Khamoshi si chaayi hai har taraf mere

Par is khamoshi mein bhi ek saaz hai

Aankh band karke jab mehsus kiya is saaz ko

To vo or kuch nahi balki in khamosh hawayon ki aawaz hai

(Silence is everywhere around me

But this silence also has an instrument

When i felt this instrument after closing my eyes

So it is nothing but the sound of these silent winds)

Mujhe ab parwah nahi is zamaane ki

Kitni baar koshish ki unhone hume jhukaane ki

Har baar humara dil hi tha jo hume majboor kar deta tha unke samne

Par ab kyu sunu main is pagal dil deewane ki

(I don't care anymore

How many times they tried to bow down to me

Every time it was my heart that forced me to face him

But now why should I listen to this crazy heart)

Logo ke samne ab itna hass chuke hai hum

Ki ab humare dard ko bhi vo hasi mein hi taal dete hai

(We have so much laughter in front of people

That now they also indulge my pain to humor)

Har baar mere dil mein ek aahat si hoti hai

Dur to ho gye hai hum unse phir bhi milne ki chahat si hoti hai

Kyu is dil ko chain nahi kahi pe bhi

Kyuki unki tasveer dekhne k baad hi to isme rahat si hoti hai

(Every time there is a sound in my heart

We are far away, still want to meet him

Why did not this heart rest anywhere

Because after seeing his picture, it is in peace)

Koi raaz sa chupa hai is andheri raat mein

Kuch kehna chahte the jaise vo humse apni us uljhi hui baat mein

Jab janna chaha humne matlb unke un ulze alfazo ka

Aankh mein aansu or dil mein dard ke siva kuch na mila hume saugaat mein

(There is a secret hidden in this dark night

He wanted to say something to us in his that complicated thing

When I wanted to know about those entangled words of his

I got nothing except tears in my eyes and heart aches as a gift)
