Nikki and Tommy went home trying to figure out why Nikki turned into a dragon. Nikki looked in his spell book to find answer but all he found was that the family metamorphosis into a dragon. The dragon being the familes symbol like how Paul has the Phoenix from his family.

Nikki knew there was only one person who can answer this question and it was someone he refused to talk to ever since. His mother.

"Tommy I need to talk to my mother." Nikki said. "I know where she is please talk care of the twins. I'll be back soon."

"Wait babe, you sure you can handle facing her alone I know how you think just the thought of her and everything she did to you as a child." Tommy said.

"Yes I'm sure I can handle it. I just need to know what this means for me and my kids. My babies are gonna have magic I can sense it and I have to learn everything I can so I can teach them not to be afraid of it like I was." Nikki said.

"Ok honey just please if you change your mind don't hesitate to come back home." Tommy said as he kissed his husbands forehead.

"I will baby i'll see you soon." Nikki said.

They kissed one last time took his spell book and a necklace his grandmother gave him and wore it like a comfort.

He got in his car and drove to his mothers house which was two hours away from his. He drove worrying about seeing his neglectful mother and wondering how this interaction will go.

After two hours of driving, he finally made it to her house. He took a deep breath and walked to the door and rang the bell. After a few seconds the door opened and there before him was his mother the woman who never cared for him or even tried to.

"Frankie my baby." Deana said as she hugged her son.

"That's not my name." Nikki said not hugging back.

"Fine I'll call you by the name I didn't give you." Deana said. "Well Nikki what do you want?"

"Tell me about our family magic i turned into a dragon the other day at my friends wedding. Nona never told me about it so I'm asking you." Nikki said.

"You mean she never told you? Well I guess it is time you know now." Deana said.

"Now why wouldn't she tell me when i was younger?" Nikki asked.

"Well she...well she didn't want it to be true. Before you were born there was a certain descendant of our family that was supposed to be born with chaos magic and set to destroy the universe." Deana said.

"Huh?" Nikki asked.

Deana got her mothers book and put it on the table and said "Your grandmother gave me this when you were born. I told her when I was pregnant with you my magic was more intense than a normal pregnancy with magic would be. She told me one descendant in our family will have the power to manipulate reality and cause chaos. I told her I felt it was you and my vision proved me right she refused to believe. The dragon is part of our family it's our symbol." Deana said.

"So the dragon is our symbol and Nona didn't want me to teach or tell me about our magic or the fact I'm the descendant the ancestors feared." Nikki said.

"Yes so I distanced myself and just let your grandmother raise you because I couldn't trust myself to take you down the right path plus with your father gone i drank and didn't know what else to do." Deana said.

"Nona was terrified by me." Nikki said heartbroken.

"No she wasn't she loved you just like I did." Deana said.

"No you didn't." Nikki said with tears in his eyes.

"No Nikki I did my alcoholism was what took control of me. Your father didn't leave because of you it was me i was just in denial which caused me to drink. Everything I said is true I'm sorry you had to hear this from me and not from Nona. Just know me and her were protecting you from what the ancestors feared would happen." Deana said.

Nikki started sobbing cause the room to rain. Deana hugged her son and said "I'm sorry honey I'm sorry I hurt you I'm sorry for the childhood you had. Please I wanna reconcile with you."

Nikki for the first time felt his mothers love and felt in her magic she wasn't lying her aura felt sad and heartbroken. He hugged back and both of them cried together causing the room to stop raining and a rainbow formed.

"I love you mom." Nikki said sobbing.

"I love you too my baby boy." Deana said sobbing then kissed his forehead.

"You really changed." Nikki said as he wiped his tears.

"Sweetie we both have." Deana said as she helped wipe Nikki's tears. "For good. Nona would be so proud for both of us."

"Mom would you like to meet tommy and my twins?" Nikki asked.

"Sweetie of course I would. I'm a grandma and have a son in law?" Deana asked.

"Well yeah obviously." Nikki said.

They both giggled.

"Well will I get more grandchildren?" Deana asked.

Nikki laughed and said "Well i want to but Tommy i don't know how he'll feel."

"Well maybe grandma can try to convince him." Deana said.

Nikki laughed again and said "Good luck."

Deana and Nikki got into the car and drove to Nikki's house to meet his family.

They both caught up on their lives and laughed.

"I love you nikki." Deana said.

"I love you too mom." Nikki said.
