"Hello Officer, how may I help you?"

Jin was surprised to see an officer at the door but managed to speak to him with a steady and calm voice. He wondered what he could be here for and his mind wandered back to the young man who called himself V the other night. Was he a criminal? Could they link Jin back to him? Jin had many more thoughts but the officer interrupted them.

"Sorry to bother you but I have a couple questions for you regarding a crime that took place in this area about two nights ago." The officer spoke. "Oh ok, please come in, would you like something to drink?" Jin said. "Yes, coffee please if you don't mind. The officer spoke as he walked through the door.

The officer leaned against the island in Jin's kitchen as his eyes wandered the apartment, his eyes catching a couple picture frames on the walls and on a small table behind his couch.

"So what brings you here officer..." Jin trailed off. "Oh sorry I'm Officer Hyeon Youngjae, but just call me Officer Hyeon and I already know your name is Kim Seokjin." Officer Hyeon said. "Oh, haha so what did you need to ask?" Jin asked. "Well one of the officers at are station was recently caught in an entanglement with a dangerous criminal and was left extremely injured but he did manage to pull through." Officer Hyeon said. " Oh wow that's terrible sir. But if you don't mind my asking, how does this involve me?" Jin asked while hand him the coffee, cream and sugar.

The officer added the sugar in his coffee and pushed the creamer towards Jin. "Well... from what the officer who was injured told us he managed to injure the criminal after being disarmed by him. He used a stray piece of glass to stab him but the criminal still got the best of him and got away. We didn't think he'd be able to get far with those wounds yet he did. Not a trace of blood or footprint left behind." Officer Hyeon said.

Jin's mind trailed back to V and his injury, finally getting an explanation as to how it happened. Jin finally began to speak up again.

"Again Officer Hyeon, how does this involve me?" Jin questioned. "Well Mr.Kim we traced all phones in the area at during the time frame and yours was the only one to come up so naturally I'd have to question you." The officer said.

Jin had an understanding look on his face and nodded leaning on the counter across the officer. This was not how Jin planned for his night to go. All he wanted to to was get home, get comfortable, eat and maybe start a new Kdrama. This was so far from what he planned. The officer began to speak up again.

"From what I hear you're a surgeon so coming home late isn't too strange for you but what is strange is when you called a taxi that night you gave him directions about a street away from your apartment. Care to explain?" Officer Hyeon said.

Jin's minor in acting was about to come in super handy.

"I do that for safety reasons officer, whenever I take a cab to mines or a friends house I never give the exact address. A lot of people are put in danger like that so I never give the exact address." Jin explained with a calm voice. "So you didn't hear any noises or see anything?" Officer Hyeon asked. "No, sorry sir. If I truly could say I saw or heard something I would but I sadly didn't." Jin said looking down with a slight pout.

Officer Hyeon would be lying if e said he didn't find Seokjin attractive. Jin was still in his work clothes which consisted of skinny jeans, a white t-shirt and light blue button up jacket. Even in this casual jacket he managed to look like a model. After realizing what had been going through his head Officer Hyeon spoke.

"Well you seem to have a valid alibi and please don't be surprised if anymore officers come to question you this criminal is quite dangerous."

"Thank you for the heads up Officer Hyeon." Jin said with a smile while walking with him to the front door. Jin opened the front door letting the officer out.

"If we have any news that confirms you aren't apart of this I'll let you know." Officer Hyeon said. "Thank you Officer Hyeon have a goodnight." Jin said while bowing slightly. The officer nodded and gave a slight wave. Jin sighed as he watched the officer walk away relieved that interaction was over, he walked back inside unaware of the two sharp dragon eyes who had been watching them talk before leaving in and out of the apartment.

Jin walked back into his apartment and was finally able to relax. He got in the shower and began to reminisce about the time he could hear his neighbors  talking about how smart their sons were, he could see his mom watch them and doing their best to ignore them. Jin was only 8 at the time so he didn't understand much of what they were talking about. But I guess you could say that's the moment that sparked something inside Jin, something that made him want to make his mom proud.

Jin got out the shower and changed into his pajamas. Jin made some instant ramen in a cup and sat down and turned on his T.V. He thought about visiting his parents his next day off in a couple days, it had been a while so it would be good to see them.

After finishing up Jin threw the cup away and put the chopsticks in the sink. He turned off the living room T.V and made his way to his room and turned on the T.V in there. He watched his cartoons until he was finally able to fall asleep.

Who would've known that one conversation with that officer could change Jin's world.
