"Monica wait!"Lola said shouted running over to meet Monica, Monica halted her steps

"My phone?"Monica demanded and Lola handed it over to her before walking away

"At least wait let's drop you at your lodge!"Lola said and Monica turn around to meet everyone looking at her except Daniel

"No!"Monica refused angrily

"I will drop you"Jake said and Monica became quiet, Jake haven't done anything bad to her and she needed someone to drop her by

"Okay"she replied and Jake quickly collected Daniel's car key, he opened the door for Monica who went inside and he ignited the car engine immediately driving them out of the hospital.

They were quiet throughout the ride and Jake stopped the car in front of Monica's lodge, she came down from the car

"Thank you!"she said without sparing him a look, Monica took her lodge key from the flower pot in front of her apartment opening the door, she went inside and locked the door. Her body gave up on her and she fell on the floor immediately, she couldn't control what she feels any longer and cried her pains out. She's so disappointed at her sister, at Lola at her dad and also herself for allowing herself to have an affair with Daniel, her mind led her back to the fact she's still pregnant and cried out the more. She needs to start over again, away from the people, away from the people she had grown to love.

She crawl inside her room and had a bathe releasing some of her tense muscles, she laid on her bed not minding to wear anything cause she's so tired, she had exhausted the little energy she has. She took her phone going through her contact when her eyes landed on a number she haven't contacted for a long time. Two years three years she couldn't place a name on it, she pressed the dial keyboard

"Unbelievable!"she heard a voice she hasn't heard for a long time

"Faith!"Monica called and bursted into tears "Faith I need your help!"

"Monica! What's wrong with you?!"Faith said sounding scared

"Your car key"Jake said handing the car key to Daniel who couldn't stand on his own, his back was placed on the wall

"She broke up with me"Daniel said a tear escaping his eyes "oh my God! Monica broke up with me Jacob! What am I going to do? I feel like I'm dying, my lungs are closing up on me!"

"Hold it together man! She will come around"Jake says

"What if she never comes around, I have caused her more problems than happiness. I'm sure she will never come around"Daniel said trying to stop himself from crying "I tried Jacob I tried a lot! I swear! I'd never done anything purposely to hurt her"Daniel says and couldn't control the tears any longer

"What kind of a father are you?! How can you push your daughter away like that! Look at what you did ehh Korede!"Monica's mom shouted at her husband angrily

"Bola!"Mr Korede warned

"Don't call my name! At least you could have given her some breathing space, how can you attack her with such when she's just waking up. You don't even care if she's traumatized!"Monica's mom shouted. Aunt Miriam and Victoria came to hold her immediately "let me go! Let me go and let me show this man what it means to love a daughter, let me show him how to love his daughter!"Monica's mom said bursting into tears

"This is not how I expected today to go! I was planning on apologizing to Monica for all I have done"Lola said covering her mouth up with her palm

"Katerina!"Joel called and she looked at him sniffing "She will come around"

"I hope so"Lola said before bursting into tears

Daniel knocked on Monica's door and no one answered, he saw the door wasn't locked and entered inside. He was surprised to see Lola standing holding a sheet of paper, Lola turned to look at him and bursted into tears handing the sheet of paper to Daniel

"What's the meaning of this?"Daniel asked

"Just read!"Lola said crying silently

Dearest best friend

                You know I love you so much and I could do anything for you, I know what I did was wrong, I should have told you about what I had with Daniel from the beginning, I didn't plan anything that happened, Daniel is to be blamed here too he initiated everything that happened, I tried staying away from him but it seems I can't, my body response to him the way it never does to any other person. We started having sex behind your back and I can't lie, he made me happy, the happiness made me fell in love with him unconsciously. I grew to love him so much even though I know the society will never accept us. I tried telling you time without numbers but I'm scared, I was scared of you judging me, I was scared of you turning your back on me and I was scared of you finding out I grew to love Daniel, I couldn't do without him, I dream of him all the time and hearing his voice alone is enough to complete my day. I got sick, I had this early morning sickness and I thought it was malaria and went to the hospital to check on my health, surprising I found out I was pregnant..... Daniel stopped reading looking at Lola

"She's pregnant?"Daniel asked not believing what he just read

"Continue reading"Lola said sniffing

....I was surprised, I mean I'm on pills and I thought it's enough to prevent me from getting pregnant, I love having it raw with Daniel which made me never support using of condom, I thought the pills were enough but it wasn't and I got pregnant. I couldn't tell Daniel, I know he will wants me to keep the baby. He's mother doesn't like me neither the rest of his family, giving birth to a child in such family will only cause more pains and you know my dad, he will never be in support of such. I tried talking to you too but you shut me out. Omolola I can't lie you hurt me the most, I thought we are best friends and I thought you know we all make mistakes. I expected you to get angry and the next thing you do is advising me or asking me how far we have went but you just turned your back on me, you made me remember the days I always stood up for you, I never forsake you but you turned your back on me on my worst days. What I experienced in just a month is something I had never experience in all the almost twenty seven years of my life. So with everyone turning against me I decided to start all over again away from people I grew to love. And this pregnancy I'm going to abort it, I'm not sure yet but I think that's going to be the right decision.

I know we won't see again in a long time or we might end up never seeing eachother again, but I want you to know I have forgiven you because I love you a lot. Tell Sarah I have forgiven her too, she's just a kid and tell everyone I love them. So sad I won't be attending your wedding and Christian's own but you all should know I wish you the best

P.S: don't try looking for me, you won't see me.

"Monica!"Daniel called his eyes going wide looking at Lola who was busy crying "oh no!"Daniel shouted and run out of the house

Daniel watched Bianca warily, she was in the cell busy crying. She's not use to such conditions, Jake had made sure she spend a good amount of time in the prison before she comes out

"You succeeded!"Daniel said chuckling "you succeeded Bianca! Monica is gone thanks to you!"

"I don't care anymore I just want to leave here!"Bianca shouted bursting into tears, it's obvious she's a cry baby

"I'm done with you mom and dad. Thanks for giving birth to me, I know I can never pay for that but it's better I go away"Daniel said and his mom started crying

"Chisom! Arghhhhhhh! You can't do that to me....."His mom shouted crying

"What's wrong with you son! After causing problems for the two family!"Mr Ogechukwu shouted

"I'm not stupid dad, I tried making money to cover up  for most of the bills"Daniel handed over the cheque to his dad "this should do a lot to the business. I don't want to succeed anything, I'm only doing this for Precious"Daniel said and started walking away

"Chisom! Daniel! Come back here! Don't make me cry for a child that is still alive! Oh my God! Daniel! You just succeeded in killing your mom! I'm sorry! I'm sorry son please forgive me and come back!"Daniel's mom shouted but it all fell on deaf ears

"Sarah!"Fred called

"My sister is missing!! And you're calling me, oh my God I regret everything I did oh my God!"Sarah said bursting into tears

"Calm down don't worry you will see her"Fred said and Sarah shook her head no

"It's been four months! We have started loosing hope"Sarah said crying heavily "I want to die!!!! I feel like dying! Oh God I hate myself! No one loves me and now I succeeded hating myself too, I'm useless...."Fred cut her short by placing his lips on hers. He kissed her slowly wiping her tears away

"You're beautiful Sarah and I love you, don't hate yourself. I promise you you will find your sister"

"You love me?"Sarah asked and Fred shook his head approving while smiling. He kissed her again and this time around Sarah kissed him back.

Oops! This is the shortest chapter u had ever write down. Just want to let you faithful readers know there will be a time jump starting from the next chapter.

P.s: no one should start asking me what they saw at the last part. Yes! Fred kissed Sarah, we can ponder on that later
