Monica isn't feeling comfortable at all,she tried cuddling with Daniel but he wasn't having any of it. He ignored her totally like she isn't in the room.

After leaving her alone in the kitchen, Monica shrugged and continue doing what she was doing, her soup came out fine and her joy knew no bound. She went ahead and prepared the semolina on her own,she cut the semolina into desired size and went over to call Daniel

She met him on the room typing on his phone

"The food is ready"Monica says

"Okay"Daniel replied ignoring her and continue typing on his phone

"Okay? Ain't you coming?"Monica asked. Daniel stood up holding his phone and walk out of the room without even acknowledging Monica. He went to sit on the dining room and Monica served him his food, she sat down too and they started eating quietly which was odd. Monica didn't appreciate the silence

"When is your next exam?" Monica asked trying to get him talking

"Next tomorrow"he replied not still sparing her a look

"You know you're writing my paper in five days time"Monica said trying to get him talking

"Yes"Daniel replied monotonously and Monica gave up. They ate the rest of their food in silence,Daniel stood up grabbing his plates. He washed them and kept them back at it right place before going to his room ignoring Monica,he lay on his bed facing another side trying to control the anger he is feeling

Monica didn't like the way Daniel is treating her at all and went to the room to meet him laying down facing the other side. She took off her dress wearing one of his t-shirt, she wasn't wearing any thing underneath apart from the pant she's currently wearing

She joined him on the bed and went over to hug him from behind,Daniel still ignored her and she decided to try out her tactics. She slowly started kissing his earlobe,her hand went inside his shirt massaging his bare shirt,Daniel slowly pushed her away

"What's wrong?"she asked almost whining

"I'm feeling sleepy"Daniel lied

"Okay"Monica replied and lay back down trying to cuddle him but he wasn't having it, Daniel never rejected sex at least not from her,he wasn't acting his usual self and she could see it

"Daniel!"she whined not minding the way her voice came out

"What?"Daniel asked feigning ignorance

"What's wrong with you?"she asked

"I told you I'm feeling sleepy"Daniel replied

"I know you're not, tell me what's wrong with you"Monica asked and Daniel sat up

"You can't have a baby for me so what's the point of all this"Daniel said gesturing between them looking very angry, Monica bursted into laughter to her Daniel look like nothing but a child denied of he's favourite candy

"What's wrong with you and a baby? I thought we are living the moment"Monica asked and  Daniel gave her the stink eye,her laughter alone turned him completely off

"Let's go and sleep"Daniel said dismissing her,he internally cursed himself for acting so stupid,what's there if she doesn't want a family with him there are other countless girls out there, he lay back down on the bed facing the other side. Monica giggle and tried touching him again

"Can you try and not touch me?"he asked and Monica sighed knowing he's serious

"Why talk about a baby now?" Monica asked

"I thought you're matured enough to understand what I mean"Daniel says

"Matured enough?"Monica asked and Daniel groan

"Seriously I want to sleep"Daniel said and covered his face with the blanket, he couldn't sleep throughout the night and almost cried for feeling stupid. What Monica is presently doing hurt him more than he could imagine

"Good morning!"he heard Monica's voice and groan trying to stand up, his head felt so heavy and his eyes were paining him,he spent the night thinking and sleep took him around after five in the morning.

"Morning"he replied hoarsely and went to the bathroom performing his morning ritual,he came out of the bathroom stretching his body when his phone started ringing. He went over to take it and it was one of his female friends Susan

"Hey Susan!"he says with so much enthusiasm,it has been long last he set his eyes on her

"ChiChi!"Susan said and Daniel rolled his eyes, he doesn't like the nickname Susan gave him, it sounds feminine and he doesn't like it at all,he is nothing close to feminine "come outside!"

"What do you mean?"Daniel asked

"I'm in the front of your apartment"Susan said and Daniel stood up immediately running out of his room,Monica saw this and got confused. He went to open the door and met Susan standing,he smiled widely before engulfing her in a big hug making her legs to hang on the air

"Chineke! Chisom! So you want to kill me right?"Susan said bursting into laughter

"Come inside"Daniel said and Susan nodded going inside,Monica stood by the kitchen door watching them. She didn't know who the lady is and could feel jealousness eating her up. She was expecting them to sit in the living room but Daniel took her straight to his room

Monica started pacing up and down in the kitchen, she is not happy at all and she can't believe Daniel will bring another woman to his apartment while she's here.

"It's been long Chisom, as soon as I landed in Nigeria I said you're the first person I'm going to check on"Susan said and Daniel smiled

"I miss you too, how's Obi?"Daniel asked

"Obi is fine o, he is kinda busy if not we would had come together"Susan said and Daniel nodded, the door to his room suddenly opened and Monica came in,Susan frown in confusion immediately

"Hi"Monica said to Susan looking not too friendly

"Hi"Susan replied back in thesame tone Monica used on her

"Breakfast is ready"Monica told Daniel who only nodded

"Who is she?"Susan asked Daniel frowning

"She is...."Monica cut Daniel short

"I'm his girlfriend"Monica said and Susan's mouth formed a little 'ow' before Monica left the room smirking, she didn't want to throw tantrums looking childish but she has to make her presence known

"Chisom! I don't understand, I thought you're with Bianca. She told me when we talked last about marriage stuff"Susan says and Daniel groan

"I'm not in love with Bianca, you know this is an arrange stuff and it's better we end things now before it get worst"Daniel said and Susan's nodded in understanding

"Are you guys having problems?"Susan asked wriggling her brows, she motioned to the door

"Who told you that?"Daniel asked

"You know I'm a love expert and I know lovers petty quarrels when I see one,you would have introduced me to her if you guys are in good terms and also would never let me to enter your room, I have a feeling you're doing this purposely"Susan said wriggling her brows playfully

"Stop it"Daniel groan "is it that obvious?"he asked and Susan bursted into laughter

"You even admitted it,you must really love her"Susan said and Daniel smiled, of course he really loves Monica.

Ever felt so useless? That's what Monica feels at the moment, after her plan of making her presence known,she was expecting the lady to have stride out of Daniel's room in annoyance but none of that had happened for the past thirty minutes

She gave up and took a seat in the sitting room watching a cartoon when the door to Daniel's room suddenly opened and the air was filled with laughter, she saw the lady first before Daniel came out

"Good bye"the lady said waving at Monica, she nodded and concentrate back on the cartoon she is watching,she's boiling in anger and also trying to control herself

Few minutes later Daniel came back to the house ignoring Monica, he went to his room to take the handout of the next exam he will be having the following day

"When you're going,just drop my key at the flower pot"Daniel says trying to walk away. Monica stood up immediately and run to lock the door,she removed the key and threw it across the sitting room,none of them knew where the key landed

"What's the meaning of this?"Daniel asked while Monica rested her back on the door panting heavily

"You're not going anywhere until you answer all my questions"Monica said and Daniel watched her warily, she's clad on one of Daniel's button up t-shirt that look oversize on her and a bumshort

"I have an exam tomorrow"Daniel said and Monica nodded no

"Who is she?"She asked

"Who is who?"Daniel asked feigning ignorance

"The girl that just left"Monica said and Daniel chuckled

"The girl that accepted to give me a baby"Daniel replied and Monica felt a pain on her chest

"What?! Daniel?!"Monica shouted not believing what Daniel said

"Please let me leave"Daniel said and Monica started sobbing

"You're wicked"Monica says pouting and Daniel bursted into laughter,he thought Monica looks cute

"She's an old friend of mine"Monica nodded and she started feeling dizzy

"Okay,what's she doing here?"Monica asked trying to control her dizziness

"Hey! Monica!"Daniel shouted when Monica fell on the floor,he got scared immediately and carried her up. He rushed her into the room and sprinkle water on her face,Monica slowly open her eyes

"What happened?"Daniel asked looking scared, Monica didn't know why she fainted but decided to use it to get back on Daniel

"I wanted to get back on you"Monica said and bursted into laughter,her laughter died down when Daniel didn't move at all

"Don't joke about that with me"Daniel says sternly and Monica nodded, she didn't want to tell him she actually fainted

"I'm sorry"Monica said drawing him closer, Daniel slowly kiss her

"You don't know what you did to me"Daniel murmured "you scared the shit out of me"

"I'm sorry"Monica replied and continue kissing him,Daniel slowly start removing her shirt

After a lot of vigorous exercise,Monica lay her head on Daniel's naked chest,Daniel slowly played with her hair

"We quarrel almost all the time"Monica says and Daniel chuckled

"But we make up in less than a day"Daniel said and Monica sat up "that speak a lot"

"You should eat before going out to read"Monica said and Daniel nodded. Monica stood up naked in all her glories heading to the bathroom,seeing her naked make Daniel's dick to stir to life,Daniel averted his gaze immediately there's a lot to do today than sex

"You have to help me?!"Bianca cries

"Calm down and talk"

"It's Chisom o! Eh! Chisom have kill me o! He is with another woman,he is planning on ending our marriage, I have tell everybody about it o! He wants to disgrace me"Bianca cries and Kenny slowly pat her back

"Calm down Bianca,there's a solution to every problem"

"What solution?"Bianca asked

"One you have to know who this woman is and involve your parents and his"Kenny says

"Daniel is stubborn o! The way I see him, he doesn't care about the inheritance anymore. Chai! Chinekem ooo!!! Because of a girl"Bianca cries

"You're going to scare the girl off and I swear when we are done with her she will regret ever listening to Chisom the first day he talk to her"Kenny said and Bianca wiped off her tears

"Make it clearer!"she says giving Kenny all her attention

"First find who this lady is and leave the rest to me,I am always here for you, you know"

"Thank you"Bianca says and engulfed her in an hug
