First time I saw the character: Batman: The Brave and the Bold

So before when I had only small knowlege of superheroes, I noticed Hal Jordan and wondered, what race is Green Lantern?? But I soon I figured out that there are several different Green Lanterns and that they all use that same name. After the green lantern Abin Sur crash landed on Earth, sensing the will power of a hard headed test pilot, he chose Hal to take his place. Hal Jordan's cocky but heroic attitude makes him a fun and memorable character. Using the great power of the ring only limited by imagination, Jordan shows that when there's a will there's a way.
