Honestly I'm very disappointed in the church. We only help we it benefits us. We only help on certain holidays. We don't do search parties unless it's someone who goes missing in our church. Like what!?!!? Huh?!?!?! As Christians we are suppose to walk in Jesus' footsteps! Here's something to think about.

Would Jesus only help someone when it benefits him?

Did he only help his followers?

Did he only help when he felt like it?

The answer is No. No. And No! HE WOULD ALWAYS HELP PEOPLE! NOT CERTAIN PEOPLE! ALL PEOPLE! He would do it even if it didn't benefit him. He helped all types of people. One of his apostles was a tax collector!

So tell me why we only do it when it benefits us?

Why do we only do it for people in our church and our church alone?

Why do we help only on certain holidays?

Why do we only help when we feel like it?

Why!

Why!

CHRISTIAN CHURCH WE NEED TO WAKE UP! WE ARE BECOMING BLIND! WE ARE LOSING OUR WAY! WE ARE STRAYING FROM WHAT JESUS HAS SAID. WE AREN'T WALKING IN HIS FOOTSTEPS! WE NEED TO HELP EVEN IF WE DON'T GET A BENEFIT FROM IT! WE NEED TO DO IT NOT ONLY FOR THOSE IN JUST OUR CHURCH BUT FOR THOSE WHO AREN'T!

Don't get me wrong I'm a Christian myself but the church is becoming how do I put this...... exclusive and toxic. Some have a program where you take and then you get to be an "official" member of the body. My church does that so I've been distancing myself from it. Churches are becoming more cult like and some even scamming others. 

It saddens me that this is happening in the body of Christ. It truly does disappoint me. It's messed up. Honestly we really need to make a change within ourselves. We need a full out make over.
