Tobio re-read Daichi's message, feeling just a hint of suspicion. He doesn't remember a time when Daichi texted this way, but he chose to shrug the feeling off and go to Karasuno.

"I know because I'm suspended I'm not supposed to set foot in school grounds but.. I feel like this is really important" he thinks, as he slips on his outdoor shoes.

He doesn't have any explanation for this odd feeling. Call it his intuition, call it instinct, or a gut feeling... whatever the hell it was called, he wasn't ignoring it. And besides, it wasn't like he was doing anything important.

And he wanted to get away from his house

He had burned seven letters that morning, all contained the usual harassment and death threats, calling him an assaulter and woman hitter. One of the letters even had the phrase 'I hope you suffer STDs' on repeat.

Compared to the previous letters(ones from a few days ago) calling him a slut, manwhore, and several other degrading names, the letters he received today seemed tamer.

He really wanted to see his friends again. He wanted to see the people who never stopped believing in his innocence.

Really, his suspension was unbearable.

Every single day was a day away from his best friends, his team mates, from volleyball. Every single day has been complete utter crap and he's sick of it.

He thought of Mei, that bitch. Thought of her smug smile, her hateful glare and her shitty high pitch laughter. He hates her to the core. Maybe 'hate' is too soft of a word to describe how he feels for her... He downright despises her now!

She's selfish, irritating, annoying, manipulative, bitchy, psychotic, self-absorbed, crazy, obsessed, and the most HORRIBLE girlfriend in the planet!

10/10 would not recommend

"Phase 1 is done, time for phase 2"

Hinata looked at the blond warily.

The blond noticed the look sent to him by the orange haired boy, so he flashed him what he hoped was an encouraging smile. "Relax midget, it'll all be over soon, I promise. Just... Make sure Mei's in her place"

"If this plan of yours backfires or if you try and betray us" Suga said with a warning smile. "I don't care if I get suspended too, I'll break every bone in your body whilst naming it"

Rei momentarily felt fear. But he swallowed it down and smiled at the grey haired boy. "Dully noted mama crow" he teasingly said. "O-oi" Suga stammered, blushing. "Can people please stop calling me 'mama'?! It's a bruise to my masculinity" he mumbled the last part.

To which Kei retorted with a smirk. "When were you ever masculine? Suga mama"

"U-URUSAI!" Suga snapped. He's seriously had enough with that stupid nickname! He doesn't always act like a mom! And why a mom?! Why isn't he labelled the dad or something?

"Okay" Rei clapped his hands to gain everyone's attention. "Is cute little To-baby-chan here yet?"

"Don't call him that" Tooru glared at him.

"Why? It's true" Rei whined.

"I'm the only one allowed to call him that"

"Ara? Says who~ your Highness? " Rei sarcastically asked.

"Says the boyfriend" Tooru smirks. "Orokana mohō-sha"

Lightning flashed between the two

But Shoyo clapped his hands to get the two's attention. "Kageyama's in the back"

"I'm here!" Tobio said as he climbed over the chain link fence. Daichi waved at him. "Over here!" He called for his kouhai. The raven haired boy was still feeling confused, nevertheless he went over to Daichi. "What did your text mean anyway? I felt like something urgent's happening" Tobio said. "You know I'm not supposed to be here"

"Text?" Daichi frowned. But then he remembered what Rei did. "O-oh right! Hehe, I forgot" he awkwardly laughed.

Tobio frowned. "You're acting weird" he pointed out. Suddenly, his captain grabbed his arm and dragged him in side the school building through a back door.

"Hey! What's going on?" Tobio demanded, feeling even more confused. "We're clearing your name today" was all Daichi told him. Tobio blinked, "huh?"

Just then, the PA systems blared to life, startling the students and staff temporarily.

A familiar voice spoke

"This is not a drill, all teachers and students must head to the gym in an orderly fashion... I repeat this is not a drill"

"Rei?" Tobio thought of the blond asshole who helped Mei ruin his life. Daichi gave a sigh of relief. "Right on time---lets go Kageyama!"

"Wha--wait! Tell me what the hell is going on?"

"You'll see for yourself anyway"

The two ran through the halls.

Just then, Shoyo emerges from another hallway, carrying a jacket and cap. "Wear this" the shorter male said handing him the disguise. "So teachers won't recognize you.... Not that they'll be able to focus on anything else during this anyway" he winked conspiratorially at his bewildered friend.

Tobio decided to just keep his mouth shut and go along with them. It wasn't like he would get a straight answer if he kept asking them anyway.

Daichi and Hinata looked very excited about something.

"Ugh, what the hell is happening?!" Mei whined, following her classmates to the gym. "I was taking a nap damn it!"

"Maybe it's a drill?" One of her friends suggested.

"The announcement literally said that it wasn't, Karin!" Her other friend scoffed.

"Maybe there was an accident? Maybe it's a shooting!" Another one suggested, looking shaken. Mei rolled her dark eyes. "If it was a shooting, we wouldn't be told to leave the classroom... Idiot"

Soon everyone was inside the large gym.

At the very end of the gym, was a giant screen projector.

Mei frowned. Her intuition told her to get the hell out of there, but she willed herself to stay. She was too curious, she wanted to know what was going on.

Then the lights went off, plunging the place in to temporary darkness. Then the screen came to life and a video was shown

Mei felt her heart drop to the pit of her stomach

"STUPID BASTARDS! I HATE THEM!"

SMASH!

Mei picked up a desk and threw it against the wall, smashing it to pieces. She was seething, smoke was practically coming out of her nostrils. Her cousin Rei simply watches her with unconcealed amusement. "I hate them I hate them I hate them I hate them I hate them I HATE THEM!" the girl chanted while stomping her feet

"Okay, I hear you. But could you please stop stomping your feet like a five year old?" Rei scoffed. "You look stupid"

"I gave him my everything! I loved the bastard, adored him, I cheered him on every game, and how does he repay me?! By breaking my heart, and force feeding me the pieces!" she kicked a chair.

"When he came out to me about his fucking relationship I was happy for him!"

The video changed and this time it showed Mei attacking Tobio with her bat

Mei picked up her bat again and pointed it threateningly at Tobio. "Prove it"

"What?"

"I said prove it! Show me pictures of you and your boyfriend! Let me meet him, show me images of you on a date with him!" Mei growled. "I'm giving you two months to prove to me that you're relationship is real! And I promise to leave you alone"

Gasps can be heard from the crowd

Mei tried to sneak away but she was surrounded by taller students, all glaring down at her.

"Shit" she cursed.

This couldn't possibly get worse right?

The video changed back to the one from before

"I wanna hurt him... Make him regret what he did to me! That attention seeking manwhore will rue the day he crossed Tokoto Mei" she giggles crazily. Rei glared at her but said nothing. "What do you plan to do?"

"I'll accuse him of sexual assault, destroy his reputation, turn him into a social outcast!" She listed. "I'll pay thugs to beat him up--I'll spread rumors about him"

"What happens if you get caught?"

"I won't!" Mei insisted. "Who'll they believe anyway? That gloomy ice prick with half a brain?" she scoffed. "Or this cute, innocent, pitiful weak damsel?" To prove her point, she started shedding tears.

"I know!" Rei forced a laugh. "How about I choke you?"

"What?!"

" no no! Listen cousin, it'll be more believable if you'll have bruises on you... So how about I choke you a bit... Leave some marks of assault so it'll be more authentic?"

"Great idea" Mei praised.

The video ended.

For a moment, the crowd goes absolutely silent. Everyone was stunned and disgusted by what they saw.

"SHE LIED!!" someone screams.

"SHE SET UP KAGEYAMA!" another one followed.

"SHE AND THAT BLOND BOY! THEY FRAMED KAGEYAMA-KUN!"

It didn't take long for roars of outrage to be heard. The sheer volume of the students' collective fury was almost deafening. It almost seemed as if, the very ground beneath their feet seemed to shake with rage.

"Now everyone knows what you did. I think that you already know that this isn't going to end well for you." Someone hisses at her from behind. She spun around and locked eyes with Oikawa Tooru.

"O-O-Oikawa-san" she stuttered fearfully.

Oikawa smirked and backed away, disappearing behind the crowd of furious students. Mei's eyes traveled from one rage filled face to another

she felt fear for her life

SMACK!

She felt a sharp stinging on her face.

Someone slapped her.

She looked at the source, and saw that it was one of her friends. Looking at her with furious eyes.

She noticed the other members of her group meanwhile looked at her with disbelief.

When another made a move forward, her survival instincts kicked in and she made a run for it

Pushing past a few still shocked students she slipped past the crowd.

Unfortunately for her, certain students had snapped out of it. And pretty soon, a mob of furious, betrayed, hate filled students were chasing after the poor girl. All while screaming "LIAR!" and "MANIPULATIVE BITCH!" and "WAIT TILL WE GET OUR HANDS ON YOU! YOU WENCH!" their hands out stretched.

Someone threw a pair of scissors at her.

Luckily she ducked her head in time so it only managed to graze her cheek.

"STOP! All students must return to your classrooms! IMMEDIATELY! I understand your rage but do not allow yourselves to fall into the same category as that girl....everyone, GO TO YOUR CLASSROOMS!" The principal yells over the speaker.

"But the bitch needs to be punished!" A still furious student protests.

"She wanted to pay thugs to hurt Kageyama!"

"She made us all believe she was sexually assaulted! She didn't care for the consequences of her actions! She only cares about getting whatever the fuck she wants!"

"This bitch needs to have a taste of her own medicine!" Growled another.

The students glared at her, nothing but disdain and contempt can be seen in their eyes.

Mei trembled with fear. Did they... Did they seriously want to rip her apart limb by limb?!

"Children, let the adults deal with this. Go back to your classrooms, hurry! It's still a school day, Tokoto-san's punishment will be given to her by the school staff"

Two teachers appeared by Mei's side, both harbored looks of disgust.

Mei gulped, and lowered her head. Her knees and arms shook with fear.

The principal said something about her being taken to the principal's office.

The students parted as she(with the teachers on either side of her) walked past, all glaring at her with fury and disgust.

Then, hiding amongst the crowd, she saw three familiar faces. Her cousin, Oikawa, and...

"Tobio?"

The boy, unlike the others however, who looked at her with contempt. Tobio just looked at her with
