JANKI'S POV

"What the hell are you doing here" I snapped angrily at the man standing in front of me.

"Calm down. I'm here for long now" He smirked when Walter punched him on his face.

"What the fuck. Don't do this. You'll really regret it" He said and I glared him.

"Walter, call the police" I commanded

"Rana sa has ordered to not let him even a bit near you" He told

"Really! I mean, I'm sure right now it would've been this case but, it'll change in some minutes." That bastard spoke

"Stop messing around Randhir. You've done enough already. And I don't understand that was the humiliation less last time that you're shamelessly standing here knowing that this time Raghav will for sure kill you without even thinking for milli second" I angrily said

"Oh my dear de.." He was saying when I glared him

"Don't you dare" I warned when he chuckled

"Okay okay. But yes, wait for some minutes your own Rana sa will order you to let me go from here. And I remind you, if something happens to me in meanwhile, you're getting fired for sure by your boss" He said to Walter when he angrily punched him again.

"Walter stop" I commanded before he could punch him again.

"What are you Randhir? How can you take so much beatings and yet stand up here without shame. And trust me, Raghav would kill you. Why do you want that" I calmly spoke when he chuckled

"Trust you? You trust me! Give me fifteen minutes. I bet I'll prove you wrong" He smirked when I glared him.

"Why don't you get the fuck out of here. I've more works to do then to sit here and prove you something shitty" I snapped and turned my heels to go when he spoke something that made my legs freeze.

"6 years back. Evening of 18th December" He spoke and I halted.

I looked back and him and glared him as my eyes became red.

"What did you say" I asked and he smirked

"16th to 18th would've been so tough for you right" He said

"Who the fuck to.. Oh. How couldn't I connect the dots. That bastard! What the fuck you both want" I snapped

"What he wants is Raghav's to deal with. What I want.. Well it's also Raghav's to deal with. But that Raghav can't provide me now. So, I just want revenge from him" He shrugged

"Wh.. What revenge" I asked

"Now that's what I like. The stammering" he smirked and I glared him.

"Get to the fucking point" I snapped

"Sure I will. But how about you send this man pointing gun at me out" He asked

"Fuc.. " It was Walter who was speaking when I stopped him.

"Wait outside" I said

"I'm sorry Raani sa. I can't leave you alone here with this man" He denied

"Walter. It's an order" I commanded and he looked at me for a second but then went out.

And I looked at him.

"If you, for even a single time try doing any thing, I swear I'll kill you right here. And remind yourself, I'm not kidding" I warned and he smirked

"Whooh. Salty and spicy huh" He smirked and I was about to punch him when he pulled himself back.

"Now this isn't what will be considerable Janki" He said and I glared him.

"Come directly to the fucking point" I snapped

"Armaan told me. He's obsessed with you. He wants to have you back." He said it so casually but my soul from inside shuddered

"Fuck off bastards. Raghav will kill him before he would even touch me" I deadly spoke and he chuckled

"Raghav is having a little chit chat with him at his office. And trust me, what Raghav is going to know about you, he's going to leave you. Forever" He said and I laughed at this.

"You surely hit your head in some accident" I laughed but he smirked just looking at me.

And this tensed me.

"What the fuck is wrong with you" I snapped

"Janki, I'm sure you know about the dead Rathores" He asked smirking and I glared him.

"Don't you dare take their name from your filthy mouth" I snapped

"So you know. Good that Raghav told you. Conversing will be easy" He chuckled

"Do you know when did that accident happen? " He asked and I looked at him.

"Some.. 6 years ago. But why the hell are you talking about it" I gritted

"Just for knowledge tell me, when did Armaan kidnap you" He asked

"6 years ago." I muttered

"Where" He asked again

"Jaipur. So what" I snapped

"And where did accident happen" He asked

"Jaipur highway" I stated

"And what was the date, you ran away" He asked

"Why the fuck are you asking me all this" I yelled

"Just tell Me" He asked

"18th December" I replied

"And accident.. " He asked

"I don't know" I snapped again when he smirked and turning on his phone, he showed me a newspaper cutting.

The Crown Prince, Yuvraaj Abhimanyu Singh Rathore and Yuvraani Araadhna Rathore met with an accident yesterday night and are dead.

"What's the date of accident Janki" He asked and as I looked at the date of newspaper.

December 19th.

Day after the incident!

And I looked at him shocked.

"Don't get shocked by this Janki.. But just focus on your mind. Do you remember when you were running away, there was a car brutally broken and trashed" He asked

"I.. How can I know" I said

"Tsch. Focus focus" He asked and I didn't know why I closed my eyes trying to remember that dreadful night.

The night I never wanted to even imagine.

"I.there was a car on the highway. Almost.. Almost ruined" I said as tears were already coming out of my eyes.

"Janki, you stopped for some seconds, looked at the car but you ran away saving your own life. Leaving two people to die. Actually three. Unborn Megha too" He said

"What. No. I didn't" I screamed when he laughed

"You did Janki. I've proof" He shrugged

"Just go away from here" I screamed when he turned on his phone and showed me a video.

There was.. Me running and then there was a car.. Rathore's....

I looked at the car for some seconds and I ran away.

It was like the earth was sweeping beyond my feet.

"I.. No.. I didn't... " I tried to say but words died inside my mouth.

I was there. I.. Helped myself rather then helping them.

I.. Would've saved them. I would've. . " I whispered as tear left my eye.

"Yes you would've. But you chose yourself. How could you be so mean" He asked and I felt as if I was floating in guilt.

Megha's face was coming in front of my eyes.

Raghav's face was coming in front of my eyes.

"And you know what, Armaan is right now telling him the same" He smirked and I looked at him.

What.. How would Raghav.. How will I even look into his eyes.

How will I look into everyone's eyes after this.

How could I be this selfish.

Before Anyone of us could speak anything, the door opened and I saw Robin entering with gun in his hand and punched that man first.

"Robin" I stopped

"I'm sorry Raani sa. But I have orders from Rana sa to take him away" He said

"Really! I'm not sure! " Randhir spoke

"Yes you bastard" Robin muttered punching him once more and he was about to take him away when his phone rang.

Robin's eyebrows furrowed and he picked the call.

"Yes Rana sa" He spoke and I heard that man laughing.

"But Rana sa you to.. " Robin was saying before which I heard a yell from even inside the phone and he nodded cutting the call.

"Wh.. What happened" I asked because I wasnt able to believe the face that Robin had.

"I've orders to let him go" He said his face hung low.

"And there.. Now what about the punches you both shit heads gave me" Randhir asked as he punched Robin on his face where as he shut his eyes but didn't even speak a word.

"Stop it Randhir. Stop it. They were doing their duty. Raghav commanded you to go right, then fucking go away" I snapped

"You care a lot about everyone Janki. But this guilt will eat you forever. You didn't care about Three people. " He smirked

"We'll meet again. " He added and giving that disgusting smile he left.

I looked at Robin who was about to leave when I stopped him.

Going to the near by refrigerator, I picked out an ice bag and came handing him that.

"This will be managed Raani sa" He assured and I nodded.

"Leave me alone for sometime. Robin, please go back to Raghav. And Walter out of the cabin for sometime. Don't let anyone come inside" I told and they nodded doing the same.

As I slumped on my chair, tears left my eyes slowly and then small sobs.

I've seen Raghav tensed quite few times regarding this. On his birthday, I remember how cooking a meal, he was remembering them.

I remember how he once told me that I wished there was any witness of that accident.

I.. I was the one. Unknown to me, I was the witness and..

Damn it!

How am I even going to look into Megha's eyes and live when I was the one who left her mother to die.

This made me cry more and I don't know what to even do.

Having a bizzare headache made me go palace early but today, my legs weren't ready to go inside.

"Raani sa, are you okay? Should I call someone" The guard asked and I denied.

"Why have your steps halted Janki" A voice boomed from behind and I looked to find Raghav.

But what shocked me wasn't his voice.. It was his word.

Janki!!

I looked at him to find him directly looking at me.

His eyes..slight red and his hand.. I gasped.

"Raghav.. What have you done" I shrieked taking his hand in mine which had blood.

"Don't worry Janki" He said his eyes boring into mine and.. It frightened me.

"We.. We need to first aid this" I whispered as my eyes became teary.

"No need. It'll be taken care of" He stated and this was the first time...

First time I found Raghav pulling himself away from me.

And it pained. It pained like hell.

"Ra.. Raghav please. " I whispered when he didn't say a word and went inside.

He.. Walked away from me.

The person, who never, ever let me walk away from him, today walked away from me.

He knows about it.

He.. Knows what happened.

He.. He's right at his place to blame me.

When I myself blame me, why won't he.

Why won't Megha!

Why won't anyone in the family.

I felt as if...

Today everything was going to be snatched away from me.

As I somehow walked inside, I saw everyone there and especially that bastard Armaan Ranawat.

Today my blood boiled looking at him.

But who was I kidding. Wasn't I the one at fault.

"Mom... Look what I got today" It was Megha who came running with a trophy.

"You won? " I asked smiling but I knew I would cry anytime.

"Yes. I solved the crossward just like you taught. I came first" She grinned and I smiling kissing her cheek.

"You d.. " I was saying before which a voice spoke.

"Megha, have you had dinner" Raghav asked

"Yes dad. " She replied

"Good. Go and sleep then. It's already half past eleven" He spoke and she nodded and kissed my cheek as she left.

I looked at Raghav who for once looked at me but then without a word left.

"What happened to him? Did you both fight" Mom asked when a lump formed in my throat.

How am I even showing my face to them.

"I'll.. Ch.. Change" I mumbled and without waiting for a second I left for King's Abode.

As I went there, I looked at walk in door closed.

Hence I sat on the bed waiting for him to come out.

After some twenty minutes, I saw Raghav coming out his hand still undressed.

He's so clever to hide it from everyone at home by putting it inside picket of his trouser.

I took the first aid kit and went near him.

"Wasn't I clear when I said I don't need it" He asked very calmly but I didn't speak a word and grabbed his hand.

"Shout on me, scream, punish if you want. Please don't take away this right" I whispered looking at him as a tear left my eye and after that he didn't speak a word.

I did the first aid and stood up but when he was going, I stopped him.

"Please say something. I.. If you w.. Want.. You.. You ca.. Can.. Di.. Divo.. " I was saying but before that I looked at him to find him getting damn angry and his hand travelled from my side hitting directly to the mirror behind me which shattered into pieces.

I flinched at the intensity and I looked at his freshly bandaged hand which was again bleeding.

Tears came out of my eyes when I saw him this angry. He was.. Raging.

"I.. I'm sor.. " I was about to speak when he yelled.

"Not a Word" He warned and it was like my mouth was zipped.

"Have dinner. And Leave" He said and without waiting for a second, he left me.

And I was going to be homeless.

Because after all... Home isn't a place.

Home is a person!

And here, my home walked away from me.
