Lola heard a knock on the door and stood up to open the door. Sarah wasn't at home and she's the only one in the house,she wore her flipflop immediately going for the door. She opened the door and met Joel standing at the door. She smiled brightly at him and Joel reciprocate immediately

"Come in"she gestured him to come in and he did. The date didn't end up like Lola had planned

She openly flirted with Joel at the restaurant till they reach his house,he had a very big house which you can easily mistaken as a mansion. Joel had being straightforward and asked her out,she got scared immediately thinking about what happened between her and Fred and declined,she thought she was over him but she isn't and now seeing Joel surprised her. She thought he will stop talking to her after the way she rejected him

"I wasn't expecting you"she said sitting on one of the sofas. Joel already sat on one of the sofas

"Why? Cause you turn me down?"Joel asked chuckling. Lola liked the way he gave her a short laugh,she knew she's head over heels for him but no! She's not ready to give herself out to anyone again

"Yeah... Kinda... I wasn't expecting you to laugh at me like this again,I remember what I did,it's so embarrassing"Lola said covering her face up and this time around Joel bursted into a big laughter

"Hey Katerina!"Joel called and Lola slowly lifted her hand off her face "I don't care about the way you turn me down I believe I didn't give you enough reason to trust me not after how our first encounter was"

"I mean I will make sure to get you agreeing to be mine"Joel said and Lola chuckled giving him the teasing look

"You seem confident"Lola said

"Yes I am, I believe in my abilities"Joel said winking at her and Lola bursted into laughter

"You're a lot of things"Lola said shaking her head

"I want us to start all over again"Joel said and Lola shot him a look "I want us to start over again maybe by becoming friends you know and from there we can take it to the next level with your permission of course"

"Why are you so adamant on making this work?"Lola asked her hand on her chin

"Isn't it obvious"Joel said smiling at her "will you be my friend"

"Yes"Lola says. She saw no reason not becoming Joel's friend

"You know friends know a lot about each other"Joel said and Lola smiled

"Let's start by getting you something to eat"

"So kind of you. I'm so hungry"Joel replied

"Why didn't you eat before coming?"Lola asked

"I came straight from the hospital,I was performing a surgery"he says and Lola nodded. She forget sometimes that Joel is a doctor "I'm quite good in the kitchen,I can give you an helping hand"

Finishing her last class for the day,Monica came out of the class stretching her body before she heard a laughter at her side. She turn to look at the owner of the voice and found out it's one of the lecturers in the school. Mr Adeposi Israel have been trying to get friendly with Monica for awhile now but she decided to ignore him.

"You seem tired"the man on his mid thirties said making Monica to laugh shortly. He was surprised she decided to laugh, normally Monica will just give him a respectable smile before walking away

"The class is so tiresome,the curious students kept on asking questions"Monica said and Israel smiled widely. This must be luck from heaven for him

"Those students makes the class interesting and tiring for the lecturer at thesame time"Israel said

"You said it all"Monica replied and started walking,Israel matched her pace immediately collecting her books from her

"Let me help you"he said

"You shouldn't bother"

"You look tired"Israel replied and Monica gave him a grateful smile "are you hungry? Or you still have class?"

"I'm done for the day but I'm hungry"Monica replied

"There's this eatery in the school,the food there is fantastic you don't mind if we drop by?"Israel asked

"Don't you have classes anymore?"Monica asked

"No,I'm done for the day"Israel says and Monica nodded. They started walking towards the eatery

They entered the eatery and find a good spot for themselves,they sat down and ordered for their food. Israel decided to break the silence

"You're not from around here right?"he asked

"Yes I came from Lagos state"Monica replied

"That's nice,I'm from Oyo state"Israel said smiling. Monica involuntarily gave him an once over.

Israel is a tall man,he's not more than six feet and he's light in complexion. Instead of having muscles he is filled with flesh like a woman or rather like a typical Nigeria will say, he has the ajebo features. "How long have you been lecturing here?"Monica asked

"Let's say I'm just lucky,I got the job immediately after my masters. I was twenty nine then I felt so on top of the world"Israel said and Monica bursted into laughter. She had similar feeling,she knew how joyous she was when she got the lecturing job. Lecturing have always been her dream job. The waiter came with their food and they ate with Israel cracking some jokes that made Monica laugh whole heartedly

Unknown to Monica Daniel was sitting at the other side of the eatery looking at Monica and Israel,he always knew Israel to be a cassonova. His eyes trained on them and his hand gripped his spoon tightly almost bending the iron

"Daniel?"Jake called and he slowly averted his eyes from Monica looking at Jake

"Daniel?"he called again

"Jacob can you tell me what she's doing with him?"Daniel said exasperated

"Daniel? Are you jealous or what?"Jake asked and Daniel shot him a look immediately

"Jealous? Jealous of who? Her?"he asked laughing. Jake can easily see the laughter didn't reach his eyes

"Jesus! Daniel! You like her!"Jake whisper yelled and Daniel groan

"I don't like her"he said sternly

"Then what's the meaning of that? You know you can't lie to me Dan,I'm your best friend and I know you more than you think"Jake said

"You won't understand"Daniel said his shoulders sagging

"Make me"Jake said giving him an intimidating look. Daniel swallowed,he knew better than hiding things from his best friend

"I always have this urge to have sex with her. I don't love her or anything it's purely lust and I always kinda loose control whenever I see her"Daniel said and Jake smiled sipping on his drink

"So this is what's eating you up"Jake asked smiling mischievously

"Just say something!"Daniel groan and Jake gave ignorant Monica an once over

"How am I going to do that?"he asked

Daniel in his apartment,he started pacing around thinking about what Jake said. He knew it's the truth,he have to get this over with and focus on his life. He doesn't know how it's going to happen but it has to happen.

He checked the time and it was few minutes to seven in the evening,Dan took his book closing the door behind him as an idea strike him. He is not going to rush anything,he is going to make Monica need him and beg him to fuck her so that when he's done with her,she has no reason to blame him what happened.

Daniel drove his car to the school stopping at the front of the lecturer's lodge,he came down from the car taking his book and went straight to Monica's apartment. He knocked on her door loudly

"Do you know what the time is and what help do you want?"Monica asked

"You asked us to meet you if we find any difficulty in the assignment,I have done enough research and I still don't understand"Daniel says

"Is this my office? Even if I told you guys you can meet me at anytime I was talking about working hours not in my apartment"Monica says

"I'm sorry ma but you have to help me, the project is almost overdue"Daniel said in a pathetic voice he knew he will chastised himself later,this only shows how desperate he is to fuck Monica

"Okay okay"Monica said groaning "come inside"

They entered the sitting room and Daniel sat down,Monica went to bring her electric lattern and put it on, she placed it on top of the center table in her sitting room, the AEDC took the light earlier before she went to bed
