~Lucy's P.OV.~

"Ughhh, what's taking Porlyusica so long??" I groaned.  I was starting to get anxious.  All those cuts and bruises I saw while I was washing him was horrifying.

"I'm getting impatient too.." muttered Gray, who was leaning shirtless on a tree.

"Gray shirt," reminded Lexi.  Gray looked down and put back his red shirt and white coat back on.

"I'm getting tired waiting too, but we have to, for Natsu's sake."  said Jessie.  Just then, the door opened.

"I'm done examining him, you may come in now," said Porlyusica.  We all nodded and followed her back into her cottage.

"So how is he?" I anxiously asked.  Porlyusica sighed.

"I fixed most of his scruffs and bruises, and his leg should heal in a day or so, but.." she trailed off.

"What is it?" I asked, suddenly getting very nervous.

"You felt it too...right Jessie?" Porlyusica asked softly.  Jessie slowly nodded.

"I did, but I was hoping it was just a trick of the mind.." she answered.  What were they talking about?  Erza and Gray looked as confused as I thought I did, so Jessie explained.

"When Gray went out to go get you guys, I felt something emitting from Natsu's body, something I hoped wasn't there.." she said.

"I'm afraid it is though," answered Porlyusica.

"What is it?  Tell us already!" said Gray with a hint of worry.  Jessie looked down.

"There's some spell casted on him, but I'm not sure what it is.." explained Porlyusica, "but it definitely is dark magic, and not something recorded in a spell book."

"I believe it's the reason Natsu can't remember anything," added Jessie, "but I've never sensed this kind of powerful dark magic before.  I'm afraid whatever attacked Natsu..." she took in a shaky deep breath,  "may not even be completely human."  I stared at her wide-eyed, and I'm pretty sure everyone else was too.  Something that isn't even human?  I glanced at Natsu, who was still sleeping peacefully on the bed we had set him down on.  All his scratches were bandaged and his leg was no longer twisted.

"Wh-what does this dark magic do?" I fearfully asked.

"I'm not too sure, but I know that making Natsu lose his memories is not the only effect it has on him.." whispered Jessie.  I looked at Porlyusica.

"What do we do with him?" was all I could say without choking up.

"He hasn't shown any signs of violence, and his leg should heal by the time he wakes up," said Porlyusica, "so I guess try to get his memories back, and keep a close eye on him."  Signs of violence?  What did that mean?  I really didn't want to ask, so I jsut nodded.

"Alright," I whispered.  Porlyusica put her hand on my shoulder, which surprised everyone, including me.

"Don't worry, I'm pretty sure this hothead will be fine," comforted Porlyusica.  I weakly smiled and nodded.

        "Thank you," I said.

"Maybe you could help us find some information," said Erza suddenly.

"What kind of information?" Porlyusica asked confusingly.

"We need some information about a village named Season Village," answered Erza.

"Season Village...I've heard about it somewhere." She left the room and came back with a book.  "This book should contain some information about it."  She handed me the book.  It was brown and dusty, and had golden lining around the edges.  I blew the dust off the cover.  It read Legends and Myths at the top of it.

"Thanks," I said.  She nodded.  "Well, take Natsu back to the guild infirmary and make sure he drinks this."  She handed Erza a bottle with a green liquid inside.  "It's a medicine to help his wounds heal faster," she explained.  Erza nodded and kept it in her magic space where she keeps all her armor.  We thanked her again for the book and patching Natsu up, and left.  Gray was carrying Natsu (who was still sleeping) on his back now that his leg was better.  As we walked, something kept bothering me.   I know that making Natsu lose his memories is not the only effect it has on him..  That scared me.  What other effects did it have on him?

"What's wrong Lucy?" asked Jessie.  I snapped out of my thoughts.

"O-oh, nothing," I replied.  She mischievously smirked.

"Thinking about how he called you Luce?" she said, emphasizing "Luce".  My cheeks started to burn.  I hadn't thought about that.

"N-no I'm not!" I stuttered, which made me sound like I was lying.  Erza and even Gray had the same smirk on their faces.

"A-anyways w-we should hurry up and g-get back!"

"If you say so.." said Jessie.

"You're in looove~" said Lexi, rolling her tongue.  I wanted to slap her, but she was too far away.

"I'll get you back.." was the best comeback I could think of.

"Well, for now, let's just focus on getting back to the guild," chuckled Jessie after seeing my peeved face.
