You know, DayZ isn't a BAD game, it's simply misunderstood. There's no real way you're forced to play it, but what most people do gives the game a bad rep. A good bit of players love to gear up in the mainland, then kill new spawns over and over, usually making the new spawn upset since they can't do anything to multiple armed soldiers, and all the new spawn has is a rag, flare, and sharpened pebble. However the more relaxing way to play is to explore the vast amount of forest and woods in the game. Hunting is a good source of food and the lighting is stunning to say the least. It really is a good game to pick up, if you have the patience for it. It's an all around good survival game, and I recommend it due to its many different ways to play
