JANKI'S POV

After a heated argument with Mr. Jerk, well which gave me weird sensations when he pulled me towards him...

Ugh... The sensations.

Well yes, I went to Raani sa and asked her if I could change it. And when she said yes, Mr. Jerk again behaved like jerk..

Though I thought to give a try to her normal schedule first.

Hence I decided to wait for a day or two so that I can read her more.

In these two days, I kept minimum contact with Yuvraaj.

Honey, he wasn't at palace since last two days! So he kept that minimum contact.

Not you!

Okay fine whatever!

Every day as I woke up, I tried going to Megha initiating a conversation with her but she dismissed them just like her father.

I tried to engage with her more at lunch and dinners but she either kept quiet or else she would've thrown a fit of everyone disturbing her.

One thing I came to know was, she wanted to stay alone. She didn't want people to be around her.

That wasn't wrong if she enjoyed her solitude, but she was avoiding people.

"Hey mom" I spoke as I was with mom on video call when I found her beaming with happiness.

"Whoa!! What" I asked

"You're going to be an aunt! " She grinned showing me bhabhi and I looked at her shocked

"Oh My God!! Bhaii, bhabhiii! Wow! Oh My God! Congratulations" I exclaimed happily

"You too! I'm missing you more now di" Bhabhi said

"I miss you more. I wish to run from here right now and come to you" I whined to which they chuckled

I sighed in frustration too now.

What was I doing since two days! Nothing!

"What happened Janki" Mom asked

"Nothing mom. I'm tired already. I've nothing to do for the whole day" I sighed

"You've two works there and you say you've nothing to do" She asked

"Who let's me do that? That child is.. I really feel bad for her but she's never ready to listen. She dismisses me on face. Sometimes I feel, am I a doctor or a joke here" I frowned

"You're new to her. She'll take time to get easy around you right" Mom said

"But she has to try otherwise how can I proceed with treatments. She's not ready to cooperate even a bit. I'm not here for just sitting in a Royal chamber, looking out of the windows and doing.. Well Nothing" I huffed

"You're in Udaipur. You can roam around" Bhabhi said

"Everyone here at palace might think, I'm just misusing the Royal treatment" I said

"Oh come on. It's nothing like that. Moreover as you told that everyone else is so good with you then why would they have any problem" Bhabhi asked

"Everyone else excluding Mr. Jerk" I huffed and she chuckled

"You shouldn't say like that Janki. He's Yuvraaj " Mom scolded

Yuvraaj, blaahhh !! Huh!!

"Janki, you need to be patient with her. I'm sure you'll do it" Mom encouraged

"I hope that before my patience gives up, she just cooperates" I muttered

"She's kid. You're her doctor. Just don't frighten her" Mom giggled

"Yeah yeah. Come and see the kid for once. Then you'll know" I chuckled

"Okay bye now. I'm just going to reschedule her whole day. May be that helps" I said and bidding mom and bhabhi night, I kept my phone.

Being tired by doing nothing whole day, I just slept and next morning as I woke up, got ready had my breakfast and came back to my room.

The only thing I remember in this palace is way to my room from living room and vice versa.

And then after I made the chart, had lunch directly and then when I saw everyone free in evening, I again asked for some palace help to take me to Raani sa.

As I told her about the schedule, she was really glad to listen to it hence hoping that Megha would like it too, I asked for Megha's room.

And Raani Sa ordered someone to take me to her room as everyone else were going out.

As I went there, I knocked on the door.

"In" Her faint voice came and I went inside to see Sanjana combing her hairs.

"Hey Megha baisa" I greeted and she just looked at me.

"Am, making fish tails?" I asked pointing her hairs..

"What does it look? " She asked

"Am yeah. Such a dumb question to ask" I chuckled at my own joke.

Like father like daughter. Both of them are intimidating.

"Well, what do you usually do after 1 pm Megha baisa" I asked

"None of your concern" She replied and I sighed

"I came to know that your time after one is free. So you know, I rescheduled your whole day. See,you wake up at 8 and get ready till 9am. Morning physio sessions are really helpful and good so 9-11 I'll be taking physio sessions. At 11 you used to have your classes. But we'll need to shift that. From 11-12 you'll take rest for while and then from 12 to 1 pm you'll have your therepy sessions. After having lunch, you'll sleep for a while and then as you wake up, from 2 pm till 6 pm you'll have your classes. After some rest, you'll be doing some of your hobbies which ever you'll like and then dinner and then before sleeping revising home works, bed time story, you'll sleep. So how's that" I asked narrating my idea when she looked at me and glared me.

"You changed my whole schedule without asking me" She angrily spoke

"Am, it's n.. " I was about to say when she forwarded her wheel chair with automatic moment taking Sanjana with herself outside. And I was standing in the room looking confused at her.

"Megha if.. " I was saying just to be cut off by the kid again.

"Megha Baisa is for you" She said sassily and sighed

As I was about to say anything she gestured one of the palace staff .

"Lock the room" She said

"Wait what" I asked shocked

"Megha baisa she's.. " Sanjana tried to say when she glared her as well as the palace security who bowed his head and before I could move my legs out of that damn room, it locked.

"Wha.. What the hell is this. Megha.. Megha baisa" I banged the door

"If she's out of the room before I say, your job is gone" Her voice came

"This isn't what I came here for " I screamed but to the walls.

And in another minute, the light too went off.

"What the fuck" I screamed looking at the dark room.

I searched for my phone just to remember that, it was in charging.

Fucking great!!

"Open the door someone." I screamed as tears left my eyes and after some minutes, I knew it was waste to even bang the door.

Palaces... Palaces aren't fully secure.

It's dark!!! It's dark!!

The fear engulfed me and I sat in the corner of that dark room keeping my head on my knees.

"I'm done with this" I whispered to no one yet tears came out of my eyes.

And I don't know when I started feeling suffocated and my body gave up to stay open eyed as I fainted.

RAGHAV'S POV

"You did what" I asked Megha shocked

"What happened Ms. Wagh" I demanded

"Dr. Singh told Megha baisa that she changed her schedule, so, she locked her and warned security to not open the door" Sanjana sighed telling me

"She's not listening to anyone Raghav. What is this attitude" Mom snapped at me

"When no one's home, she threatens the security on your name" Mom again angrily spoke

"Which room" I asked Ms. Wagh

"Megha baisa's" And without waiting for a second I ran towards the room.

And as I opened it, I saw it all dark.

"What happened to damn lights. Security" I yelled when Megha's security came.

"What's about light" I asked when they both looked down.

"Get the damn lights on from outer source you idiots" Dad snapped at them and they ran doing the same.

As the lights were back, I stepped inside and looked at a fainted figure near Megha's bed.

"Shit! Dr. Singh.. " I said going towards her.

"Dr. Singh.. " I tapped her shoulder but getting no response, I picked her up in arms and made her lay down on Megha's bed.

Wake up!! Wake up!!!

"Water anyone" I commanded and mom handed me same and taking it I sprinkled some of her face when she blinked her eyes and slowly opened it.

"Ghosttt" She shrieked as she saw me.

Do I look like a Ghost to her!!

She made me a PA first and now Ghost!!

"Dr. Singh" I warned when she looked around and sat up with a jerk.

And her eyes went to Megha who hid herself behind me.

She looked at me for a second and at dad.

"I would like to inform that I'm no longer part of this. I would like to leave tomorrow morning itself" She announced and everyone looked at her shocked.

"Janki but.. Oh Lord. I can't even say you to consider something after this act of Megha baisa" Mom said

"I know Megha baisa was wrong but we were relaying on you Janki beta " Dad too spoke but she looked angry.

"Will everyone be out for minutes. I need to talk to Dr. Singh" I spoke when Yash looked at me.

"Megha needs to apologize" He said looking at Megha whose face was already down

"She will. Everyone leave, Megha baisa stay" I stated and Dr. Singh looked at me for a second annoyed and was standing up when I glared her.

"Not you" I said

"You said everyone" She spoke

"I hope my first sentence didn't go unheard Dr. Singh" I stated and she huffed yet nodded.

And in another half minute, everyone was out except two of them.

"What was that Megha" I asked and she looked down.

"Eyes on me when I talk" I warned and she looked at me.

"You know what you did? This isn't what we teach you. This isn't what I teach you" I said

"Why you did this" I further asked

"She changed my whole schedule. Without asking me" She said

"She asked me. And I'm glad with that decision. Was that too much to ask for? " I questioned when Dr. Singh looked at me shocked but then looked away.

I know I didn't agree before but.. Who cares right now.

"I don't want anyone. I'm okay like this. I don't want her to pity me" Megha said tears forming in her eyes when Dr. Singh's eyes softened

"I never pity you Megha Baisa. I want you to get healed completely. And I think I can do that, which is why I'm here. But I'll need your coordination for that. Not this. Not you disrespecting me this way" Dr. Singh spoke and Megha looked at floor.

"Everyone failed at it. You aren't God to do that. Even if everything is good, I know I'll be on this wheelchair forever. I'm stuck on it. Even the thumb doesn't move. And you being so happy and cheery around me annoys me because you're trying to make me feel that everything is okay. But it's not. I'm clearly not a normal kid " Megha said and I looked at her as my heart pierced.

Dr Singh sighed and stood up from the bed just to stumble on her leg and I don't know how I just held her hand.. Again.

"Sorry.. Thankyou" She mumbled detaching her hand away frome mine and bent on her knees in front of Megha.

Even though she looked pale and tired, she was on her knees in front of Megha.

"I'm not God but I'm a doctor who knows that there are possibilities of you getting out of this wheel chair. The diplegic people if make up their mind, they can control their movements. It's very hard but not impossible. And I rely on that possibility" She spoke and this was the first time I've seen Dr. Singh talking seriously.

"And everything around is beautiful if you look at it that way. I want you to be happy and cheery with me. Not you locking me behind doors" She pouted and I looked at her.

"I'm sorry" Megha mumbled and this honestly came out as a shock to me because.. Megha and sorry doesn't go hand in hand.

Just like you!!

Yeah, Just like me!!

"You're really sorry? " Dr. Singh asked raising her brow when Megha nodded her head.

"Then promise me one thing, from tomorrow onwards, you'll cooperate with me" She added

"What if this time too it's zero affect" Megha asked

"I promise Megha baisa, one month, and I'll make atleast a toe move. " Dr. Singh determined

"And what if that doesn't happen" Megha asked

"Then I'll write you a sorry letter, pack my stuff and leave before you'll even know" Dr. Singh said and Megha sighed.

"But if that happens, you'll do any one thing that I Say, deal " Dr. Singh asked with her one plam infront of Megha and Megha looked at her and then smiled a bit putting her palm on hers.

"Deal" Megha replied and Dr. Singh kissed her palm which was in her hand.

"Are you still angry on me" She asked

"No Megha baisa. As long as you don't lock me again" She winked to which Megha denied with a small smile.

"Okay, so tomorrow 9 am sharp" Dr. Singh said looking at her and then looked at me.

"We've settled our personal issues Yuvraaj. Dare you scold her now" She warned showing her forefinger to me when I raised my brow and shaking my head at her idiocy, I wished Megha good night and came out of the room.

As I came to my room, changed and took a shower, all I could see was Dr. Singh lying unconscious, talking to leave but then talking to Megha as if nothing happened.

How can a person be so simplified!!

I chucked off the thoughts away and after dinner went to sleep.
