A/N: Ok, I wasn't sure what to do with the story line so pretend it's the next day, it's Thursday. That's important. 

You walked into school and immediately saw Pedro. You waved, "Hey Big P!" 

He looked nervous, "Hi."

You frowned, "Are you ok?"

"Not really. I have my first math test today since you started tutoring me and well, I'm not sure how I'm going to do," he said, looking at his feet.

"I'm sure you'll do amazing! You have improved so much since our first lesson, not to mention you're super smart. Plus, your siblings and me will be silently cheering you on the whole time! We've got your back," you said smiling. 

He smiled too," Thanks. I better go," he waved bye and walked away. 

" Bye!" you called.

"Hey Y/N!" Andi ran up to you cheerfully.

"Hey Andi! Why are you so happy?" you asked teasingly. 

"No reason..." Andi practically sang. You raised an eyebrow and smirked at her. "Okkkk. Billy asked me out to the Spoon!" she squealed.

"WHAT?!" people turned in the hallway to look at you because you screamed pretty loudly. "That's so cool! I'm so happy for you!" you exclaimed bouncing up and down,

"I know, I'm happy for me too!" Andi said, doing that thing where she sucked in a breath and rose on her toes before deflating. (A/N:Andi Mack fans should know what I'm talking about. I think it's adorable and  one of my favorite things about Andi.) "But enough about my love  life, how's yours?" she nudged you playfully, "How are things going with Freeedy?" she singsonged. 

You deflated like a balloon that had just popped. "They're not. I've barely seen him since Shazam ate with him in the cafeteria. People are constantly walking around him like bears to honey," you sighed, "It's just sad. People are only hanging out with him because they want to meet the Red Cyclone and other superheroes. Not because Freddy is smart,funny,kind, and really really cute." 

"Wow ok you're whipped," Andi laughed. 

At that very moment you saw Freddy walk by in the hall surrounded by the "popular posse" "And  so I was like, Vegas? More like VENUS!" Freddy was saying. Everybody laughed. 

"You're HILARIOUS Freddy,"  Diane snorted like a wart hog. You rolled your eyes and walked up to them. You just couldn't stand them playing Freddy like that. It was completely immature and shallow. And if you were being honest it pissed you off a little the way Diane was leaning so close to Freddy's face. 

"Ok look guys. Just because Bil-, the Red Cyclone ate lunch with Freddy, doesn't mean he's going to eat lunch with all of you just for hanging out with him. Freddy is friends with a superhero because he's kind of like one. He gets amazing grades, he's so kind to his siblings and is always hoping them, and he studied the fighting techniques of every superhero like EVER. But you all? You're just pretending to like him so you can be famous, you don't really care about him AT ALL. And there's nothing super about that," you state firercly, eyes glowing and hands on your hips.Everyone pretty much ran down the hallway away from you and Freddy.  (A/N: Go you! I had so much fun written that, scenes where people who are normally shy tell off the bully are always my favorite part. )

"Are you ok?" you asked Freddy, concerned. 

Freddy looked dejected. "Yeah I guess. I- I just liked people liking me, NOTICING me for once in my life. But you're right. They're all  a bunch of fakers and I don't need those people in my life," he said. He still looked sad but he still had a small smile on his face. 

"You;re welcome. And I meant what I said by the way, You-you  really are a superhero," you said blushing. 

Freddy turned red, "Th-thanks. I'll um I'll see you at lunch?" he asked looking s=down clearly flustered. You nodded and watched as he walked away, crutch in hand. You sighed a little dreamily before walking to class with a dopey smile on our face. 

***Time Skip***

You were sitting down at a table with Freddy,Billy, Pedro, Andi,Cyrus, and Tj. You frowned a little, picking at your food. Tj  was stealing Cyrus' fries while Cyrus playfully knocked his hand away and threw little packets of ketchup at him. Andi and Billy both had their heads in their hands and were flirting relentlessly. It felt like everyone was coupled off and the one person you wished was dating you, was at the table avoiding your eye contact. You coughed and tried to make conversation, "How was your math test Pedro?" you asked. 

He shrugged and started sweating a  little, "Meh, good i guess." 

You smiled ], "Good..." the awkward silence continued while the couples continued flirting. 

Finally, Freddy looked up from his head, "So Y/N I was wondering...would you um maybe sometime want to...Uh" he scratched his head. 

You cocked your head at him, "What is it?"

"Would you want to go with me to the movies? Like I don't know Friday night or something,"he asked.

Your jaw dropped, "I-I," for some reason there was something nagging you at the back of your head, something about what Freddy said, but you didn't know what it was, you were too star struck, "YES!!! I mean, that'd be chill. Does 7 sound good? I'll meet you there," you said trying to sound cool. (A/N: You know what Friday night is and I'm sure right now you're yelling at me for being evil. I'm sorry I have to cause some drama. ;))

"Sure!: Freddy said excitedly. The bell rang, "See you then!" Freddy winked at you before he left. 

Did he seriously just...wink at you? You felt like you were floating on a cloud as you dumped your tray in a trance. 

***Time Skip***

It was the end of the day, and you saw Pedro holding a piece of paper ousted the math room looking sad, well sadder then usual. 

"Hey Pedro! Is that your math test? How'd it go?" you asked excitedly. 

He held up the paper, it had a bunch of red marks on it. It had a big F on the top along with a "see me after class" at the top. You frowned. "W-what? That makes no sense! You studied so hard!" you said upset.

"Well not hard enough. I guess this means you'll have to tutor me, you can come to my house tomorrow!" Pedro said, his dark mood seemed to change in  seconds. 

You frowned. "No, that means I didn't do my job, you'll have to find a new tutor," you sighed devastated. 

"But I want you to tutor me! You helped me so much!" Pedro said desperately. 

You shook your head, "It doesn't look like I helped much. I have to go," you said salty and walked   away. Pedro frowned as he watched you go. 

You did manage to keep your head up though. The day had been filled with twists and turns but nothing could dampen your mood. Because FREDDY FREEMAN had asked you out! And nothing could stop you from seeing him ...right?

A/N: OK, I'm starting to see why authors leave books off in cliffhangers. It's so fun torturing your  readers when you know what happens.  We have 3 chapters left of this book, we're reaching the climax. Hope you guys like today's chapter! See you on monday! 

P.S. It might be a little late because my school starts on Monday and I'll have lots of homework and I'll probably be pooped.
