Now I know what your thinking, why are there two names under one character slot? Well I know that each number on the list is supposed to represesnt one character only but I was torn between my two favorite versions of Ant Man: Hank Pym and Scott Lang. They both have qualities I like and I didn't really have room on the list to put both versions so here's a summary of these two Ant Men.

Hank Pym was a brilliant scientist who discovered some peculiar subatomic particles and dubbed them "Pym particles". He realizes these particles have the potential to alter ones size.  Intrigued by ants (after getting shrunk and stuck in an ant hill), he creates a cybernetic helmet that can communicate with ants, a special costume to protect him on his shrinking adventures and, voila, Ant Man is born. Later on he joins the Avengers with his love interest Janet van Dyne who also uses the Pym particles under the name Wasp. So after a while his suit gets stolen by a man named Scott who uses it to help a doctor in distress, the only doctor who could help his sick daughter Cassie. So after successfully rescuing the doctor and getting his daughter the medical help she needed, Lang was ready to go to prison (again) for stealing Pym's Ant Man suit. But seeing the good in Scott's actions and the potential he had, Hank let him keep the suit only if he used it for good as a hero. This shows that a hero comes in all sizes! (come on I had to)
