RAGHAV'S POV

"You rocked man" Aarav spoke as he barged into conference room.

"You're uninvited" I stated

"I invited myself " He grinned and I looked at him annoyed

"Security status ? " I asked and he nodded

"Bhabhi sa is making you do things none in the world can. I'm so damn impressed" He said and I glared him.

"Okay okay" He raised his hands when I saw his phone ringing on the table.

I looked at him raising a brow when he grabbed his phone and chuckled nervously.

"I've an important meeting. Bye" He said and ran from there where as I ignored that.

"Rana sa, the meeting is in ten minutes. Clients are here" Mr. Diwaan said as I left the conference hall and moved towards cabin.

"Get the team ready" I commanded to which he nodded and then looked at me.

"Shoot" I spoke

"Mr. Singh called" He said

"Papa? " I asked and he nodded as he handed me my phone and I dialled him back.

"Khammaghani papa" I wished as he picked

"Ghanikhamma Raghav. I saw the news" He spoke and I waited for him to continue.

"Is Janki okay. Did something... Happen" He asked and being her dad he had all the rights to know hence I told him what happened but in brief.

"You just gave a public statement Raghav. I know you must've thought something and did that but..." He spoke but then stopped

"Papa, Janki has a heart full of innocence. And I don't want her to loose that innocence that's why, I made it clear to people that saying a word to her will directly mean saying anything to me. I don't want her to do something in the pressure of being a Queen. I don't want her to change herself. At all." I told

And of course, I can't see a tear in her eye!

"I know this won't even be necessary to say, but take care of her" He said

"Assured" I said and as we cut the call, I looked at Mr. Diwaan.

"Let's get going" I mumbled and went to the cabin and after a while headed for meeting.

As the meeting proceeded, I looked at the time.

"So Mr. Mukharjee, I'll get it short and straight, this is what our company has to offer. If it's a yes, you've 30 seconds. If no, then 10 seconds." I stated looking at my watch.

"Of course a yes Rana sa. The deal is on" He replied and Mr. Diwaan slid the papers to his side.

I looked at my watch again when Mr. Mukharjee spoke.

"You seem to be in a hurry Rana sa" He asked and I looked at him.

"My time is precious." I curtly replied which he took as a sign to stop damn talking and sign the papers.

"Mr. Diwaan, I'm leaving. See to the legal documents and send it to Mr. Singh's office" I told and he nodded

As I left the office, I again looked at the time.

"Robin, get in touch with Walter and ask about Raani sa's where abouts" I commanded as he opened the door and I sat inside.

"On it Raana sa" He said closing the door and sat on the passanger seat.

After a minute he cut the call and spoke.

"Raani sa has already left the hospital" He told

"What! When" I asked

"Half an hour ago Rana sa" He replied and I nodded.

Was she angry on me for doing this!

As I reached palace, I went inside seeing mom and dad talking about something.

"Here he's" Dad said and I went near by.

"What happened" I asked

"You tell us what happened! This sudden statement " Mom questioned

"Why? Anything wrong" I questioned back

"No. Indeed not. But something has happened which we're unaware of" Dad spoke

"It's taken care of Dad. No need to worry" I said

"Yes but, is Janki okay" Mom asked worried

"That you tell me. She came home right" I asked

"Yes she did. But she behaved very normal as if she didn't know it. That's why I asked does she even know" Mom demanded

"I'll see you after wards. And don't worry" I assured and went directly to the room.

But as I entered the room, I didn't see anyone.

"Sunshine... " I called but there was no reply.

"Where is Raani sa" I asked the security outside the third floor.

"She went to terrace hukum" He told and I nodded.

"Dismissed" I commanded and he nodded while I went to the terrace.

As I stepped in, I saw Janki sitting on the grass, with a box of brownies that dad gave her in the morning and a book.

And she was engrossed in the book as I went near her.

"Missed me? " I whispered in her ear and she gasped as the brownie in her hand slipped on the grass.

"Rana sa" She muttered with her one hand on chest and then looked at the fallen brownie.

"You ruined my brownie" She whined

"I owe you one then" I asked as I removed my shoes and sat on the grass near her.

"You owe me two now" She said

"The calculations? " I questioned

"Does you giving me brownies come under calculated things" She asked looking at me and I sighed contented to see that playful glint in her eyes.

"Nothing in this world needs to be calculated sunshine if you want it" I said and she blinked her eyes smiling at the book.

"You didn't wait for me to pick you up" I asked

"I thought you'll be late and moreover you can't take a way totally opposite just to pick me up everyday" She replied

"Well, I can. " I shrugged

"But you won't. I've car and your highness's security " She deadpanned and then again looked into the book.

Well, I'm not against book but her undivided attention was on book and I hate it.

"Thank you for today" She said after a while and I looked at her.

"Though, it made me a talk of the town again for sure, but thank you for standing for me" She added

"You asked me yesterday right, that would I come to save your goodness. Here I'm Sunshine. To save your innocence and goodness from this cruel world. Because before they could look at you, they need to answer their king" I stated

"And stop saying me thank you" I added

"Why are you early? " She asked

"Just wanted to make sure you're okay" I said

"You can't skip office like this just to make sure I'm okay" She exclaimed

"Well, I can leave the office whenever I want. I'm the boss" I smirked

"Raghav, you're self obsessed" She said

"I never denied that" I stated

"It's cold Sunshine. Why are you sitting here" I asked after a while

"This is my favorite part of palace. I love being here" She said

"You love terrace" I spoke

"I love garden. I love the open sky. Look there. The crescent moon" She pointed to the moon in the sky.

"The pink sky" She added

"You don't like four walls" I said and she looked at me for a second and then looked away.

"It's not like that" She lied

"Lie" I said and she sighed

"I don't like being alone in four walls. I feel more like, I'm caged" She mumbled

"What's bothering you Janki" I asked sincerely and she looked at me for a second but then stood up.

"You ask too many questions Raana sa" She said

"Yet, I don't get answers" I replied and looked at the hand she offered for me to stand up.

"Because everytime you help me. So I thought to help you" She smirked

"Help me? " I asked with a slight smirk and taking her hand, I pulled her hand such that she fell directly on me.

"Raghav.. " She shrieked as her palms rested on my shoulder while my hands were around her waist.

"Yes Sunshine" I questioned

"You made me fall" She whined

"Raghav... " She whispered and I looked at her eyes.

"I like your eyes" I said and a light pink shade just lien that of the sky appeared on her face as she looked away.

"Don't look away Sunshine. I like to read you" I added

"You read me? " She asked shocked

"And I like this deep effect on you" I said and she raised her brow.

"Come out of your wonder land Rana sa. You don't have any deep affect on me" She spoke in derision.

"Sure? " I smirked

"Of course " She stated when I pulled her more closer to me.

Her heart beat increased as her nose touched mine and she held the collars of my shirt for support.

"How was your first day at work" I asked

"Aa.. G.. It was... Good" She stammered and I chuckled

"And? " I asked as my fingers travelled all the way from her palm to her neck.

"A.. And? " She repeated when I chuckled removing my hands from her waist.

"Sure I don't affect you a bit" I mocked and she looked at me and then glared at me.

"You.. You're bad" She whined standing up.

"I just gave a live example of I do affect you a lot" I shrugged

"You're mean. You're.. Bufo. And that is why I call you Mr. Jerk. Because as soon as you do something so good for me that I feel, Oh Janki you're being too rude with him but then next moment you just do something like this and I feel, Yes Janki, burn down all his closet and with that his Mac book. You're doing great" She mimicked herself to which I really wanted to chuckle but I didn't looking at her angry face.

"I just told you to listen to your heart Sunshine. I just told what your heart is saying" I said where as she kept both her hands on waist and looked at me.

"You know what, if I get a chance, I also would love to issue a public statement telling that I hate you" She snapped and before I could speak she again spoke.

"And you Mister Raghav Singh Rathore, it's my wish whatever I listen to. And you've no idea what I listen to" She huffed while I stood up.

"Then tell me, what do you listen to Sunshine when it comes to heart and mind" This time I asked her seriously and she looked at me for a second and then came closer to me and stood in front of me.

"I'm very peculiar in this Rana sa. When it comes in between my heart and brain, I always, always choose..." She spoke and then looked at me while I took deep breath.

"My STOMACH!! " She snapped and I looked at her amused.

That wasn't expected at all!

That's Janki, and you never know what next is going to leave her mouth!

But what more can I expect from this kid!!!

"So mature of you" I said

"Yes it is. And you Mr. Raghav Singh Rathore. You killed one of my brownies. And I want two brownies now. And you've eight minutes. If I don't get my two brownies, do not dare to enter King's Abode " She warned showing her forefinger and left from there.

"Now this is what I can't afford at all" I said to no one in particular and pulled out my phone.

"Robin, brownies in next five minutes" I commanded over call and then moved downwards.

"We're not sure if we'll be joining" Mom said over call

"We'll be. I and Janki" I told and she looked at me and then again spoke over call.

"Well, Rana sa & Raani sa would join you" She said and then cut the call.

"You're going to Jag Mandir Palace for sure" She asked

"She would like that! It's the best event of night hence I want her to see it. After all December 31st comes once in an year" I said and she smiled nodding where as I saw Robin coming.

"The Brownies Raana sa" He spoke and before I could say, the true owner of the brownies came and spoke.

"These are mine. Not his. I mean does he even look like he would eat these." She said and Robin looked at me while I nodded.

"What! Seriously! Robin" She snapped while he looked down.

"People who eat brownies are sweet like me. Not shrewd like him" She muttered to which mom chuckled

"I'm sure, you pissed her off" Mom said

"She's hungry. Nothing else" I shrugged

"Robin, dismissed" I commanded and he went away where as she looked at me.

"I Hate your son. He wasted my one brownie" She announced to mom and jumped on the couch opening the brownies.

"She's so cute" Nivedita spoke coming

"That I'm. Unlike other people who are... Bufo" She mocked

"Sunshine, we need to get ready for a party" I said and she looked at me.

"Fwarwal eeavent " She asked with brownie stuffed mouth.

"Not a formal event. It's new year night" I said and she looked at me swallowing her brownies.

I'm sure she can kill for brownies!

"Shit! I just forgot. Oh My God. Where are we going" She asked excited

"Jag Mandir" I told

"Oh My God. Really. " She exclaimed happily and everyone chuckled where as I raises my brow.

"The fire works are beautiful Janki. You would love it. Pratap used to take me there. We used to count the last ten seconds you know. " Mom told

"That must have been a perfect New Year Start" Janki whispered while I looked at her.

"I'll, get ready" She mumbled finishing her brownie .

"Mom, do I wear... Some.. " She was asking when mom spoke.

"Anything you like. Everything you like" Mom said and she smiled at her.

"Select something for me too. I'll be there in five" I told and she nodded going.

After a while as I went there, I saw my clothes already placed out.

Taking it, I changed into the clothes and as I waited for her to open the door of walk in, I heard heels.

"Heels and you don't go hand in ha... " I turned to say but my words died in my mouth looking at her.

If beauty has a name, name her Janki!!
