"Congratulations, O." Rudra squealed, making Omkara pull away his mobile from his ear, "Thank God, now I will have Ri with me forever."

"For your information, Mr. Singhania, I am the one with whom Gauri's gonna be forever."

"I know O," Rudra rolled his eyes, "I am happy that Gauri's family are happy with both of you."

"Not her brothers'." Omkara sighed.

"They like you, O." Rudra cheered up, "They need time to warm up with you."

"I hope for that to happen soon." Omkara said taking a deep breathe, "I want Gauri's family to accept me, that includes her brothers' too."

"They will." Rudra said, "When are you planning to propose Gauri for the marriage?"

"I have my plans for that, Rudra and guess what." Omkara said in a playful tone,"I am not gonna tell you that plans are."

"O, this is not fair, you know I can't live with this anticipation." Rudra whined.

"Good Night, Rudra." Omkara laughed disconnecting the call.

"Hmm... Another night to sleep on the cold bed, hugging the damn pillow." Omkara sighed laying on the bed, hugging the pillow.

"God, at this rate, I will become zombie one day." Omkara mumbled staying wide awake in his bed after trying to sleep, rolling in his bed for two hours.

"Neither sleep will come nor Gauri, I just roll on this bed, every night is like a journey on rolly." Omkara mumbled, "Great, now I will become a poetic zombie too."

Thud.

The sudden clunk sound made Omkara to sot straight on his bed in alert.

"Did the zombies' came to enroll me in their gang?" Omkara muttered grabbing hold of a porcelain vase from the bedside table. "You should stop spending time with Rudra, you are thinking impractical, some burglar must have broken into the apartment."

Omkara walked carefully towards the balcony door following the sounds, carrying the vase.

"Gauri?" Omkara said shocked as he found Gauri standing in the balcony, dusting her pants.

Gauri smiled bright before running and hugging Omkara tight.

"What are you doing? Why did you jumped from your balcony into mine?" Omkara asked in aghast.

"I missed you, Omkara and my brothers' won't let me meet you." Gauri pouted.

"Even then Gauri, do you have any idea about how dangerous it can be if you slip and fall, Gosh, I don't even wanna think about it." Omkara said hugging Gauri tight as he felt goosebumps, watching the ground down the balcony.

"Promise me, you won't pull these sort of stunts ever again." Omkara said pulling away from Gauri.

"I can't sleep without you." Gauri whined. "Besides it's not new to me, me and my brother often used to enter my house like this, when we stay out late, to escape the taunts from my father."

"Gauri, that's different, just promise me, you won't do it again." Omkara said strictly.

"Fine, I won't do it." Gauri pouted furrowing her brows, "But I missed you."

"I missed you too, baby." Omkara said hugging Gauri, "and I am happy, that your family gave us the blessing. I can't wait to seize you forever in my arms." He said wrapping his arms around Gauri hips, making her jump and wrap her legs around his waist.

Gauri hid her face in Omkara crook, wrapping her arms around his neck, as he carried her inside his room.

"I am sleepy." Gauri said rubbing her eyes, yawning.

"Let's sleep, baby." Omkara said pulling the duvet over them, wrapping his arms around Gauri, letting the sleep embrace him.

"You look beautiful." Omkara said tucking a hair strand behind Gauri's ears as his eyes raked her body, the mermaid backless, burgundy dress, elevating her curves, revealing her smooth skin more than Omkara want it to be.

"You look handsome too." Gauri said feeling shy under the gaze of Omkara, looking him through her lashes, as he looked dashing as ever in his charcoal black suit, paired with a crisp white shirt.

"Where's your family?" Omkara asked looking around.

"Papa was speaking with Tej uncle and My aunt is with your mom." Gauri answered.

"What about your brothers', where are they?"

"Ri." Veer's gruff voice came from behind making Omkara curse under his breathe.

"Speak of the devil." Omkara muttered under his breathe.

"Let's go, Ri, Anika was asking for you." Dheer said pulling Gauri with him, eyeing Omkara.

"Hey O, where's Gauri?" Rudra asked coming towards Omkara, holding a bowl full of dessert in his hand.

"With her brothers'." Omkara said grudgingly.

"Now, I understand why your face is scrunched up like a over baked pizza." Rudra laughed stuffing a spoonful of dessert in his mouth.

"Shut up, Rudra." Omkara scolded, "Care to explain me, where did you found such a mega size cup of dessert? Because as far as I know, they were serving desserts in dessert cups." Omkara asked eyeing the big bowl in Rudra's hand.

"Oh, this." Rudra said showing the bowl in his hand, "I burrowed it from your kitchen, can't waste my energy taking multiple walks to the dessert counter."

"Will you ever change, Rudra?" Omkara asked exasperated.

"Nope." Rudra shook his head scooping the dessert from the bowl, "Never." He said stuffing the spoon in his mouth, grinning.

"I don't even have hopes in that matter." Omkara rolled his eyes, turning around.

"Wow, so smooth and hot." Omkara heard a muffled voice and craned his neck to see about whom the guests where talking about.

He found Gauri speaking animatedly, with Svetlana and Ragini, her back facing Omkara.

Omkara passed a glare towards the men, who were checking out Gauri, making them run for their lives as he walked towards Gauri.

"Omkara, what are you doing?" Gauri asked looking at Omkara by her shoulder.

"I guessed, you must be feeling cold." Omkara said wrapping his coat around Gauri's shoulders.

"I was, but now I am feeling warm." Gauri said wrapping her arms around Omkara's waist, moving closer to him, "but my feet are killing me, these heels and I will never go hand in hand." Gauri pouted looking down at her reddened feet.

"I know baby." Omkara smiled pressing a kiss on her forehead, "and I have made arrangements to help you out." He said waving at the waiter, who was serving drinks at the bar table.

"What's that?" Gauri asked looking at the box, the waiter handed to Omkara, confused.

"I brought sneakers for you." Omkara said opening the box and taking out the sneakers. "Thank god, your dress is long enough to hide them, it's not that I care about what people think but still I don't want to give a topic for the people to talk about." He said kneeling down in front of Gauri.

"Shall I?" Omkara asked looking at Gauri's heels and She nodded.

Omkara took Gauri's feet and rested it on his thigh as he removed Gauri's heels.

"Ouch." Gauri said holding Omkara's shoulder to maintain her balance, "my feet is sore."

"I won't be, anymore." Omkara said rubbing soothing circles on her feet, before he made her wear the sneakers.

"Finished." Omkara said standing up dusting his pants, after successfully tying the sneaker laces. "Are you feeling good now?"

"Can't feel any better." Gauri smiled giving a quick hug to Omkara.

"Good, go and enjoy the party, I will join you soon." Omkara said patting Gauri's hair as letting her go.

"Hmm... Now I should find a place to safeguard these heels without getting caught to Anika." Omkara said looking at the heels in his hands.

"Omkara." Jhanvi waved at Omkara from the opposite end of the part area, gesturing for him to come and meet the guests.

Omkara nodded, looking around to find a place to leave Gauri's heels safe.

"Let us help you in handling them." Veer said forwarding his hand towards Omkara.

"You guys are willing to help me?" Omkara asked surprised.

"Yes, we want to help you." Dheer smiled taking the heels from Omkara.

"We are a family now, Brother In Law." Veer smiled wrapping his big arm around Omkara patting his shoulder.

"And we are happy that our sister chose a right man for her." Veer said with emotion swirling in his eyes.

"Take care of her, I know you would but still, please." Dheer said lightly squeezing Omkara's hand.

"I will," Omkara said giving Dheer's hand a assuring squeeze, "I will take care and protect her with my life." He said nodding at Veer and Dheer.

"Thank you." Veer and Dheer said in unison giving a hug to Omkara.

"Omkara, where are we going? The party is still on." Gauri said as she followed Omkara, as he pulled her along with him away from the party area.

"You will see, just stay quiet and follow me." Omkara said as he guided her towards the terrace of Oberoi Mansion, blindfolding her.

"Omkara—" Gauri called looking confused at the terrace, decorated with fairy lights and balloons.

"Gauri," Omkara said taking her hands in his, "never in my life did I thought, I would fall in love with a girl, after what happened with Shivaay, I isolated myself from the women, hating all female species, feeling proud about how resistant I am, until the day, you knocked on my door, I never thought my tomboy neighbor would break the strong walls and would become my own world one day." He said kissing her hand and getting down on his knee.

"Gauri Sharma, I love you with all my heart and body and brain, my tomboy Girlfriend, will you marry me?" Omkara asked taking out a single diamond studded vintage silver ring.

"Yes." Gauri nodded her head with tears in her  eyes, "I will marry you." She smiled through the tears as Omkara slipped the ring on to her finger and kissed it.

"I love you, my baby." Omkara said hugging and kissing Gauri on her lips.

"I love you more than my cartoons, Omkara." Gauri said making Omkara smile and deepen the kiss as fireworks began to lighten up the sky marking the start of their colourful journey together.
