"Scar, have u reached yet?"

"Yes dad, I'm standing in front of my apartment's door."

"Do you have the key?"

"Yes Dad, I have the key."

"Ok now if you need anything just call me."

"Ok Dad"

I didn't know why dad always worry too much. I knew this was the first time I had come this far from home but I was already 18. I knew he loved me the most in the world that's why he said yes when I asked him for the admission in Fordham University in New York. He knew my dream very well after all.

While thinking all these things, I opened the door of my apartment. The smell of fresh paint and sand came to my senses. I took my entire luggage into the apartment and closed the door. In front, there was living room and a small TV. On one side there was a small kitchen and on the other side of there was a small bedroom.

I really liked my bedroom. It was small and sweet. there was a beautiful scenario of setting the sun in sea in front of my bedroom. I was really in the mood of admiring that but I had so much work to do. So I started with unpacking my luggage and started rearranging my clothes and things which I brought from home. The picture of Mom, Dad and me, I place it on the bedside and hanged some other pictures of my childhood in the room.

After three hours, I finally redesigned my room the way I wanted and its somewhat giving me the feeling of home. So done!

I was hungry.........so much I should eat first then think about my college. The college was starting the day after tomorrow so I had one day to enjoy the New York. Yeah!!!

I always wanted to come to New York and my dream had come true today. I was very excited. There was McDonald's near my apartment so I thought to go there first. I closed the door of my apartment and got on the lift. I was very happy of the thought of living on the third floor. While thinking about this, I met a sweet couple which was living next door to me. I thought they were in their fifties. They were very sweet and polite.

"Hello" said the sweet lady.

"Hh..Hello" I said hesitantly. The lady saw my shyness and said, "I'm Jane and this is my husband Patrick. Are you new to this neighborhood?"

I said, "Yes ma'm. My name is Scarlett"

She said, "no need to be formal my dear. You can call me Jane. If you need anything just tell me."

"Thank you Jane." I said.

As we arrived at the ground floor, I said goodbye to them and started walking towards the entrance. I was walking while thinking there were some nice people in this building.

Outside, the night had already begun. The beautiful moon was shining in the sky and there were lightning everywhere. My face totally lighted up after seeing that. After one block, there was McDonalds. I entered and gave my order. I sat on the table near the window with the outside view. The night sky was shining with beautiful stars. It was giving me the heavenly feeling. As I sat there admiring the beautiful sky, I didn't know it was already an hour. I should hurry. I quickly stepped out of McDonald.

It was already 10 so I went back to my apartment. I was a good girl type for my father so I didn't wanna sleep late in the night. I had so much work to do in the morning. After walking two blocks I reached my apartment building. It was already gonna be 10:30 so I changed in loose purple spongbob pajamas and my teddybear t-shirt and snuggled into my bed and thought about the whole day. It was okay and everything was going well so I hoped tomorrow would be like this.

When I opened my eyes, the sun had already risen up; there was 6:30 on the clock. I got up from my bed and saw the beautiful sun rise from my window. It was so magical and the reflection of sun in the sea was so beautiful and it was giving so much peace to the eyes. I changed myself in my jogging clothes and go for jogging. Jogging was one of my favorite things to do in the morning. After an hour I came back to my apartment and took the shower. Shower was so cool and relaxing. Then I went to the nearest restaurant for breakfast.

The restaurant had a very warm feeling in there. A beautiful lady came to take my order. She was in her mid forties. she had brunette hair and brown eyes. she was very nice and polite. The food here was very tasty. After the breakfast I went to the near market to get some food and the necessary things for my apartment.

I was very tired after the shopping of three hours. My legs were like they were going to fall apart. As I was thinking to rest I saw a coffee shop nearby. It was not far from my apartment so I decided to get some coffee there and took rest for sometime. I placed my bags and all other things on a table in the corner and went towards the counter to give my order. I ordered an Americano and a blueberry muffin. Yummm.........

While I was taking my coffee to my table I bumped into a guy. My coffee was already on his clothes. When I looked up there were a pair blue ocean eyes already staring at me. That guy had brown chocolate like hair and a tanned skin. It was like the sun had beautifully blessed his skin with its heat and touch. He was wearing a simple white V-neck t-shirt which was looking handsomely perfect on him. His body was perfectly built up. His face was like of an angel, an angel whom god has blessed with all his charm and magic. His lips were like a light pink color flower had just bloomed in the spring. Perfect!

As I was literally admiring his face and body and was totally mesmerized by his presence, my eyes get widened when he said, "excuse me!".

He said it very politely with a surprised look on his face. He was literally staring at me. My face turned totally red at that time.

i didn't know why i was blushing because he was looking at me like that? i didn't know what to do.

I brought back to my senses with his words. My heart started racing so fast that it seems like my heart was gonna jumped out of my mouth. my heart was beating so loud in my ears. His shirt was totally ruined. I was like OH MY GOD!!!. I really got scared at that time. and quickly said "sorry".

I immediately took my bags and quickly walked towards the exit. I heard the word 'wait' from my back but I didn't stop and ran towards the direction of my building.

Thinking what happened a while ago, I was walking at very high pace. After few minutes, I was already standing in front of my apartment building. I quickly went into the building and opened the door of my apartment. My heart hadn't settled yet so I drank some cold water, sat on the sofa and tried to calm myself. My face was all cherry red.

After sometime,I thought what happened a while ago was not good at all but that guy was so handsome. I really wanted to swim in those beautiful ocean eyes. Wanted to taste those light pink lips but I immediately shrugged off that thought.

I was here to fulfill my dreams not for some fairy tale guy.i would not distract myself for some guy. but in a small tiny corner of my heart, I badly wanted to meet that guy again, wanted to see those eyes looking at me. But i really hope i would not.............
