The following day came and Sarah left the apartment immediately going over to Lola's. Monica stood up from the bed yawning,she went to take her bathe preparing for the class she has.

Sarah arrived at Lola's apartment and went inside. She had a cool shower changing into a nude colour bumshort and a pink tank top. She entered the kitchen looking for what to cook. She met that Lola already prepared stew and decided to boil white rice.

Her rice successfully done,she took a plate of rice going to the sitting room,she sat down and turn on the television,she change the channel to Africa magic epic watching an intriguing movie.

She heard a knock on the door and stood up to open the door,she carefully dropped her plate of rice in the top of the center table in the sitting room. She went over to the door to open it and met a young man standing on the door.

He gave the man a once over,he was wearing a ripped black jeans trouser,an ash coloured t-shirt and a black snickers. He has this badass look making Sarah to get attracted to him immediately

"Hello!"the stranger said and she coughed trying to gather her thought. Her eyes fell on his long curly hair and her knees almost gave up on her

"Hi"she said gaining her composure back

"Wait! Is this miss Monica?"the stranger asked frowning,Sarah laughed

"No I'm Sarah,who are you?"she asked

"I'm Daniel,I'm here looking for Barrister Lola"Daniel said

"Come in"Sarah said opening the door wider for him to come inside. Daniel entered the sitting room

"Where's she?"Daniel asked after stepping inside the house. Sarah locked the door behind

"She will be back soon,she went out"Sarah replied gesturing Daniel to sit down and he did

"You called me Miss Monica?"Sarah asked quirking one of her brows

"You look like her a lot"Daniel said emphasising on the a lot making Sarah to burst into laughter

"She's my elder sister"Sarah replied

"That said it all but now I can see the difference,first sight on you will just give out you're her"Daniel says

"Yeah,it's usually like that. How do you know her?"Sarah asked

"She's my lecturer"Daniel replied and Sarah nodded

"Wow! That's good I should say"Sarah said and Daniel snorted covering it up immediately with a smile

The door suddenly opened and Lola came in,she was surprised to see Daniel sitting on her living room

"Chisom?"she called and Daniel turn around immediately

"Barrister"Daniel said standing up smiling down at her

"Surprise seeing you this morning"Lola says

"I needed an urgent talk with you"

"Okay,you wouldn't mind if I go and freshen up right?"Lola asked

"Yes I won't"

"Make yourselves comfortable"Lola added leaving the sitting room.

Daniel sat down back silence reigning,Sarah feels a lot of attraction for him and decided to break the silence,she wants to get him talking

"What course are you studying?"Sarah asked startling Daniel who is deep in thought. Daniel smiled again and Sarah almost fainted out of pure joy

"Business administration"Daniel replied

"That's a great course,I'm studying chemical engineering"Sarah said

"That's a good course,I have a friend in that department in my school,what school do you go to?"Daniel asked and Sarah smiled at least he's conversing with her

"Federal University Of technology Minna"Sarah said and Daniel nodded

"I went to the school once"Daniel replied

"Wow! What level are you?"Sarah asked

"I'm a final year student,four hundred level"Daniel replied and Sarah smiled

"I'm a four hundred level student too but my course is extended to five years"

"Cool,you look like you really enjoy studying the course,you must really love it"Daniel says

"Sure I do, it's my dream course right from childhood"Sarah said and Daniel nodded. Lola came out of her room changing her dress to a casual wear

"Wanna take anything?"Lola asked Daniel.

"No I'm fine"Daniel replied smiling. Lola gestured him to follow her and he did. They sat comfortably in the dining room

"So..."Lola stressed

"It's about the contract Barrister"Daniel said looking serious

"What about it?"Lola asked

"I need a loophole"Daniel replied and Lola frowned

"Wait! I don't understand"Lola said

"Well... I like Bianca a lot,I don't mind dating her but marriage it's a big deal and I have this nagging feeling in the back of my mind that I will come to regret it"Daniel said swallowing

"You shouldn't feel like that"Lola said not really sure about the way to console him

"I'm trying not to but I can't. Anytime I think about settling down with Bianca all I see is dreads, I blamed it on my young age then again that's not it. I need you to help me Miss Lola,I need a better loophole for this"Daniel said and Lola can see how serious he is

"Okay what kind of help do you want from me?"Lola asked

"I need you to talk to my dad,you're his lawyer and he trust you a lot. I need you to tell him every agreement have it's loophole,there should be a way for me to escape this if the marriage turns toxic"Daniel said

"You do know Mr Ozokwor have his own lawyer right and the two parties have to agree"Lola asked quirking her brows

"Please barrister,do this for me please.  I'm not happy,my mind is not at peace please"Daniel begged as if he's life depends on it

"I can't promise you anything cause whatever your dad agrees on is what I'm going to follow but I will talk to him"Lola said and Daniel's face lit up

"Thank you so much Miss Lola,I really appreciate your efforts"Daniel said and Lola smiled

"You want anything?"Lola asked

"No,I'm fine"Daniel replied standing up.

He greeted Lola good bye who in turn promised to talk to him as soon as she talks with his dad,he met Sarah in the sitting room and greeted her goodbye

"When will I see you again?"Sarah asked smiling

"I'm not sure"Daniel replied

"Can I have your contact? We can chat you know"Sarah said shrugging

"Sure"Daniel replied collecting her phone. He typed his number in the phone before walking away

Lola stood at the other side of the sitting room her two hands on her waist watching Sarah warily

"What?"Sarah asked chuckling

"He has a fiancé he will be getting married to soon"Lola said and Sarah smiled

"So"

"So?"Lola asked not believing the response she got from Sarah

"I heard everything you said"Sarah said and Lola eyes went wide "I was eavesdropping"

"You don't do that when I talk to a client!"Lola yelled rubbing her hands across her face "it's supposed to be confidential"

"I'm sorry"Sarah apologized not really looking sorry

"Don't do that next time please"Lola said in a calm voice this time slumping on one of the sofas

"I won't"

"Don't try flirting with him"Lola warned

"Why not?"Sarah asked chuckling

"You will end up hurt my sister,Daniel comes from a very complicated family and falling in love with him will be the last thing you want"Lola said sternly

"What do you mean by complicated family?"Sarah asked frowning

"He is from a very wealthy family who only believe their children should marry someone of thesame class that can raise their business. You and I know our family doesn't suit in that position,Daniel doesn't even have much say in his own life so please stay away"Lola said looking at Sarah who's face have fallen "he's your sister's student anyways"

"Thanks for the advice"Sarah replied

Her head beating as if it have a life of its own,Monica sluggishly dressed up leaving her lodge for the next class she has. On her way walking to the class her mind wandered back to the dream she had which confused her,she's not meant to dream of Daniel that way and that left her feeling stupid and dirty.

Her eyes on it owns wandered on two figures standing under a tall tree,she saw it was Daniel and the other lady she saw with him the other time,this picked her interest and she watched them. Daniel suddenly kissed the the lady making Monica's heart to tighten

Tears threaten to fall from her eyes and she walked away briskly trying to control her stupid emotion. She didn't understand why she's felt so hurt seeing Daniel kissing another lady,he's not hers for God's sake and also he is her student and quite younger than him. After thoroughly thinking it through she felt stupid and disgusted all over,she's not meant to jeopardize her teacher and student relationship she has with any of her students. She vowed to keep everything professional using her brain instead of her heart. The stupid organ

Monica standing in the front of the class lecturing the four hundred level student suddenly she heard noises,she look around the class to see Daniel and the other guy Jake whispering to eachother. It seems what they were talking about is serious but Monica have made it a priority for herself to act professional

"You at the back!"she said and the class went quiet immediately. Daniel stopped talking and turn to look at her

"Get out of my class!"she said and Daniel frown immediately

"Ma......"Daniel tried to explain himself but Monica cut him short

"If you don't want to spend another extra year in this school then get out!"she yelled. Daniel watched her warily for awhile before grabbing his stuffs leaving the class.

Everyone was silent watching Monica like she had grew two head, those who thought she's the nicest lecturer started having second thoughts,she had never flip on any of the students in such way before

"Make sure you do your research well before working on the assignment, should be submitted individually it's not a group work"Monica said ending the class. She packed her stuffs leaving the class last after all the students left.

She arrived at her lodge and slumped on her bed,she had never acted so drastically on anyone before and right now she feels guilty but on second thought she thinks this might be better than whatever that might happen between them. She started thinking about Lola's advice of getting laid and she thought that might be the best,she need to get laid.
