"Gauri." Omkara called softly rubbing his thumb over Gauri's cheek as he tried to wake her up. "Wake up."

"Let me sleep, Omkara." Gauri mumbled pushing her face into the crook of his neck and tightening the hold around him.

"Don't you wanna go to college today, Sleepy head?" Omkara chuckled running his fingers through Gauri's silky soft hair trying to wake her up.

"I don't want to but I have to go, Papa said 'Good students shouldn't skip the classes'." Gauri pouted sitting in the bed, rubbing the sleep of her eyes.

"Good." Omkara said getting up from his bed, "Now, go and get ready for the college, you can use this bathroom, I will use the one in guest room." He said walking towards the door.

"Omkara, what are you preparing for breakfast?" Gauri asked walking inside the kitchen, where Omkara was cooking breakfast, wearing a black apron over his navy blue shirt, with sleeves rolled up, paired with grey slacks, his grey coat laying in the kitchen chair.

"I am preparing Veg rolls for us." Omkara said slicing the vegetables.

"I know how to make Veg rolls, I saw on internet, I will cook, Omkara." Gauri said excited.

"It's okay, I will cook." Omkara said knowing very well about Gauri's cooking skills.

"No, I will cook, Omkara. I know how to make them." Gauri said trying to grab hold of the pan.

"Don't." Omkara shouted making Gauri flinch, "Why can't you understand, I said I will cook."

"I just want to help you." Gauri said in a low voice.

Omkara inhaled deeply rubbing his face and turned towards Gauri, who was standing with her head down.

"Gauri." Omkara said cupping her face and lifting her head up to get a better view of her face.

"I am sorry for shouting on you." He apologized.

"I was trying to help you." Gauri mumbled looking up at him.

"I know, but... It's just that I like to my Veg rolls in a specific way which is different from the one, you saw on Internet." Omkara said trying not to hurt Gauri again.

"Oh." Gauri said nodding her head.

"Besides we are getting late, so let me cook today, you can try and cook the recipe you saw, when we are free, Okay." Omkara said in a gentle tone.

"Okay."

"Good." Omkara patted Gauri's hair, "You can sit and observe, how to make Veg roll in my style, while I cook." Omkara suggested.

"Besides live lessons are more interesting and knowledgeable than  Online tutorials." Omkara said cheering up Gauri.

"Come, sit here and watch me cook." Omkara said patting on a place beside the stove on kitchen island.

Gauri climbed up and sat on the kitchen island, while Omkara began to prepare food, all the while explaining to Gauri, how to cook.

"And then you have to wrap it up like this." He said wrapping the veg roll.

"That's so quick and easy, Omkara." Gauri clapped.

"Yes, it is." Omkara smiled, "Now, let's eat them and leave before we get late."

"Good Morning, Mrs. Oberoi." Anika greeted Jhanvi, who was sitting on a chair, beside Shivaay's bed.

"Good Morning, Dr. Mishra." Jhanvi smiled. "How are you?"

"I am good, Mrs. Oberoi." Anika said standing in front of Jhanvi, "I can ask you the same but again that's rhetorical cause I can see that sparks of happiness in your eyes."

"All thanks to you and your staff, Dr. Mishra." Jhanvi said giving a grateful smile.

"That's our duty, Mrs. Oberoi." Anika said waving off, "Anyways I am here for regular check up, which will take a few minutes, while I am here, you can go and have your refreshments, you seems like you need one."

"Thanks for being considerate, Dr. Mishra, I really need a coffee, I will go and get one." Jhanvi said and walked out of the room.

Anika smiled in Jhanvi's direction and turned towards Shivaay, who has been listening the conversation between his Mom and the Crazy Doctor, silently.

"How are you feeling today, Mr. Oberoi?" Anika asked keeping the file on the table.

"I won't feel better until I get you fired from this bloody hospital." Shivaay said annoyed.

"That's so good to know." Anika said giving a sweet smile moving towards Shivaay to check his vitals.

"Don't." Shivaay said pulling his hand away from Anika as she was about to check his pulse, "I don't want to get treated by a mad doctor like you."

"Listen, you arrogant prick." Anika said crossing her hands, "You like it or not, I am the one, who's gonna treat you, now stop throwing tantrums." She said trying to grab hold of his hand.

"You dare to call me a arrogant prick, you__ I will not only get you fired, I will make sure, you don't find any job else where."

"Don't think, your treats will make me feel scared." Anika said in a cold tone, "I am not a kid to be afraid of your treats, and even if you do what you said, than I will gladly go serve poor and unfortunate, free of cost. Don't think I will come begging near your feet. I am greater than that."

"You__" Shivaay said frustrated.

"Now, I don't have time to listen to your useless rants, let me complete the check up." Anika said trying to carry on the check up.

"Didn't I said, I don't want to get treated by you." Shivaay said throwing another tantrum.

"I very well know, how to deal with this kind of situation, Mr. Oberoi." Anika said pulling out an injection from her pocket.

Shivaay laughed hard looking at the tiny injection, Anika was holding in her hand, his blue eyes shining bright as he laughed, like the sunlight reflecting on the ocean water. Anika looked at him surprised as she saw him laugh for the first time.

"He looks good, when he laughs." Anika thought looking at Shivaay.

"You__ you thought you can scare me off with that injection?" Shivaay said his voice raspy from the laugh

"Let's see, if you will be scared or not, " Anika said looking at Shivaay with a straight look, "But before that let me be clear Mr. Oberoi, if you throw another tantrum, I will stab this injection in a place where the sun don't shine." Anika deadpanned making Shivaay look at her in horror.

"You__ you are really a Mad doctor." Shivaay said trying to protect his Baby making parts with his hands as Anika took a step towards him.

"Now, that you know what I am capable of. " Anika smirked, " Let me carry on the check up." And this time Shivaay obeyed her like a obedient kid.
