The room was dark as the thick night,the moon was so angry to shine it's blossom light on the earth and everywhere was as gloomy as the sky.

But one figure was unfazed about all this. Monica was laying on her bed,her legs widely spread apart and her hands going different directions,her mouth open and drooling on the bed. the scene alone is enough to tell everyone Monica has a bad sleeping habit

Several minutes later she roll on her bed trying to adjust to feel the comfort of her bed when she fall down on the floor. She groan internally, this hasn't been the first time something like this is going to happen

Hell!

She falls all night and it has become her unwelcomed alarm,she rub her throbbing head slightly and stood up from the floor wiping away the drool on her cheek in an unladylike manner. Though she never knew what's been ladylike,she lacks a lot of classic etiquette

She look through her window to see the darkness so thick and shrugged,she rarely got bothered about petty things. She searched for her phone and luckily she found it in the top of the cupboard at the left side of her bed.

She switched on her phone touch light leaving the comfort of her room to get herself a glass of water, she entered the kitchen taking a glass of water and drank everything up in a gulp. The house is eerie silent making Monica to roll her eyes,she knows how the house is in the day time and she's not ready to go through it.

She sluggishly drag herself back to her room falling on her bed like the heavy sleeper she is she fall asleep immediately.

A shrieking deafening sound jolted her out of her peaceful slumber,she groan rubbing her eyes before turning off her alarm clock,she carefully place the phone on her chest in the top of her cupboard trying to get back to sleep but luck wasn't on her side,the rest of the family members were already up and the house was already polluted with noise

"They will never shut up"she muttered in disdain taking her phone back and lay back on her bed. She knew she couldn't go back to sleep but that doesn't stop her from having a comfort time

She turn on her data connection going through her social media accounts when an email message pop up on the head of her screen,she decided to open it and got the most surprising but welcoming news of her life

She shouted,jumped and cried before hearing her door burst open,her mom and her two aunts made their way in in defence pose

"What's it Monica?!"her mom asked concerns lacing her voice instead of Monica giving her mother an answer like a human being she jumped on her mother hugging her and her two aunts got worried immediately

"Monica what's wrong with you this early morning" one of her aunt called Miriam asked and she smiled widely watching with one side of her eyes as her dad step inside her room

"I got the job! I got the lecturing job!"Monica shouted. As if she's the only abnormal person in the family her aunts shouted jumping likewise her mom while her dad went over to embrace her in a goofy hug

The news spread across the rest member of the family living in the house, her siblings and cousins came over to congratulate her. It's her dream job and finally she had gotten what she thought she deserved

But unknowingly to her,her life is about to change. And her mind will take her where she had never been before making her think if the lecturing job was a good thing or not
