The ride back to her apartment, Monica's might was busy beating erratically in her heart. She kept on thinking about what transpired between her and Daniel. She wondered if the call didn't came through what would have happened. She dreaded what she's going to tell Lola.

On entering the apartment,she didn't see Lola in the sitting room and went straight to her room to meet her munching on the biscuit she bought on her way to her place.

"Where have you been?"Lola asked giving her attention to Monica who shrugged sitting on the bed beside Lola

"I went out for fresh air"she lied. She gulped hoping it wasn't obvious to Lola she lied,she felt horrible for lying and Lola bought it. "This one you're smiling like this what's up?"Monica asked trying to change the topic. Lola giggled taking the bait

"You know the guy I told you I had as one night stand with?"Lola asked and Monica nodded yes "I saw him today. His name is Joel and he was so angry at me for the way I left,girl! When I woke up in the morning and saw myself wrapped up in the arms of a stranger my head went off immediately and I got to grab my stuff and leave"Lola said picking a broken biscuit

"Where did you see him?"Monica asked

"I saw him when I was coming out of the law firm"Lola replied

"So?"Monica asked

"I apologized for the way I left,I was surprised he still recognise me cause I don't recognize him anymore. He asked for my contact and asked me out on a date"Lola said squealing and Monica chuckled

"Seems like my cousin sister is in love"Monica said and Lola hit her playfully

"Seriously I can't believe it. Someone asking me out after what happened between me and Fred,I always have this feeling no one will like me again"Lola said and Monica rolled her eyes

"Don't ever said that again Lola. You're beautiful and only a wise man will be able to see it. I'm happy for you though,my bestie is going out on a date"Monica said and Lola giggles squealing while Monica chuckled

"Before I forget. Sarah called me"Lola said and Monica frowned immediately

"Why did you called you?"Monica asked. Sarah is her younger sister they never really got along

"Strike! She said her school is on strike and my place is the closest for her"Lola replied shrugging. Sarah is currently in four hundred level studying chemical engineering at Federal university of technology Minna

"Thank God she called you not me"Monica said and Lola rolled her eyes

"I think it's high time, you and Sarah start getting along,you're twenty six and not more a kid. You should keep whatever happened between the two of you behind and work towards yourselves"Lola said and Monica's frown got deeper

"Don't talk as if you don't know the kind of person she is. She's twenty one and not a kid,she should learn how to show respect to her elder ones"Monica said rubbing her eyes all over her face "you of all people know how Sarah is and everything she had done to me"

"I'm sorry Monica"Lola said raising her hand up "I just want you guys to be like Christian and Raphael. They rarely fight"Lola says. Raphael and Christian are Monica's siblings. Christian is eleven months older than Monica though the family members calls them twins. He works at the NMPC at port Harcourt while Raphael is twenty three years old,he is self employed. He owns a very big boutique shop at Anambra state where he lives.

"Raphael respects Christian. He never talk back at him"Monica said and Lola raise her hands up showing a sign of giving up.

Laying on her bed her phone started ringing. She took her phone to meet her mom calling

"Hello mom"she said as soon as she picked up the call

"So much for promising to call regularly"her mom said. It's obvious the older woman is pissed

"I'm so sorry mom,my job is time consuming that's why I can't keep up to my promise"She says

"Okay I heard you. I talked with Sarah yesterday and she said she's coming to Abuja to meet you"her mom said and she roll her eyes

"She's not coming to meet me mom,she's coming to meet Lola"Monica said

"Wunmi!"her mom called her native name. She only those that when she's angry at her "don't ever use that tone to talk to your sister like that"

"Yes mom"she deadpanned. She's not ready to listen to her mom's rant

"When she comes make sure you act well with her,I don't want to hear any complains"her mom said and she rolled her eyes. They all talk as if she's the faulty one while it's obvious Sarah is the faulty one.

"How's Tolani's health"She decided to change the topic

"She's getting better. Her exam is approaching soon"her mom took the bait and she sighed. Tolani is Lola's younger sister,she's sixteen years old

"That's nice. Greet Jide for me o! Tell him he tried"Monica says. Jide is Monica's cousin brother from aunt Victoria's side

"Let the poor boy be. I will tell him to call you"her mom said and she smiled. She love the way her mother always defend her cousins

"Okay Maami! I love you"Monica says

"I love you daughter. Take care of yourself"

"I will"Monica said and the call came to an end. With the day gone Monica decided to go to bed but her stomach had other plans,her stomach grumbles reminding her of dinner. She stood up from her room going to the kitchen to microwave the left over late lunch she had

She sat on the stool in her kitchen waiting for the food to get hot when her mind wandered back to what happened between her and Daniel. She didn't know when it get to that extent and she wandered what might have happened if Lola didn't call. She suddenly felt a sensual feeling between her legs and the clenched her legs together immediately. She took her food running away from the kitchen like it's the cause of her predicament.

After eating her dinner and going through her phone,Monica felt too lazy to take the plate back to the kitchen,she kept the plate beside her bed and decided to go to bed. Sleep gracefully engulfed her

Her eyes trained on Daniel's. She tried seeing pass him but she couldn't cause a voice jolted her from that thinking

"Monica!"Daniel called. She love the way her name rolled out of Daniel's mouth like something tantalising and yummy. Talking about yummy her eyes fell on Daniel's perfect lips. It look like the lips were begging her to kiss them and as the good person she is she placed her left hand around Daniel's neck bringing him down and kissing him. Daniel didn't waste a time kissing her back,he started stroking his tongue with her's moaning quietly on her lips

Monica's hand couldn't stay one place,she slowly traced his features her hands finally landing on his head,she feels the texture of his hair in her hand then gently massage his scalp. Daniel's hand was busy too, touching everywhere,his hand landed on her right breast and he massage it slowly tracing kisses from her jawline to her breast making Monica a panting mess. They suddenly teleported from Daniel's sitting room to Monica's bedroom, he  pushed  her to the bed and lay on top  her, his weight carried by his hand  he placed above Monica's head,his lips around Monica's right nipple giving it a tender care while his hands started trailing down her body. He stopped at her fold slowly massaging it making Monica to jerk forward. Monica started moaning loudly calling Daniel's name though Daniel wasn't her directly, her pant was restricting him from touching her directly. The act continued and Monica kept on moaning his name

"Oh Daniel.... Daniel... Oh..."Monica woke up from her sleep panting heavily. She rubbed her hands on her face wandering why she's having a wet dream about Daniel. She stood up from her bed and met she already wetted her bed

She pull away the dirty bedsheet and kept it in the basket in her bathroom,she came back to her room spreading a new bedsheet in her bed. She went naked entering her bathroom and had a mind blowing shower,she didn't understand why she will start dreaming about her student. She knew it's wrong having such dream about her student and someone obviously younger than her. She decided to check up on Lola and tell her about her dream.

She arrived at Lola's apartment,she met Lola dressed in her white and black corporate dress,she was bending down wearing her black stiletto

"Where are you going to?"Monica asked

"An urgent call from a client"Lola replied

"Which client?"Monica asked

"The Ogechukwus"Lola replied and saw the confusion written on Monica's face "Chisom.... I mean Daniel's family"

"Okay"

"Wait for me,will ya? I won't take long"

"Okay"Monica replied as Lola walk out of the house in haste. Monica went to her old room laying on the bed before sleep took her.

She suddenly felt a gentle tap on her hand and she opened her eyes to meet Lola wearing a boxer and a singlet

"When did you come back?"Monica asked

"An hour ago. I prepared us food,freshen up and join me in the dining room"Lola said and Monica rolled her eyes. She knew what Lola meant by freshen up,she stood up from the bed heading to the bathroom,she washed her face and joined Lola in the sitting room. Lola served them two plate of macaroni,Monica took one of the plate sitting down in the dining chair.

"What's the emergency all about?"Monica asked

"It's about some contract of sort.... Merging stuffs"Lola replied shrugging and Monica decided to let it go. Maybe Lola wants to keep her client secrets confidential

"I had a weird dream"Monica said and Lola stopped eating looking at her cousin sister

"What dream?"Lola asked

"Wet dream"Monica whispered like she didn't want anyone hearing what she said though it's only the two of them in the apartment. Lola bursted into laughter and Monica winced

"You call a wet dream a weird dream?"Lola asked in between laughter

"I didn't tell you so that you can laugh at my face Lola!"Monica said

"I'm sorry"Lola says raising her hand up "when last did you get laid?"

"Not till after Michael,it's been three years"Monica said and Lola's eyes went wide

"You don't tell me you're now the second mother Mary...."

"She never had sex"Monica interjected rolling her eyes. Lola raise her hands up

"You better get laid seriously. You will be surprised you will start dreaming of the last person you expect to have sex with you"Lola said digging on her food.

Monica didn't know how to tell Lola she already started dreaming about someone younger than her,one of her students. She winced and thought maybe Lola's idea is the best,she better get laid now she feel so frustrated

"And Sarah is coming down here tomorrow"

Can her day get any worst? Now she felt like going straight to bed.

Seriously I can't lie. I wrote this chapter with anger. I lost the real chapter and now I have to write this one. Bear with me if you see any mistakes. My anger didn't let me to go through it😣
