EX - FIANCE!

Who I didn't even know fucking existed!!

"Wow! Great! " I muttered and without a word I left from there.

As I went downstairs, I first as usual went inside the temple and prayed for some minutes.

And after that as I came out, I went to the living room.

"Mom, where's Megha" I asked

"She's sleeping. Sanjana told me minutes ago" Mom replied and I nodded

"So you're Janki. Raghav's wife" The aunt spoke and I looked at her and then nodded politely not wanting to show them my annoying side.

"You don't look like a Queen though." She added .

Does a Queen come with stamp of QUEEN!

Or else two horns and a tail!!

"Bai sa.. " Mom was about to speak when the ex fiance spoke.

"Yes. I mean look at Raghav... He's always so...up to the mark" She said

"Because that's my wish Raina" A voice boomed and I looked to find the person she was talking about.

"Of course Rag.. " she was saying when he spoke again.

"Mom, I and Janki will be leaving at 6 in the evening" He said

"Where" That girl asked and I clenched my fists.

Bhed charaane. Join karna hai! (Herding sheeps. Wanna join)!!

"And why should I answer you that" This time Raghav spoke irritation clear on his face where as I was already irritated by everyone present here except mom & dad.

Yes! He too seemed to be irritating right now l!!

"Mom, I'll wake up Megha " I said and without a delay of second I left from there.

As I was going towards Megha's room, I saw Sanjana.

"Good morning Raani sa" She wished

"Morning Sanjana. " I replied and went inside when Mickey too came running to me and I picked him up in my arms.

"You both are late risers" I cooed Mickey and looked at Megha baisa.

And there she was. Sleeping like a cute bear.

Honestly, seeing Megha always bought a smile on my face.

I went near her and kissed her cheek.

"Morning princess" I spoke and she squirmed

"Wake up come on. It's already 10" I said to which she whined

"Come on. Come on. I've heard that breakfast have your favorite cheese sandwiches" I told and she opened her eyes.

"Really" She mumbled and I chuckled nodding.

"Good morning mom" She wished and I smiled as Mickey jumped off from my arms and went licking Megha where as she giggled.

"Sanjana, get Megha ready" I told and she nodded

"Come on Mickey. We need to leave. I've some people on my head today who've already pissed me off" I huffed picking Mickey.

"Raina Baisa is there" Sanjana spoke while making a face.

"I see unlikeliness here" I chuckled

"She's...sweet on face. That's it." She told and I looked Megha who stood up from bed.

"Help her." I said and she nodded going.

After a while everyone already gathered at breakfast table.

As I was about to take my seat, that woman sat there.

And as she did it, I looked at Raghav who glared her and stood up.

And as He stood up, so did everyone at the dining table.

"Did you swallow the rules of dining table" He snapped a bit way too rude.

"What" She asked

"That's my wife's place. Take another seat" He gritted

"Rana sa, it's okay" I said

"No it's not Janki beta. The rules must be followed. " It was dad this time who spoke and Raina looked at me and then left the place taking seat in front of Raghav.

I sighed at the drama being unfolded because honestly, I hated drama at dining table.

For me, food was a way to connect and if dining table had clashes, it made my day real bad.

"Sunshine, sit" It was Raghav who spoke and I saw him adjusting my chair for me.

The two faces looked at his real shocked while others just sat as usual.

And I sat as he slid it ahead and then seated himself.

Though, I was angry on him, didn't mean I'll let everyone here see that!

As Megha came, she wished the guests and then grinned at me.

"What's the matter. My baby is so happy" I asked.

"I'm going with Chachi to her home for four days." She told

"Bhabhi. You going Bikaner" I asked and she nodded smiling.

"That's great. Sanjana, packed her stuff? " I asked her to which she nodded.

"Dad, you and mom too enjoy" She said and Raghav looked at her.

"We will. You don't exhaust yourself okay" He said to which she nodded.

"Wow. We've just come. And everybody is going some or other place." Bhua sa taunted

"It's not like that Surekha. It's just, you didn't tell you're coming. And kids already had their plans from before. " Dad spoke

"We consider Nivedita's because she visits her home once in a while. But these two, they can skip right" Bhua sasaid

"No" It was Raghav who spoke while having his breakfast.

"What no. Raghav, we've come from Bhubaneshwar till here for this. You're insulting us" She huffed and Raghav glared her.

"No one is insulting you bhua sa. And we going doesn't in any way is insulting you. You better know how insult is done" He added and I looked at him a bit shocked.

Is he the same person, I see every day?

"The kids had plan from a long while. Let them have their time. And they'll be back day after tomorrow. You're here only" Dad said and I saw him glaring his own sister.

"What can I even say! It's not like someone listens to me anymore here" Bhua sa muttered and Raghav was about to speak something when I spoke.

"It's okay bhua sa. We'll go some other day" I said when Raghav looked at me and then glared me.

"We're going" He stated

"But Rag.. " I was saying when he stopped me.

"End of the discussion" He deadpanned and sliding his breakfast plate which was almost untouched till now, he joined his hands and left where as I clenched my fists.

Shouldn't I be the one who should be angry!

What anger was he showing!

And after that no one even spoke a word about it because he had ended the discussion leaving from here where as, my appetite already died due to anger right now.

Hence I waited for Megha to have her breakfast and then , I too excused myself and left from there.

I needed to talk to him! It wasn't that necessary to go I guess.

I knew, I would hate being at home on birthday right now with those two people who clearly disliked me so much!

And of course it was vice versa.

But it was better then hearing them complaining like a kid of two about it.

And as I moved towards study, I saw Mr. Diwaan with him but without a word I entered inside.

"I need to talk right now" I said and he looked at me and then at Mr. Diwaan who nodded and closing the file, he wished me and then left from there closing the door behind.

"What you think you're doing" I asked folding my hands on chest.

"Elaborate" He replied

"Elaborate? Really Rana sa. If we can skip whatever plans you've, I won't need to elaborate anything" I snapped

"Stop snapping and pack your stuff Sunshine. I'm not ruining your birthday being here at all for now" He said and I felt like I was talking to a kid who was adamant to go.

"We can go anywhere in Udaipur Rana sa. But leaving like this, bhua sa will think that we're insulting her" I explained

"As if I give a damn" He as usual replied

"Yes you don't. Even I don't but who remains here is mom and dad. They've to listen to the taunts. And when we come back, I'm sure it's me who have to listen" I argued

"First, you are a queen and you should know how to reply back to every single person who says mean words to you such that they zip their bloody mouths. Second, next time don't stop me when I'm saying anything to them when they say something to my wife. Third dad & mom knows how to handle them. And most important fourth, I'm not ruining your birthday Janki. That's it" He was adamant.

He said Janki!! That means even if I try thousand times, it's futile.

But I would still try!! Because I'm Janki!!

"It's my birthday right. I should be the one to decide. But no. Whose the king? You! So it's you at the end right! What am I even! Who am I? No one! So when you've decided, deadpanned the thing, what am I even doing here" I fumed and was about to go when he grabbed my hand.

"Stop doing this. Stop coming close to me when I don't mean a word to you" I yelled

"Sush. Lady Bheem. Shant. (Calm down) " He whispered and I tried getting out of his hold which was, I knew impossible.

"Sunshine, trust me. I tolerate them because of mom and dad. I know you'll do the same. But none of us will want you to get a bit sad on your birthday atleast. I've had it planned long back. Don't skip it just because of them. Moreover I know why you're politely speaking with them. It's all for family. Otherwise I know the Janki, who speaks with sarcasm oozing out of her mouth. And trust me, I would like you to shot back answers to them. But don't ruin your birthday. I would literally curse myself if you've to hear a word from them atleast tomorrow. And knowing myself, I'll da.... " He was speaking when I spoke.

"No. You're not going to say a word to them. They're guests" I warned when he smiled a bit.

"See. You have a little idea lf what I will do. So isn't it better, we skip all of it. Where I be a sane person and not give them a death sentence" He teased and I glared him.

"I'm still saying, let's be here only. Birthdays come and go. It's not a big de.. " Before I could say he spoke.

"It is a big deal for me. And as of now too, I won't let them say a word to you." He said and I sighed

"You're... Stubborn" I spoke but my stomach grumbled at the same time and I looked at him first and then instantly looked away embarrassed

"Janki... " He warned and I frowned looking at him

"It's your mistake. You left the breakfast table first" I complained

"That's because I couldn't tolerate eyes other then you which were on me" He replied

"What" I asked shocked

"You know. You're my wife. And you don't even see, who is gazing your husband. Wow wife" He mocked

"Wait a second. But you could've said her. Why did you stand up and leave" I asked

"Didn't want to loose my control over there Sunshine. And Megha too was sitting there. Now I wouldn't like to scare our little daughter and her little mom" He said and I sighed

And I'm not scared of him!!

"You know first of all, I'm angry on you because you hid a truth from me. Hell, I'm angry on everyone to hide this. And then next, your aunt has problem with everything I do. Third, that woman is gazing a married man whose wife is sitting near him. What the hell is happening at this palace" I exasperated

"And fourth, the wife doesn't even pay heed to it" He mocked again and I sighed

"Come now. Have your breakfast" He said

"You too" I muttered

"Are we really still.. Going" I asked again but this time I received a hard glare which made me shut.

And you said, you aren't scared!!

Shut up!! I ain't!!

"Fine" I said as he opened the door of the study and holding my hand walked towards King's Abode.

"Breakfast for two" He ordered a staff on first floor and then we came to our dining table here.

"Raina was engaged to me seven years ago" He spoke as we sat.

"I didn't ask" I muttered

"Sunshine, I didn't know this would come out like this. I had no intentions of hiding or hurting you" He said

"The thing is not about hiding Raghav. It's me too who still haven't shared what my nightmares are about. But, it's about getting to know after wards by someone else. I wasn't even prepared for this. I was looking dumb and confused when that girl called you Raghav. She called you Raghav" I huffed

"I understand you Sunshine. And I'm sorry for that. But this what I'm telling is the only truth. She was engaged to me. She's Bhua sa's brother in law's daughter. That time, she was engaged to me but after bhai sa and bhabhi sa's accident, I broke off the engagement. And I'm not a kid to not understand why she still comes here every year.I thought, now it would've ended because they know I'm married. But it's still same shit" He said

"Did you... Love.. Her" I myself didn't realize how hard it was for me to speak that.

Damn! Why it's paining me to say that.

"I didn't even like her. I never did. It was just an alliance. A Royal alliance. She meant and she means nothing to me sunshine" He assured and I don't know why I felt so light and good.

And I just took two steps towards him and hugged him.

"I don't like her calling you by name. I thought its only my right " I mumbled

"Is it. And it'll be. I assure you that Raani sa" He assured kissing my forehead

Meanwhile the breakfast too came and we had our breakfast after which, I packed the bags.

"I had to be angry on you and not talk to you at all. How about I do that to you on the trip" I muttered as I kept the charger in bag and Rana sa looked at me and then removed the clutch from my hairs making my hairs flow.

He looked at me as he combed my hairs with his fingers.

Yes, yes!! Get angry now Janki! Will you !

"That'll be almost as close as a death sentence Sunshine. Don't ever do that, Please" He whispered and my heart fluttered.

"At least tell me now where are we going" I asked when he smiled

"You're a doctor right. Have some patience! " He smirked

"Oh, in case you don't know, I've zero percent patience and I would really take your sword and stab you" I huffed to which he looked at me and then pulled me closer to himself.

"Ra.. Raghav.." I mumbled when he touched his nose with mine..

How have we still not kissed each other!!

What are you even thinking Janki! Shut up!!

"Take my sword out and rip me apart if it's what makes you happy Raani sa. As I said, I'm ready to die and take a re birth just for that too" He professed and I blushed pushing him away.

"I want lots of brownies on my birthday. Mind it." I warned but a small smile was there on my face which sure was visible to Raghav.

And with that, I left the room.

I for sure was going crazy! Because some time ago I was angry on my husband and now I'm smiling like an idiot.

But for now, I needed to protect my husband from a woman who was intruding his personal space.

Because if I don't protect him, he'll loose his patience on her and then there would be a volcanic eruption.

Now, we won't want that right!

Right?
