Poem of the Heart (ft. @_fallenpoet_ )

And here goes my first collab with _fallenpoet_ ,  one of the finest writers and one of the most amazing poets , that I have ever met. I am so glad to have him as my friend, please check his poetries and don't forget to follow him.

_fallenpoet_ 's part:

'My eyes are in resentment with me
As I haven't seen her grace for long
My hands show bitterness, missing her touch
It even pains 'em to write this song.

My heart is in resentment with me
As I'm inapt to fill the void, it's left torn
Mind despising me, brimming with memories Although it's been time since she's gone.

My soul is in resentment with me
As it's been left unloved since
My sinew reviles for I wasn't
Even her knight, forget being her prince.'

"Promised, but couldn't save the fallen poét from
falling deep
Embraced, but left him hanging on the edge
steep."

My part:

'The reflection of my face,
Hurts on too much these days,
It was glamoured by his smile,
But that's nowhere nowadays..

Sometimes I wish I could say,
To him of what I feel,
No, my selfless mind stops me,
He was never mine, and I cannot steal...

The albums of instances of him with me,
Still linger in my dreams, and the specks of reality,
My fingers want to intertwine with his so soon,
Little do they know, that they never can do so...

And now with what they say, a broken heart,
I am still alive here, breathing, I don't know how,
'Cause there was a time when my breath was same as his,
And his eyes searched for my sight, within a split second that I was gone...

If there is anything as pure as souls in here,
It's the love we feel, or the pain I can't decipher,
As it's the same when I still think about him,
'Cause maybe we were just meant to fall,
I caught him in the way, and he let me drown...'

"Well I just immersed myself into some memories
And this time I also felt quite broken
But it felt as if those pieces still made of past
Demanded to be rejoined with the new
version of mine..."
