It comes down to what my issues for Pearl and Amethyst, as couple. I feel like they would be at each other's necks all the time. And I feel like they're too different to have a stable relationship. One can literally change gems emotions with her own, and the other is commander, who's best at giving faces for memes. I just don't think they would ever click.
