The next day morning, Omkara woke up and got ready wearing his casual jeans paired with a white v neck full sleeves T shirt. He loved Sundays, mostly because he doesn't have to wake up early morning for office unlike other days and he can spend time with his brother talking about the happenings of the whole week and then return  home evening and drown himself in the sadness of missing his brother.

He locked his apartment door and looked towards Gauri's apartment.

"Seems like she hasn't woke up yet." Omkara thought and walked towards the elevator. Just as the elevator doors were about to close Gauri came running towards the elevator wearing a big white hoodie and a back pack.

"Buddy, wait." She called running towards the elevator.

Omkara rolled his eyes and pressed the button to keep the doors open for Gauri to enter.

"Thank you, buddy." Gauri said after entering into the elevator.

"Didn't I told you not to call me buddy?" Omkara asked irritated.

"Sorry, I got habituated calling you Buddy, I will call you by your name." Gauri said smiling sweetly.

Omkara pressed the button to reach the ground floor and stood beside Gauri in silence. He heard paper flipping sound and saw Gauri taking out a paper and marking something on it laying it on the steel wall of the elevator. He silently looked at the paper she was writing, sideways and quickly looked away when she turned around. Again she began to mark something in the paper, heightening his curiosity.

"What was she writing so secretively? Is she planning something? Can't believe these female species, should be careful." Omkara thought.

"Yes, done." Gauri said capping her pen and stuffing it in her pocket looking at the paper in her hand with satisfaction.

"What was that? " Omkara asked feeling curious.

"This is a map." Gauri said smiling bright waving the paper in her hand.

"A map? Are you going on a treasure hunt or something? " Omkara asked confused.

"No, I am going to find the jalebi shop that Ganesh bhaiyya told me about." Gauri said cheerfully.

"And why are you making map for that? Don't you have Maps in your mobile?"

"I do have but this is how Dora finds the places with a backpack and a map" Gauri said happily showing her backpack and waving her map. "Besides the last time I used the map in my mobile it took me to a wrong location,so now I made my own map like Dora, the explorer."

"Oh, not that annoying dumb creature." Omkara mumbled rubbing his temple.

"Today I am going to explore the streets of Paris like Dora." Gauri announced running out of the elevator doors as soon as the door opened.

Omkara ran behind Gauri and stopped her holding her elbow.

"What happened bud...? " Gauri asked and Omkara narrowed his eyes, "Omkara." Gauri corrected herself.

"You are not going anywhere." Omkara said pulling her back.

"Why?" Gauri asked her smile fading.

"That's what I have been questioning myself, why am I stopping her now." Omkara mumbled.

"Omkara, I have to go." Gauri said looking at Omkara expecting him to release her hand from his grip.

"Didn't you heard what I said? you are not going anywhere." Omkara ordered.

"But why?" Gauri asked in a low tone.

"Umm... Because... There are bad people roaming in the streets... Waiting to kidnap people like you?" Omkara tried to give a reason.

"Then I should go and smack their heads and beat them to blue and black like chota bheem does to Dhaku mangal singh." Gauri said fisting her hands and punching in the air.

"Wrong move, Omkara." Omkara thought smacking himself internally.

"I am gonna fight the bad guys and then explore the city like Dora." Gauri announced again.

"No, you are not going anywhere, understand?" Omkara said strictly.

"I thought of exploring the city today see I also packed sandwiches and snacks, everything will go in vain since I am gonna stay in apartment." Gauri said with a sad expression looking at the map in her hand.

Omkara felt bad looking at Gauri's fallen face.

"You don't have to stay in apartment, you can come with me." Omkara offered.

"You will take me out with you?" Gauri asked excited.

"Yes." Omkara said with a straight face.

"Thank you Omkara." Gauri exclaimed her face brightening up instantly. "Come on let's go." She said running towards his car and buckling herself in the passenger seat.

Omkara shook his head and walked towards his car.

"Omkara." Gauri called as Omkara was driving silently.

"Hmm."

"Where are we going?" Gauri asked confused looking at the unfamiliar streets.

"Wasn't that the question, you should have asked before getting into my car?" Omkara asked looking forward driving the car.

"I forgot to ask then." Gauri shrugged.

"Will you get inside any car without asking any questions?" Omkara questioned.

"Nope, my father said not to get inside the stranger vehicles." Gauri said actioning with her index finger.

"But you got into my car." Omkara stated.

"You are not a stranger, you are my buddy." Gauri said happily.

"Who said I am your buddy?" Omkara asked raising his brow.

"Me. Since we are helping each other, we are buddies. Friends help each other right?" Gauri said defending her point.

Omkara just shook his head taking a left and stopping his car in front of the hospital gates.

"Omkara, why are we in front of a hospital?" Gauri asked looking up at the hospital.

"My brother's here." Omkara said removing his seat belt and getting down.

"Your brother is a Doctor?" Gauri asked running behind Omkara to match his pace.

"No." Omkara answered with a serious face.

"Then?"

"You will see." Omkara asked said and opened the door of Shivaay's room walking inside.

"Shivaay, I am here again like every other day to see you and talk with you but you are here stubbornly laying without a movement. Please Shivaay, wake up." Omkara whispered holding Shivaay's hand in his with tears pooled up in his eyes.

"Omkara." Gauri called softly placing a hand on Omkara's shoulder. He quickly wiped off his eyes and stood up to face Gauri.

"Is he your brother? The one you told me yesterday about?" Gauri asked remembering their conversation about Shivaay yesterday at Malhotra's party.

"Yes." Omkara said with his voice cracking.

"Can I meet your, brother? " Gauri asked hesitantly.

Omkara nodded his head turning to wipe his tears off.

"Hello Bade bhaiyya, I am Gauri Sharma, Omkara's friend. It's nice meeting you." Gauri said shaking Shivaay's hand.

"You girl, what are you doing?" Omkara yelled on Gauri pulling her back.

"I am shaking hands with Bade bhaiyya." Gauri answered meekly.

"Can't you see, he's a patient and you idiot girl." Omkara shouted again making Gauri look at him scared.

"What's going on here?" Anika asked coming inside Shivaay's room listening to the loud noises.

"I am sorry." Gauri said in the verge of tears.

"Who are you telling sorry to?" Anika asked coming near Gauri, who was standing beside Shivaay's bed.

Gauri raised her hand and pointed towards Omkara, who was standing in the other side of the room. Only then did Anika noticed Omkara.

"You.. You came again? To create drama in the hospital?" Anika accused Omkara.

"Not you again." Omkara groaned holding his head.

"You dare to come inside the hospital again and was shouting and scaring this poor soul here?" Anika scolded pulling Gauri towards her wrapping an arm around her shoulder.

"Did he scolded you?" Anika asked slowly wiping Gauri's tears.

Gauri nodded in yes.

"He's a stupid man, don't know anything but to shout, you don't cry cutie pie." Anika said hugging Gauri.

"You woman," Omkara said, "what kind of doctor you are scolding me, she shook his hand, check what happened to him instead of wasting time."

"Oh, stop telling me what to do, unless you have an MBBS degree." Anika gave back to Omkara, making him grit his teeth.

"FYI she just shook his hand, it's not like she was planning to kill him or your brother is super sensitive, who get bruised due to a single hand shake." Anika said rolling her eyes.

"You... " Omkara started.

"Security, do I need to tell you what to do?" Anika said looking at the two guards, who are standing at the entrance of the room.

"No, Mam." They said and walked towards Omkara guiding him out of the room.

"Where are you going?" Anika asked Gauri, who was following Omkara.

"Out of the room." Gauri answered meekly.

"You can stay here." Anika said smiling.

"I can?" Gauri asked smile forming on her face.

"Yes, come here." Anika said gesturing Gauri to come near her, "You can sit and watch as I will examine this Kanji ankhwala here." Anika said pointing towards Shivaay.

"Kanji ankhwala? " Gauri asked confused.

"Yes, you will see." Anika said switching on the torch light and focusing it on Shivaay's eyes opening his eyelids exposing his Blue eyes.

"Wow! Blue eyes." Gauri said surprised.

"Yes, that's what I call as Kanji Ankh." Anika said flipping her hair.

"When he will wake up?" Gauri asked looking at Shivaay.

"Don't know, it's in his hands, if he want he can wake up but seems like he was not trying to wake up." Anika said shrugging.

"By the way, what's your name, Sweetie." Anika asked standing in front of Gauri.

"I am Gauri Sharma." Gauri said shaking hands with Anika.

"And I am Dr. Anika."

"Do you have small babies here? I always wanted to see, what a new born baby looked like, will you show me?" Gauri asked enthusiastically.

"Mmm... At present we don't have any new born babies but I will show you, if we have any the next time." Anika said smiling.

"But, Omkara won't get me here again na?" Gauri said sadly.

"Who said so? You are coming next time and that's final." Anika said, "Come let's go out and let this Kanji ankhwala rest."

"What? No!" Omkara shouted listening to Anika's words.

"What No? I won't allow you to step into this hospital without her from next time." Anika said strictly.

"You.. "

"I know, I am great." Anika said patting herself, "Don't come without her." Anika said and gave a hug to Gauri.

"See you soon, Ri." Anika said patting Gauri's cheeks.

"Bye Didi, take care." Gauri said waving to Anika smiling bright and when she turned around to face Omkara her smile vanished seeing his angry expression.
