First time I saw the character: Justice League TV Series (2001)

When I was younger, Batman didn't seem too cool. With no powers, he seemed like the least coolest person on the Justice League. But as I got to see his character in action in comics, movies, and the shows, he is actually a brilliant character. His back story isn't the happiest one, with his parents being murdered right in front of him. This event hardened him, later making him feel the need to bring justice and rid the world of crime. The Caped Crusader is an exceptional hand to hand combatant, he has one of the smartest minds in the DC universe, and ,being rich, he has a vast array of gadgets and gizmos like the bat-a-rang and the Bat mobile. He's made contingencies for the whole Justice League and always seems 5 steps ahead of everyone. Feared among criminals and an example for heroes everywhere, the Dark Knight proves you don't need powers to get the job done.
