SANA'S POV

It's already lunch hour when I woke up. The party last night after the launching was a blast. Many guests went, including Ryu and Yuta. Ryu and Yuta are my business partners.

Hasegawa Ryu, as mentioned before, is my classmate in BYPU-Japan. We got along very well. He's a friend although he's a snob kind of man.

Nakamoto Yuta is one of my closest friends--well, Yuta and Ryu are the only friends I have. They are the people whom I trust. Yuta is my college friend. We go to the same classes and we enjoy the things we do. For short, he's the opposite of Ryu.

People ask us why don't we become a couple. We fit each other. Our parents like us for each other. My heart has been occupied since then, it has no room for Yuta. The funny thing is Yuta confessed to me before. I told him that he's just a friend. I thought he'll be mad at me or ignore me, but no. We stayed friends. Which is a good thing because our friendship grew.

Ryu went home early right after I cut the ribbon because he has to do something. And so, I was left with Yuta.

Yuta told me that he wants to come back to Japan, but I told him that he could sleep in my room. No malice intended. After all, we do that everytime.

He will sleep in my house and I will sleep in his. I know that he still likes me because he's still single. He doesn't want to go to dating sites because of me.

Poor Yuta.

I went out of my room and saw Yuta sleeping on the couch. I took the pillow and threw it to his face. Of course he got shocked. He looked at me with his eyebrows crossed.

"MINATOZAKI!" He yelled at me.

"YA! NAKAMOTO WAKE UP!" I yelled back. He sat down and rubbed his hands in his face. "What breakfast do you want me to make?"

"Ask your mom to make another Sana. That will be my breakfast." What the heck. I laughed at him and threw him another pillow. "That hurt!"

"C'mon, take a bath. You stink. I'll just make breakfast." I threw him a bathrobe and a towel and I went to the kitchen to make breakfast.

After cooking, I placed the food on the table and waited for Yuta. He came out of the bathroom with his wet hair.

Now, this is what I call a breakfast!

"Hey!" He slapped my face gently. "I thought that Kim Taehyung is the only man that you will salivate to?"

"Tss, go dress up, Yuta." I told him and he went to the room to dress. I finished my brunch, since it's already lunch time. I went to the bathroom and showered.

After dressing up, I got a text message from Kookie. We exchanged numbers last night since he's one of my guests.

From: Nochu Kookie

Me and Tzuyu will pick you up. Prepare. We'll be there in 10 minutes.

2:56 PM

I looked at Yuta who is reading a magazine.

"Hey, Nakamoto." I called him and he faced me with his eyebrows crossed.

"What do you want this time, Minatozaki?" Everytime he calls me by my surname, I remember Tae. Tae used to call me that when we were in senior high. The time that we hate each other by then.

"A party will be held at my friend's house. Come with me." I told him sincerely.

His brow raised, "Are you kidding me? It's a party. Of course I'm going!" He stood up and placed the magazine aside. "I'll change--"

"Tss. You will not attract women there, Yuta." My phone rang right before he could complain. It's Tzuyu.

"Hey! What's your room number?" She asked as soon as I answered her call.

"Just sit at the lobby. We'll go downstairs." I replied.

"Okay. See you, squirrel." She said before hunging up. I faced Yuta that is standing beside me.

"You heard my friend. Let's go!" I took my bag before locking the door. We rode the elevator.

"What was your friend's name? How is it pronounced?" He asked inside the elevator.

I looked at him weirdly, "Chewy. She's Taiwanese and she's engaged."

"Aww, that's sad." He snickered and I elbowed him. He groaned in pain. "I want to date her, though."

"Date her and the next day you'll find yourself dead somewhere." He chuckled and we got off the elevator. I immediately saw Tzuyu and Kookie, so I ran towards them. Yuta followed me.

"Hey," I greeted them and smiled. "How's it going?" They stood up and kissed me on my cheeks.

"Great. Now we gotta go to our house," Kookie chuckled and noticed Yuta beside me. "Uhm, who are you?" He asked politely.

"I'm Nakamoto Yuta. Call me Yuta." Yuta smiled and bowed.

"He doesn't speak Korean that well," I whispered them. They nodded and led us to the parking lot. "He'll go with me. He's my business partner and a close friend."

"I see," Tzuyu nodded.

"Oh wait, Sana." Yuta called me and I excused myself from the couple.

"What?"

"I have my car." He waved his car keys in the air. "Convoy?"

"Alright. I'll tell them." He nodded and I told Kookie and Tzuyu that our car will be convoyed by theirs. They agreed and we hopped into each other's car.

I was amazed by Tzuyu and Kookie's house. It's so big, the whole gang could live here.

"We're still starting, though." Kookie said when he saw me in awe. "We have to get ready for our marriage."

"When will it take place?" I asked them.

"I don't know. We made a promise," Tzuyu replied. "After you and Tae will get married."

"What? That's not gonna happen, guys. You know it. He's mad at me. He can't accept me." I sighed. There is this sinking feeling again.

"Well, we will make it work. Plus, you never broke up." Kookie said.

"What do you mean?"

"You said you'll leave him, not break up with him, Minatozaki." Yuta smacked me and I glared at him for doing that.

"What event do we have here? Why do you guys have a party?" I asked them and sat on the couch.

"Today is our anniversary," Tzuyu chuckled and my eyes got wide. "And we would like to celebrate it with you guys. Especially with you, squirrel."

"Aww, that's so sweet of you!" I hugged them.

Yuta snickered, "Squirrels eat nuts, guys. Prepare some for her." I punched Yuta's arm hard enough for him to get hurt. "Ouch!"

"You deserve it, Nakamoto." I rolled my eyes.

"Oh-kay. Let's get ready. Yoongi and Nayeon will be here any minute." I got nervous. I'll see them after 6 years. I wonder what they look like. I'm pretty sure they are already married.

Yuta and Kookie went to the garden to prepare the table and balloons, while Tzuyu and I called a food house for delivery.

After 20 minutes, the food came. We prepared it while it's still hot and by that time, we heard a car's engine.

My heart pumped blood rapidly. Okay, this is it. Time to face the reality, Sana.

"In the garden, guys." I heard Kookie open the gate.

"Thanks, Kookie." I heard Nayeon's voice. "What kind of food do you have?"

"We just ordered food," Tzuyu answered. "I'm sorry if it's not homecooked."

"It's alright." I wanna hear Yoongi's voice, but I guess I will not hear it because he's that silent type of guy.

"Nervous?" Yuta placed his arm around my neck.

"The heck I am." I sighed deep. I heard their footsteps getting closer and closer.

Until I saw them walk in with the engaged couple. They looked at me with shock.

"Sana?" Nayeon unbelievably asked and ran towards me. She gave me a big hug and Yuta walked aside to give us space. "Oh my god! This is such a surprise!"

"Y-Yeah," I escaped from the hug and awkwardly smiled at her. "How about you, guys?"

"I have something to tell you." Nayeon neared her mouth to my ears to whisper something. "Yoongi's going to be a daddy."

"Are you kidding me?!" I looked at her. She shook and laughed. "Oh my god!"

"I know, right?" She chuckled. "Yoongi." Yoongi walked towards us and smiled at me.

"Hey, squirrel." He greeted me.

"Hello, grandpa Yoongi." We laughed. "Oh, guys, I would like you to meet Yuta."

"Hi." Yuta bowed. "I'm Nakamoto Yuta. Nice to meet you."

Their mouths are left open, shocked of what is happening.

"Hey, this man right here isn't my boyfriend or husband. He's a close friend and a business partner." I explained.

They sighed in relief, "Wait. Business partner?" Nayeon said, confused.

"Uh, I kinda have a perfume line here in Korea. I just opened a branch yesterday."

"Really? Oh my god! You're really successful!" Nayeon added.

"I know, right?" Tzuyu bumped in the conversation. We heard another car engine. "I'll get it. It must be Jin and Mina."

My nervousness grew. He could come anytime. He may see me anytime.

Okay, I'll admit it. I'm waiting for Tae.
