This part is going to be about the leaders in the books. I will be using their warrior names(their names before they became leader.)

Pineheart. Ok, so we don't know that much about him(at least, I don't). Next!

Bluefur. This one's easy enough. I'm assuming that she was named after her pelt color. 

Fireheart. Well, he got the prefix Fire because of his pelt. I think is name's suffix comes from him caring for others as an apperentice and stuff, even if it meant breaking the Warrior Code. 

Bramblestar. I don't know why his prefix was Bramble, but i think he got his suffix because his fathers suffix was also Claw.

A/N

Ok...so I don't think I will be bolding anything for now because for some reason I can't. Huh.....

Crookedjaw. Because of his crooked jaw. Duh.

Leopardpelt. At least, I think that was her name. It was because of her leopard-like patterned pelt

Mistyfoot. She was named Mistykit as a kit because her mother (*cough* Bluestar *cough*) wanted to name her kits after what reminded her of the river, since her father (Oakheart) was a Riverclan cat. Mist. Um...sort of reminds me of the river. Why her suffix was Foot, maybe she was a good swimmer? Because you use your feet/paws to swim?

Talltail. I think it was because he had a long tail but instead they called it tall. Eh.

Onewhisker. Honestly, I don't know why. He didn't only have one whisker or something, right?

Tigerclaw. His prefix is Tiger because when he was born, he was the weakest of the litter and his parent named him Tigerkit, hoping that he will survive. His suffix is Claw because, well, he had very long claws. 

Blackfoot. Well, he was all white except his feet, which was black, hence the name Blackfoot.

Rowanfall. I think his name was Rowanfall, but I'm not sure so no idea where his name came from.

There might be some (ok, maybe a lot of names) that I don't know, or have no explanation. And, I will not be doing every single cat. Too many.
