John Stewart was actually the first lantern superhero I knew, and I learned who Green Lanterns were from him. Being the first Black superhero in DC, he was one of the gateways to race diversity in the superhero universe. He's a valued member of the Justice League and is one of the best Green Lanterns out there. And with his soldier yet all around cool guy attitude he deserves to be high on this hero list.
