"it's Sarah"Lola said and everyone gave her their attention

"Pick the call"Joel said and Lola nodded picking the call, she put the phone in a loud speaker immediately

"We need your help sister Lola!"it doesn't take a sooth sayer to confirm Sarah is crying "Bianca, Daniel's fiance kidnapped Monica and she might kill her, she said that to me"

"What?! How do you know? How do you know this Bianca?!"Lola threw questions at Sarah, Joel took the phone away from her immediately

"Sarah!"Joel called and they heard her sniffing

"Do you know the location where your sister is?"Joel asked

"No I don't, I told my parents about it and we are heading to Abuja right now"Sarah said

"Okay, thanks for the info. We will contact you if we get anything"Joel said ending the call

"The person you were defending"Jake said immediately the call came to an end

"We need to look for Monica right now before anything worst happens to her"Daniel said looking scared "I'm going over to see Bianca"He says standing up

"She's going to deny it"Lola says

"She will definitely spill it off when I deal with her, I know the right way to handle her"Daniel said and Lola looked at Joel

"Okay, give us a call whatever happens"Joel said and Jake stood up too

"I should go with you guys"Lola said

"It's not necessary"Daniel said smiling "we will see"He added before walking out of the house with Jake tailing after him.

Jake decided to ride the car, Daniel was sitting on the passenger seat and took his phone out dialling Bianca's contact

"Hey!"Bianca said as soon as she picked the call up

"What's up?"Daniel said in a carefree manner, he doesn't want to give out how he feels right away

"I'm good, this one that you're calling me"Bianca said chuckling

"Where you at?"Daniel asked

"Around"Bianca replied

"Can I see you?"Daniel asked

"Sure! We will see in a few"Bianca said and the call came to an end, Jake looked at Daniel and he could see how much he's trying to suppress his feelings, he knows this hits him most and if anything happens to Monica he will never be thesame again

"You will find her"Jake said and Daniel smiled sadly

"I hope so"

"Let's plan this out"

Arriving at Daniel's apartment, Jake went inside Daniel's room waiting for Bianca, in few minutes time they heard a car honk and they knew it Bianca, not long enough a knock came from the door and Daniel went to open it, Bianca went inside and Daniel locked the door immediately removing the key and also placing it on his jeans pocket

"What's up?"Bianca asked smiling, her smile dropped when she saw Jake coming out of Daniel's room "what is he doing here?"

"Hi!"Jake said giving Bianca a sinister smile "I just have a little questions for you" he said and Daniel went over to sit down, Bianca hissed and went over to open the door only to met it locked

"What's the meaning of this?"Bianca asked frowning

"Don't worry the door will be opened if you answer Jacob's questions"Daniel said nonchalantly taking his phone out of his jeans pocket, Bianca watched him warily and snorted angrily

"What do you wanna ask?"Bianca asked standing akimbo

"Where is Monica?"Jake asked and Bianca bursted into laughter

"What kind of stupid question is that?!"Bianca asked angrily

"You should remember you're speaking to the heir of the Eze family and with just a snap of a finger I can even get your so called dad behind bars, you should know this is not Daniel you're speaking to and you know my uncle Ozo Ignatius and my family for being known and called old money so some reasons, for the last time where is Monica?!"Jake's voice got louder at his last words

"Daniel?!"Bianca cried out feeling scared, she knows Jake's family is not the kind of family you play with, Jake family is not Daniel's whose family is only growing on the social ladder, Jake's family have been on top of the social ladder for many decades

"Just answer him, you wouldn't want to keep an Eze waiting"Daniel replied nonchalantly and Bianca started shaking out of fear

"I will never forgive you for this, Monica is at the basement in one of my dad's residence"Bianca said snarling

"You better bring it down Chica!"Jake said smiling devilishly

"You're leading us there and if anything happens to her consider your family lineage gone"Jake said and Daniel stood up chuckling

"An Eze has spoken"Daniel said and Jake chuckled. Jake might be the most easy going and respectful man you can ever meet, but when he's angry you rather wish you never met him, hardly for you to know he is from Eze family just like Joel. The two similarities between them.

They open the door and Bianca entered Daniel's car, Bianca gave them the direction unwilling while internally cursing Daniel. Daniel took his phone dialling Lola's contact immediately

"Any news?"Lola asked as soon as she picks the call

"Yes, we got Bianca to speak and she's taking us to where Monica is"Daniel said and Lola sighed, Joel listened attentively

"My family just arrived, send me the location. I'm coming over immediately"Lola says

"Okay"Daniel before the call ended, he texted the location to Lola.

"Stop the car!"Bianca suddenly said and they stopped the car

"We should walk, we are already there"Bianca said and they came out of the car, Jake grabbed her hand immediately as she walks. He didn't want her to walk away

Bianca led them inside and they met armed men and Monica laying almost lifeless on the floor. Daniel rushed over to her immediately, his heart beating erratically as he prays she survives the beating she had received

"Seize them!"They suddenly heard Bianca said and the armed men pointed their guns at Jake and Daniel, they raise their hands up in surrender immediately

"You think you can play me for a fool huh?!"Bianca asked bursted into laughter "if I don't have you Daniel then no one will, I will make sure to kill her"she points at Monica "then you before killing myself"

"No one is stopping you from not killing yourself"Jake said rolling his eyes

"So you still have mouth to talk, it's obvious you're the mastermind of what just happened. You have the guts to blackmail me with your family name, let me see what will happen if I kill you here. You guys must be stupid coming here unarmed"Bianca said and they bursted into laughter

"Who said we came here unarmed?"Jake asked and Bianca's brows furrowed in confusion

"Don't try messing up with me"Bianca warns

"You're already messed up Bianca, you became messed up the day you started getting obsessed with me"Daniel said and Bianca snorted. She opened her mouth to retort but her words were cut short by the voice of the police

"Hands up everyone!"one of the police men shouted, one of the gun men got scared and tried running away, he was shot in the leg immediately

"Devils!"Bianca shouted before one of the police men hand cupped her hands, they also hand cupped her kidnappers with her

"You're under arrest for allegedly kidnapping Miss Korede Monica, anything you say will be use against you in the court of law"One of the police force said before dragging Bianca and her men

"I swear Daniel! You will pay for this, I'm going to deal with you after my dad takes me out of the jail!"Bianca shouted and Daniel sighed carrying Monica up

Lola who came with the police men with the request from Daniel, bursted into tears when her eyes landed on Monica.

"Monica!"her mom shouted and rushed over to Daniel's side to see her daughter properly

"Sister!"Sarah said crying too

"We should rush her to the hospital right away!"Mr Korede said and they nodded, Daniel helped her inside the car, Sarah climbed too with Daniel before Jake rode then away

Lola,Mr Korede and his wife and sisters entered Lola's car with Joel riding the car following Daniel's car.

They arrived at the hospital and came down from the car rushing Monica to the emergency ward, the doctor and nurse took Monica from them immediately rushing her into one of the rooms

"Will she be fine?"Monica's mom asked and her husband hugs her as she cries on her shoulder

"Lola!"Mr Korede asked

"Which of these two is responsible?"Mr Korede asked, Lola opened her mouth to speak but aunt Miriam cut her short

"We should wait for Monica to wake up first"Aunt Miriam said

"Yes, let her wake up first please"Aunt Victoria pleads and Mr Korede nodded.

An hour later with everyone in their own world busy praying nothing happens to Monica, the doctor came out to inform them Monica is out of danger and she already woke up. Their joy knew no bound as all of them rush inside the room immediately, Monica's mom quickly sat beside her crying and laughing at thesame time. She's so happy nothing happened to her child, Aunt Miriam and Victoria joined them too while Lola and Sarah stood at the other side of the room. Joel, Daniel and Jake stood near the door. Daniel was eager to hug Monica and ask her if she's okay but with her family around he decided to control himself first

"Mummy!"Monica said bursting into tears, looking at her face alone is enough to tell Monica went through a lot "I thought I was going to die!"

"Oh my baby! You won't die when mummy is still alive, I was so scared for you"Monica's mom said and Monica smiled

"Daddy!"Monica called when her eyes landed on her dad who was watching her warily

"Look at what you did to yourself!"Mr Korede said with an angry voice, Monica frown immediately "when you were busy sleeping with someone old enough to be your younger brother, how can you have an affair with your student?! I thought I brought you up well but it seems you were so head heels on destroying the family's legacy, I'm so disappointed at you Monica, you and your younger sister Sarah"Mr Korede said and everywhere become silent

Angry tears left Monica's eyes as she watched her dad with angry eyes, she tried controlling her mouth from saying a word and stood up from the bed removing the drip fixed on her hand

"What are you doing?!"Aunt Victoria asked

"I don't know why I kept being disappointed by people I love"Monica said wiping away the angry tears "I know I'm at fault here but at least daddy! You should have asked how I am before blaming me for whatever I did"Monica added before rushing out of the room

"Monica! She's not strong enough to walk!"her mom shouted rushing over to her but Monica started running, Daniel run after her immediately

"I will get her"Daniel said and Monica's mom stopped running after her bursting into tears. Daniel run after her and caught up with her stopping her from running away

"Leave me! Let go of me Daniel!"Monica said angrily. Daniel had never seen her this angry

"Calm down"Daniel said trying to hug her but she pushed him away

"Calm down?! When everyone I love keep on disappointing me? I'm leaving!"Monica said angrily

Daniel watched her warily, her face disfigured with wounds, Monica look up at Daniel panting heavily! She knew she can't do this anymore and it has to stop

"Monica look at me!"Daniel demanded. She refused to meet his eyes "I will do anything for you just anything as far as you promise to trust me and stay by my side that's all you have to do"

"What if I don't wanna stay at your side anymore?"Monica asked finally looking up at him

"What?!"Daniel asked loosing his voice and his knees weakened

"Take your hands off me!"Monica said angrily before walking away.
