OMNISCIENT

Even though the big, wide, green trees are covering Sana, Tae can feel her presence. It made him very nervous. His heart has never been this fast before. It feels like his heart will pump out of his chest because of the extreme, mixed and unexplainable emotions that he's feeling.

"Why did you take me here?" Tae heard Sana's inquiry. She sounded tired, presumably because of her flight from Japan. It only took her an hour to get to Korea, but she's very exhausted since she has to look after her sick friend, Ryu.

"Just be quiet. Ssh!" Tae chuckled at Momo's statement. He knows that Momo doesn't know what will she answer.

"Wait, Hobi, what are you doing?" He heard Sana's sweet voice again. It made him smile despite the nervousness. "Hey! Get your hands off my eyes!" Sana demanded. He chuckled from what he heard. "Where did you guys go?" The couple ran away from Sana and hid with the others.

Sana found her way towards the gazebo when she saw light of the candles. Her smile can't be wiped away from her face. Her eyes glisten as she saw the man standing in the gazebo. A man in pink is standing away 10 meters away from her.

She smiled and became very emotional. "Tae," she whispered. He wasn't able to hear it. He's just smiling and waiting for her.

She walked through the man-made pathway until she reached the gazebo. Until she reached him.

They gave each other a smile. This is not an ordinary smile. It is a smile where the two of them can only share.

I have never seen him smile like that before. Sana thought and it made her smile wider.

"Welcome back, Sana." He told her in a way where the two of them can only hear. "Dinner?" Sana smirked. Tae pulled a seat for her and she sat. Same did Tae.

The food has been served even before Sana came. They ate what is served by Jin's chefs.

"This food is daebak," she said while eating the food with delight. "How cooked this?"

"It came from Jin's restaurant." Tae smiled and Sana laughed softly. "How was Ryu?"

"He looks bad." Sana said with sadness in her eyes. "He's thin and pale. I hope he would recover soon." Sana sighed and continued on chewing her food. Tae felt the sad aura. Ish. Why do you have to ask her that? Now, she's sad. Tae blamed himself for turning the joyful conversation into a lonely one.

Sana sighed deep and Tae noticed that. Maybe he's thinking about Ryu. Tae did not mind what's his conscience is telling him.

While they were eating, Sana noticed a ring on Tae's ring finger. She was left shook while staring at the ring. The chopsticks accidentally fell from her right hand.

Tae noticed how she reacted. He followed Sana's stare and he found out that she was staring at the ring.

"This?" Tae took the ring out of his finger. He held it using his index finger and thumb. He held it in the air, resting his elbow on the table. "I bought this seven years ago."

"S-Seven years?" Sana asked him, confused of what he's saying. "W-What do you mean?"

"I bought this ring with my salary days before your birthday." Tae snickered while staring at the ring.

"I saved my ring finger for our wedding." Sana remembered what she said years ago. The first time that she moved to Japan. Her heart raced upon hearing Tae's sentence.

"But you moved." He looked at her sadly. Sana gulped. Her sight is glancing back and forth to Tae's face and the ring that he's holding. "I went to Japan after our graduation."

"W-What?" It made Sana shocked.

"I saw you graduate. I was with Mina," he smiled. "But I saw you with someone else. It's Ryu."

"T-Tae--"

"And the next day, I saw you inside the convenience store." Tae said with full honesty. "I bumped into you."

"Y-You were that man?" She remembered the moment that she bumped into someone while she's in a convenience store. Sana stopped from eating. She held the chopsticks down and waited for Tae's next statement.

"Yeah." He nodded. "I was very hurt to see you and Ryu together."

"But we're just friends, Tae." Sana convinced him. Tae smiled.

"I know." And then a waiter, coming from out of the blue, served their dessert. He placed it in the middle. Sana doesn't know what's their dessert, but Tae knows. "I admit that I am not the best person that you've met. I have been a bad boyfriend to you before. I was childish and immature." Sana smiled and held Tae's resting hand on the table. "I never tried understanding your situation. I'm a complete jerk."

"You're the sweetest jerk that I had met." Sana said, trying to lower down the tension that is building in between them. They both chuckled.

"Realizing my mistakes, I decided that I should change myself. The world won't always adjust for me, right?" Sana's heart is melting from his words. This is what Sana has been praying for years. Even before when she was in high school. "I still love you and I have never fell out of love for you. I just keep on falling and falling everyday for you..." he paused for a while, making Sana nervous. Her heart wants to beat out of her chest because of the nervousness. She's hoping, although hoping isn't her thing, but she hoped. She hoped that Tae would ask her to be his girlfriend. "...which brings me to this dessert." Tae smiled and Sana's shoulders fell. Her hopes are very high. She thought that he'll ask her now. Her heart sank as her shoulders fell. She's almost close to crying, because she was hurt.

But Tae held the lid from their dessert, revealing what their dessert is. Sana's expression is unexplainable, so as her emotions. She doesn't know what to react.

Their dessert is a blueberry cheesecake with a white chocolate on top that asks the question, 'Will you be my girlfriend, Minatozaki Sana?' Sana looked at Tae's smiling face.

She's so surprised, but she eventually recovered. She thought that Tae wouldn't ask her this question. She thought that it will all be a simple welcome back dinner for her. But no, it wasn't. It's something more. It's not just a simple dinner. It's a proposal. She thought and chuckled softly.

She wanted to scream yes to him. She wanted to jump all over the place. She wanted to hug and kiss the man that she loves. She wanted to tell him how much she loves him, but all what she did is, "Yes." She whispered.

Tae's happiness cannot be compared. He's too joyous at this time. "But..." Tae froze. He became nervous all of a sudden when he heard Sana's conjunction word. She slightly stood up and took the ring that Tae bought her seven years ago. "...this needs to be used." She walked towards Tae, kneeled down on one foot and took his hand. "Will you marry me, Kim Taehyung?" Tae laughed at Sana's playfulness. His tearing up, but he laughed out loud.

"Yes!" He shouted. Tae took the ring and inserted it on Sana's ring finger. Sana stood up and cupped Tae's wet cheeks. Tae is tearing up. This is very unexpected for him. We're official. We're engaged. We're officially engaged. Were the three sentences that Tae's thinking about. He kept on repeating the last sentence all over and over again.

"Thank you," Tae said with his shaking lips. "I love you." He whispered. The kind of whisper that he and Sana can only hear.

"I love you, too." Sana smiled and kissed her fiancé. It was a short five-second warm kiss. Sana's heart fluttered and the butterflies that she thought that were no longer staying inside her stomach, came back. Her crazy mind became crazier.

The air's breeze is freezing and it made the place cold, but Sana and Tae has their own warmth.

Inside a gazebo.

With the two of them.

Together.

Until the end of time.
