Kisame and Miru met because of a mission. He was tasked by his superior, Fuguki Suikazan to protect the cypher division from his village (Kirigakure) but he couldn't let any of the cypher members be captured no matter what, because the enemies would now classified information regarding their village.

Miru tried to establish a bond with Kisame despite the fact the other members of the cypher core didn't want anything to do with him.

She even invited him for dinner after the mission was completed.💞

In my opinion if it weren't for that twisted mission they would've worked out....😭

At some point they got cornered by Ibiki Morino's squad. Kisame was willing to protect everyone but they were just to many, so each time a konoha-nin was almost able to capture one of the members of the cypher core, he killed them...

In the end they reached a dead end. And because of Kisame's loyalty to the mission he killed the remaining members. The last person he killed was Miru....she asked him why he had done what he did, and Kisame told her about the mission....she ended up dying with a smile and telling Kisame ..."that's so sad, what a terrible life"...💔

I wish they had a little more recognition....Kisame didn't really receive any type of affection other than Miru's, if only they had a little more time and he hadn't been assigned that mission I'm positive they would've worked out💖👏

Personally I strongly believe Miru would've been able to change his perspective about the way he was supposed to live💘 Ship...👌
