I think I found out how patch died this morning.

I was attacked by something, I don't know what exactly, but I was injured at the side and was pushed into a river, where I bled to death as my blood stained the river red...

I was so scared after the vision that I had an emotional shift. I started gnawing on one of my blankets and digging my "Claws" into the floor. I had to hug the blanket to calm down a little.

I think this explains why I had an unreasonable fear of water when I was little, (like the deep parts of the swimming pool) despite loving to swim in my past life.
