Do you remember

That very first time?

When you looked at me

That feeling was such

Which wasn't ever felt

By this broken heart

Or this empty soul

Which could do nothing but only breathe

When this mind could trust no one

Not even this stupid self

And was drowned in an ocean of fears

Afraid to lose myself in someone again

You made me promise life

Even if I knew it was meant to be broken

And I started to trust again

You made me realise

What's the new lease of care

When you held me there

Where everyone else had left

When you picked me up

From where I had fallen

Never really tried to rise

Only you made me feel alive

What is it you say

That my late night solitudes

Turned to 3am calls

And my self hate addictions

Turned into selfless affections

Is it not something really special

For someone who never smiled in real

To cry with eyes full of happy tears

By this way or by that

Like an angel born out of hell

You made me fall for darkness too

Within the embrace of your arms

You made me fly in the open air

With the broken chains that ever tied me here

Oh, you made a heaven for a girl who wished for death

And made me believe in falling stars

To fulfill the reality and not the dreams

To have you by my side and my mind in peace.
