learns to push it all away and find out who he really is: a loyal, strong, and fair leader of ThunderClan. I just really enjoyed reading throughout his battles and growths, and he is definitely a character with lots of substance.

I was so excited when I found out he was getting his own super edition, and I really enjoyed it a lot. It definitely was a great representation of Bramblestar's growth as a true leader.

There's just so much growth we get to see in Brambleclaw, and I enjoy reading about him very much, and that's why he is my favorite character as of now!

P.S. Jessy can go and eat crowfood with Mille because she is also stupid and she got in the way of my favorite ship!!
