Chapter 11

I looked around the large office room amazed. There was a giant expensive looking desk in the middle of the room. An even bigger window behind it with a view of the city. Next to the desk on either side were two identical book cases, filled with books. I walked over to a bookcase examining the many books. Most of them were boring business strategy books, or encyclopedia's and stuff. But one book did catch my attention. The title was 'Techniques of bondage and knot tying'. I grabbed the book and looked through it, suddenly very interested. Since I had some experience in bondage, I wasn't too shocked by some of the things. I was mostly confused as to why it was here, and more importantly on the bookshelf.

I sifted through the book I was astonished by the different patterns and techniques. They were very intricate, and beautifully done. The sound of the door closing stirred me from my thoughts, causing me to jump and drop the book I was previously looking at. Erwin looked at the book on the floor, and then back at me. My eyes widened as I tried to come up with some sort of excuse. "I have no idea how that got there. I was looking at your great collection of business books, cause they're really interesting you know. And then all of a sudden this book flew off the bookshelf right as you came in. Isn't that just the craziest thing?" I laughed nervously looking away from Erwin. When I did look back at him, I instantly stopped laughing and motioned towards the book. "I'm just gonna put this back..."

Erwin walked to his desk and sat down, watching me intently. I stood shifting from side to side, nervously messing with my hands. Finally Erwin cleared his throat, breaking the silence. "Are you going to tell me what happened? And don't tell me nothing again. You were crying on the sidewalk, while it's raining. Something happened." Remembering the events of this morning made my blood boil, but it also caused my eyes to water. I told Erwin what happened. He just sat there quietly listening intently, giving me his full attention. Not once did he interject, he just listened. While I had a mini rant. And I greatly appreciated it, I just needed to vent, and have someone there to just listen. Normally I would be telling this to Armin, but that wasn't really my first thought after what happened.

I stared at Erwin waiting for some sort of response, or advice. But he just sat there thinking. "Erwin...?" Erwin stood abruptly making his way towards me. "I'm not gonna tell you what to do, I'm just gonna say to think about the situation. And maybe talk to Levi about it. One thing I know for sure, Levi is 100% gay. He figured that out a long time ago." There really wasn't much for me to say or anything I could really say. I just nodded slowly, and looked at my feet. "Thanks Erwin. Even though I barely know you, I appreciate the advice." A smile spread across Erwin's face. "I'll have one of my guys take you back to your apartment." Erwin called in one of his men, and I was escorted to a big black SUV.

The ride home was extremely quite, leaving me to my thoughts. Thinking back on it now... I probably did over react just a little. I didn't even give Levi a chance to explain anything, or even defend himself. My heart beat picked up at the sight of the apartment. I thanked the guy before exiting the car and heading to our place.

I stopped right in front of the door. Thinking through my decision, making sure this was what I really wanted. I sighed and grabbed out my key. It doesn't matter what I want, this has to happen. I'm righting a wrong that I somewhat created. I slid the key into the lock unlocking the door. Silently I opened the door, surprised to see no lights on whatsoever. There was no sign of life at all.

Ever so quietly I walked through the apartment to the stairs, creeping my way up them. When I got to Levi's I knocked on it so softly it wouldn't have been heard if the house wasn't so quite. There was a groan from inside the room. "I-I'm coming in." I closed my eyes and slowly opened the door. Poking my head in slightly. "What are you doing, brat?" Levi's raspy voice saying my name caused a shiver to run down my spine. I opened my eyes and looked at Levi's bare chest. Levi was sitting upright in his bed, the blankets bunched at his waist, leaving his top half exposed. My focus immediately went to the shiny silver piercing in the middle of an intricate tattoo.

I really just want to play with it. "Jeager." I snapped back to reality and looked Levi in the eyes. "Sorry I was spacing out." Walking into the room and closing the door, I made my way over towards Levi. "I... I just really needed to apologize for this morning. I over reacted and didn't even give you time to respond, or defend yourself-" Levi looked up at me and sighed, "Jeager." I was in mid ramble and didn't even hear Levi. "And I really need to work on stuff like that cause most of the time I don't think before I say things. And right now it sounds like one of those cliche situations with all this drama going on. And I really like you, like alot-" "Jeager." " -and I know that's kinda weird cause you're my professor but I don't really care at this point. I guess what I'm wanting to know. Trying to say is... Do you want to be my boyfriend?"
