JANKI'S POV

"Welcome to your Hospital, Dr. Janki Raghav Rathore" He spoke while I looked shocked at everything and especially him.

"Me? " I asked still shocked

"Yes sunshine. You" He replied

"But... I.. No Raghav. I just needed to work. Not this. This... It's a big respon.. " I was saying before which he spoke.

"And I know, I'm not a person for this. This is health industry. And I'm a person from hospitality industry. You're a doctor, you're a master in HA. You've run a hospital before. " He said

"You don't know what you're doing. I don't des.. " Before I could say he came near me and put his finger on my lips.

Damn you jungle monsters!

You didn't need to squirm inside my tummy at such a moment!

I averted my eyes from his finger on my lips to his eyes.

"You deserve it. Totally. And I know what I'm doing Sunshine. I've seen the graphs of your hospital in Delhi. I'm in no way giving away the directorship of the healthcare to my wife. I'm giving it to Doctor Janki Rathore" He said and a tear left my eye.

"When did you do all this" I asked too overwhelmed where as he wiped the tear first.

"The day you agreed to marry me" He told

"It's been.. More then three months." I said

"Legal documentations needed time. And, more then that, I wanted you to tell me, state me that you're going back to work. But rather then that, you were asking me that you want to work" He spoke

"But, what about my hospital in Delhi" I asked

"How you've been handling it till now" He questioned

"From here. Some meetings and bhai too help" I replied

"It's on you if you want to merge that with this hospital or else run it seperately. It's your call. " He said

"Merge it. It'll be easy for me that way. But, are you really sure that I ca.. " I was saying when he glared me.

"Okay! Okay! " I muttered and he opened a drawer and pulled out some papers.

"Ready To be the MD" He asked and I looked at him as he forwarded a pen to me.

"You asked everyone at home about this" I asked

"They know this. Everyone was just waiting for you to talk about work by yourself" He answered and I took the pen signing them.

And just then I heard a click sound and looked up to find Raghav capturing me on his phone.

"I, don't know how it works here" I muttered

"You'll have staff standing on a toe for that. Come, let's introduce the hospital staff to their CEO & MD" He said and I looked at him.

Honestly, I wasn't afraid, but I was afraid!

Doesn't make sense but it is what it is!!

"I'm here" He whispered as if reading my thoughts and I felt his hand on my back.

"Careful now Raana sa. Your staff might see these soft eyes and get a cardiac arrest seeing their boss and king being so soft " I mocked and he pulled me near him and I gasped.

"Don't get into delusions Raani sa. These eyes shows emotions only in front of you" He said and I sure blushed because I saw that small smirk which comes on his face everytime when I blush.

And I averted my gaze from his face when I felt his knuckles over my cheek and I held the table for support.

"I feel as if I win the world everytime you blush due to my words Sunshine" He whispered

"They've always affected me, even when I've tried to not let get myself affected by them" I said and his knuckles reached my chin and he raised my face making me look into his eyes.

And he was right!

Those eyes showed emotions in front of me. But there was so much in those eyes that I couldn't segregate.

"Then give words to the affect I have on you sunshine" He whispered and I gulped down.

"We're.. Taking it slow Rana sa" I said looking at his lips which I realised were more pink then me.

Whyyy!!!

"Yeah" He muttered and I giggled stepping back.

"I pissed you off Rana sa" I smirked and he looked at me and shook his head.

"Do it again and again Raani sa, if that's what makes you giggle so wide" He said and before I could speak the door knocked.

"In" His commanding voice resonated and I really realized, the softness of his voice was reserved to me.

Rana Raghav Singh Rathore was back in his all powerful dominant aura.

And, I clearly loved that fact of his softness reserved for me !!

"Shall we, Raani sa, Rana sa? " It was Mr. Diwaan and we nodded as Raghav held my hand and we went outside.

The auditorium of the hospital building was full of doctors, nurses, staff and authorities.

And I suddenly was again nervous.

As Mr. Diwaan took me to the couch in front, I got seated and Rana sa went to the podium for addressing people.

"Good morning everyone. I'm feeling immensely grateful to handover the position of MD & CEO into the hands of someone very well deserving and someone, who by many cases proved to be best amongst all. Her words & work both speaks. Kindly welcome your new CEO & MD Dr. Janki Rathore" He introduced all the while his eyes fixed at mine when he spoke my name.

And I stood up, going to the stage, looking at him.

"Welcome Raani sa" He said forwarding the orchid and lilies bouquet to me and I looked at him taking that.

"Pleasure's mine Rana sa" I replied and then he gestured to the mic.

"Is is important" I whispered

"Chin high, head up Tigress" He said and I smiled at him.

As he took the couch in front of me, I looked at everyone, but my eyes fixed at that one person who blinked his eyes in assurance.

"Warm morning everyone. I won't stretch it any longer because the patients needs your attention more then me. I'm joining new but I'm old in this field. I promise to give it my 100%, in return asking your, 100%. Let's do it together. And thankyou Rana sa, I won't let you down" I said and he nodded

As everyone went by and some senior staff and Mr. Diwaan telling me about the work went away, I looked at Rana sa.

"Want to start today or tomorrow?" He asked

"Tomorrow" I replied

"What about today" He asked and I was about to say something when his phone rang.

He looked at the call and then looked at me excusing himself.

"Yes Aarav" He spoke and then for a minute he was silent but then his jaw clenched and his eyes darkened.

"That son of a bitch" He cursed and I looked at him.

"In Jail" He then spoke and I gulped hard at the mention of jail.

And then he cut the call looking at him.

"Robin will take you home Sunshine. I need to leave for somewhere urgently" He said

"But... Where.. You said on call.. Jail" I asked

"You don't need to worry about it. It's business related." He said and I knew he was in a way right too.

"I'll go with other security. Take Robin with you" I spoke

"Don't argue over it Janki. We're clear in it" He deadpanned and I wanted to retort but the situation looked damn serious hence I just agreed.

And soon I was in car sitting on the back seat .

And I realized, it was the first time I was sitting on the back seat alone or else on the back seat at all.

There were gestures which Raghav showed to me, which were small yet very significant.

As I reached home, everyone congratulated me but I was worried about the person who left in anger.

It was almost 11 in the night when I even completed two video conferences from Delhi office and everyone have had their dinner while I was waiting for His Highness to come.

He didn't even bother to make a call and tell me about him where abouts.

Neither was his phone reachable.

And I was angry on him! So angry that if he comes in front of my eyes right now, I would stab him.

And at the same instant the door opened and I jumped on the couch a bit frightened.

Yes, this place ,the King's Abode was very amazing but I hated it if I was left here alone.

"It's me" He said and I glared him.

"It's YOU" I snapped

"What happened to you Sunshine" He asked in a very casual voice

"Did you lost the track of time Rana sa" I mocked and he looked at his watch.

"Am yeah. It's quite late. Why you're still up" He asked

"Are you this idiot or you're trying to Rana sa" I snapped more harshly this time and he gave me a glare.

"Directly to the point Sunshine" He said

"Check Your God damn Phone." I screamed and he looked at him phone and then at me.

"I called you so many times but you were too busy that you couldn't reply to one. I was here tens.. " I was saying when he spoke

"Did you have dinner" He asked

"Why do you even care" I snapped again more angry because he cut me off while talking.

"Of course I do care Sunshine. Have dinner first. Come on" He said when I glared him

"It's waste to talk to you when all you want to do is what you want" I muttered and went to bed lying down.

"Sunshine, I'll speak but dinner first." He said

"And I'm not listening Rana sa. Your dinner is placed right at the dining table. Have it! " I gritted

"And you think I'll have it, knowing you're empty stomach" He asked which I ignored royally covering myself with comforters.

But the next I knew was the comforters getting away from me and I was in air.

"Wh.. Raghav" I screeched

"You didn't leave me with much options sunshine" He said and scooping me in his arms very perfectly, he started walking.

"As he left the floor, I saw the security staff at all corners and I wriggled in his arms.

" Raghav. Leave me, I can walk" I muttered

"Sush. If you don't wanna fall, hold me tight " He whispered in my ear and I don't know why my hands just encircled his neck little more tightly.

And as we passed by living room, I saw Yash bhaiya.

"This isn't bad" Yash bhaiya smirked and I looked at him shocked.

"Put me down. " I whispered to that bufo.

"As if I care" He said and then glared Yash bhaiya.

"Of course. I was just here for water" He smirked and went away while Raghav made me sit on the kitchen counter.

"You.. You're impossible. This isn't way to act" I snapped

"You didn't leave me with any other option sunshine" He again repeated while he reheated the food.

"Option! I was freaking worried about you Raghav. The way you left hospital was dangerous" I freaked out when he came back standing in front of me and looked at me resting his palm on my cheek.

Bloody butterflies!! Not the time to come!

"I am dangerous Sunshine. I never denied that" He said and I looked at him.

"I'm not going to eat." I stated

"Let's make amendments for today's behavior" He asked

"All you needed was to give me a call and tell me that you're okay and you'll be late" I said when he put some food in a plate and placed two spoons in it.

"Careful there Sunshine. I might think you've started to care for me" He whispered in my ear sending shivers down my spine.

What the hell was wrong with me.

And as I tried to push him away, he pulled me even closer, cupping my cheeks.

And I melted!

I melted right there like butter in his hold.

And as his one hand was on my cheek, his other hand travelled to down my neck to my hand and even when I was wearing shorts in winters, I felt hot as his hand went to my legs.

And unknowingly I let out a sigh but this urge to pull him closer and... Kiss him was increasing!

Shit! Damn!!

What the hell was I even thinking!!

But this was also true that I couldn't help it!

"Duly noted Raani sa. Your phone will be answered always from today" He whispered in my ear again and I held his shoulder for support.

"Going weak on knees are we? " He asked as his hand again travelled to my face removing the hair strands from my face.

"No" I said but it came as a mere whisper where as my chest was rising up and down.

"Your body says otherwise" He whispered again and I held his shoulder more tightly.

"We're having the dinner" He added and I nodded when he smirked a bit and then looked at me.

And I realized he just...

"Yo.. I hate you You know that" I muttered when he looked at me and then kissed my forehead.

"You're stubborn once you decide. But once you say something, you do that. So it's a yes for dinner" He said as if winning and took the plate to dining table where as I just thought about whatever happened in last few minutes and then jerking away the thoughts, just went to dining area.

As we had dinner and I realized, I was very hungry, Rana sa spoke.

"My phone wasn't with me. It... Broke. The new phone came and sim was changed and it all took time. Yet, I should've informed you if I was going to be this late. I'm sorry Sunshine" He told and I looked at him.

"How did the phone broke" I asked surprised

"I broke in anger" He mumbled and I gasped

"Don't give me looks. And yes, duly noted for informing my wife if I'm going to be late for home" He said with a small smirk

"I hate you" I again spoke

"Whatever makes you sleep at night" He smirked more and was taking the plate when I somehow snatched it away.

"I'm an independent woman. You heated the food and served. Now, my turn" I said and taking the plate and all in sink, I washed them away.

But all these while, I found a constant gaze on me from the kitchen wall.

"Want a piggy back ride to Mahal back" He mocked folding his hands.

"I won't mind though. I'm tired. But I don't like pigs, so I'll walk on my own" I mocked back

"You didn't call me that" He warned and I giggled as I took fast steps running in the courtyard when I heard some voices.

"She doesn't even look like a Queen." I heard a muffle and went towards the servent quarter from where I heard the voice.

"Yes. Don't know what Rana sa saw in her. And now he just gave away a hospital to her. She must've casted black magic on him" Another voice came and I, couldn't believe my ears.

"Of course. Or she must've just wooed him. Otherwise how many Royal rishtas he has got. Why would he even choose her. Have you ever looked at her. She roams around in anything thinking this as Delhi" Someone said

"No doubt she just sedu.. " Before the sentence could complete a voice thundered

"Complete the sentence and get a death wish" His voice roared and I looked to find Rana sa shooting daggers at those people and they looked back terrified to real death.
