You've heard of superheroes like Superman. Well, I'm his cousin. I can fly, I have super-speed, you get it. I have all the normal powers. My boyfriend, Barry Allen, calls himself the fastest man alive because of his super-speed. Well, it wasn't always like this. We used to be normal.

Seven years ago, we were kids in high school. I was Marley Rose, a regular junior. He was Sebastian Smythe, a regular senior. We were in glee clubs, played sports, all the things normal kids do. Well, we became fast friends. Then, we became more than friends. We had many similarities. Both of our parents died, we both loved to sing, and we were both homeschooled before high-school by our adoptive parents (his uncle and my adoptive mom). There was one problem. We were in rival glee clubs.

I was in the New Directions, a McKinley High club notorious for Broadway stars like Rachel Berry. He was in the Warblers, an elite glee club in the Dalton school. I was a normal girl who loved to write songs, dance and watch Julie Andrews movies. I knew I had powers because I'm an alien. He knew he had powers because he got hit by a particle accelerator before he came to Dalton. No one knew our secret. This is where our story begins.

I was walking down the hall to my locker when a boy in a Dalton blazer stopped me. I recognized him as Sebastian.

"Hey gorgeous!" He said.

"Hey Seb!"

"Tonight, I want to schedule a date with the most beautiful girl in Ohio." He smiled at me with a glimmer in his eyes.

"That sounds great! What about Breadsticks? They're having a Julie Andrews marathon!"

"Of course, we can go there!" Sebastian said. "I love Julie!"

I punched him in his arm playfully. "Julie?" I questioned. "That's what you call her?"

"Yes, that's what I call her. Okay, you better get to glee club practice."

I smiled at him. "I want you to come with me Barry." I whispered.

"I will Kara." He whispered back.

"Scarlet Speedster be quiet!" I giggled.

"Girl of Steel you can't tell me what to do." He said playfully.

He started tickling me and I erupted in giggles. We ran into the glee club room giggling as we found our seats.

"Welcome back, Sebastian." Mr. Schuester said.

"Thank you, sir." He said in a manly voice.

Oh no. The giggles were coming back. I started giggling again and everyone looked at me and Sebastian.

"Okay everybody, today's assignment is, drum roll please, LOVE SONGS!" Mr. Schuester said excitedly.
